What started as a seemingly good experience turned into a nightmare with the owner cursing and using the most horrible language I have heard. The drains were backing up in our rental called All-Clear to come out and handle. They were able to come out on Christmas Day which was great and we thought they fixed the problem. A few days later we received an invoice for $375 after being quoted $245 on the phone. A few days after that the drains started acting up again. Contacted Michele and paid the original bill of $375 and was told they would come out again as a courtesy and there would be charge for the second visit. Once the tech was out there he said it was the washer drain and then discovered it was likely the septic backing up. Long story short it does not seem like anyone there including the owner Joe has a good understanding of how plumbing works and just tries something and hopes it works. We then received a bill of $145 for the second visit. After asking why via email and not really getting anywhere my husband calls Michele she proceeds to put the owner Joe on the phone and he not only cussed at me but called me a big fat baby and hung up. Still being harassed via email over this courtesy visit. Looking at other reviews it seems to be a common problem with Joe.

There are lots of plumbers available to customers and most have good customer service reliability but the guys from AllClear were hundreds less than their competition, did a great job initially but when the drain blockage persisted, they gladly came back from up Mooresville way to do the required fix and were happy to return after hours the same day...from Mooresville! It was late and on the weekend so I encouraged them to wait until the next morning and before my coffee was finished brewing, they were at my home and did the fix with the best and most professional attitude and lots of laughter during the process too. Other plumbers I contacted were booked weeks in advance while these great guys were able to fit me in same day...and did I mention their price point was less than their competition? I ll recommend only them when it comes to clogged drains!

All Clear responded to my request very promptly and worked with me to make an appointment that was convenient. Nathan arrived on time and worked quickly to resolve my drain issue and explain to me what was had happened. I would definitely use them again.

Make sure you know how much the service charge is. I luckily had an easy issue and after 5 minutes they were out the door at $145.00.

$365.00 is excessive to unclog a drain. No estimate was given and once the work was done I felt I had no other choice but to pay. I had to write a check since the vendor did not have a Square to process plastic.
