On initial meeting with contractor for estimate, my wife insisted that the same brand "Certainteed" and color "WeatheredWood" shingles on our home be used on the garage. Contract/estimate was placed in "Certainteed" folder and color listed on estimate as "WeatheredWood". Contractor substituted a less costly brand and color of shingles. As a good business practice, Contractor should have gotten approval from us regarding the change in brand and color of shingles prior to installation. Contractor did make a small adjustment to price when shingle brand and color was brought to his attention and contractor admitted he had gotten this brand of shingles for a lower cost. Also, I had to call attention to the contractor that one additional sheet of damaged OSB sheeting on roof should be removed and replaced. Workers had covered damaged sheet with felt and were going to install new shingles over it. Contractor was on site at this time and could see damaged OSB and said nothing until I brought it to his attention. Shingle installation was satisfactory.
Poor carpentry skills by workers in installation of vent ridge cut-outs in OSB sheeting (partially sawed and beaten out with hammer) and 2X4 fascia backing at overhangs. Poor initial installation of vinyl soffits and metal fascia by subcontractor. I insisted to contractor that subcontractor should remove vinyl soffits and metal fascia and install correctly. Adequate installation on vinyl siding. Adequate installation of metal fascia and soffit after removal and reinstallation.
Poor supervision of job overall. Contractor did not return at completion of job to verify quality or completion of work. Although final product was acceptable, due to lack of employee/subcontractor supervision and quality control issues I would not use this contractor again. It is not the customers obligation to bring sub-standard workmanship to the attention of the contractor! I have 30+ years experience in the construction industry as a carpenter, construction inspector and have an AS degree in Construction Engineering and have dealt with a variety of contractors on several million dollar projects.

I am not happy with them. The job went very well except I had to call them back on four of them for leak. Their quality of work was way down than the other service provider. Their price was excellent that's why we bid it and got a low bid but we had several quality related issues. They were very responsive and came out and fixed things. In terms of punctuality, they were very prompt, that was before the hailstorm. I would not use their services again in the future. They are inexpensive if the roof is simple.

I spent about $200 for their services. They were very friendly and very conscientious. They came exactly when they said they were going to come and they returned when they said they were going to. They got the job done and it looks great. It hasn’t come back off from the wind and it has held up real good. It’s really strong. They did a good job. They even replaced it with soffits that matched perfectly that you can’t even tell. I think the price was fair and reasonable. I couldn’t have got it done for anything cheaper.

Started slowly, since our original estimate was given by a person who left the company soon after. After our estimate was found in his papers, we got the ball rolling. They were responsive to my request to have it done before school started again, and when the weather didn't allow them to come on the day they originally scheduled, they asked if thery could come on Sunday. I said yes, and they showed up, got right to work, and finished before the end of the day. They picked up their trash hauler the next morning (we live a lot closer to the dump than they do...) We love the roof and have had many compliments on it.

They were a little disorganized and the fellow, that came out and appraised the amount that they were going to charge, didn’t come back with them when they did the work. They charged me for some things that they didn’t do, that I was not crazy about. They said that when they make up a contract, they charge you for two sheets of plywood, whether you use it or don’t. Since it was included in the contract, I said I wanted it but they told me that they would use it if it was needed; so I was upset about. I think most of the roofing companies do that, but before, they’ve told me that if it is not being used, they will get it for me and leave it at my place. That’s what I asked All Dry Roofing to do but they did not. They did a good job on the roof and it is beautiful. They were a little pricey. The quality was good but they said that they were going to be here at a certain time and they didn’t show up. I ended up calling them and they said it was because they had to have all the metals custom done; so it took them longer. They said that they’d be here the day that the metal got here and if not that day, then the next morning, but they came the day after. They weren’t real good with the responsiveness. When they did get here, they got here early and they did work.

I was originally happy with the job that they did. They came out afterwards to fix a hole in my siding. A part of the roof now looks like it is sliding off my house. I have called Brian 6 times requesting that he come out to look at it. He hasn't returned any of my calls and it has been 6 weeks.

They were very responsive, sent a crew over in a few hours that was working nearby. Their foreman gave a quote on the spot and they did the work the following week. Arrived on time and no problems.

I called All-Dry because my roof was leaking above my back door. The owner was very prompt in coming out to my house, however, I was not pleased with the work nor the amount I was charged. Since it was cold outside (January), he said he couldn't properly repair it but he would apply a sealant to seal the space where the water was leaking in. He said that it would temporarily seal the space for about a year. After he left I went up into the attic to look at the sealant. He used a spray foam called "Great Stuff" that costs less than $4 at Home Depot but charged me $125 for his "service". Furthermore, he didn't clean up after himself because he left the empty can laying in my attic. The very next time it rained, sure enough my roof was leaking again! I felt ripped off.
Response from All Dry Roofing Inc
"Thank you for taking the time to give us some feedback. I apologize that you felt unsatisfied with our service. The member was correct in that due to the inclement weather, we were wary of the methodology of repair. We mentioned to her that if the leak was to continue after we left, simply call us back and we would return to make sure the leak was repaired to her satisfaction. This was all part of the service charge of $125 for the repair of your roof. We wish that the member would have called us back if the leak had continued as we gladly would have returned to ensure her happiness. Again, we do apologize you felt unsatisfied with the service. We would love to earn your business in the future, please feel free to call us if any further needs arise."

This company was punctual, courteous and got right to work. They were here when they said they would be, and came back when they said they would. They found the problems, and worked with us figuring out the solution. We were very happy with this company.
