Allen Floors

Johnny O, at the Allen Floors office is a nice guy and very fair. And Juan who ran our installation project was awesome. He was very responsive to questions and feedback and jumped on any issues we brought up. And his team did a great job. I would definitely recommend them. In fact we might add on some additional rooms of hardwood flooring next year, or we may do carpet instead. Either way we'll call Allen Floors.

They did an excellent job! I will definitely recommend them and absolutely use them, again.

Allen Floors did an excellent job in providing me new carpeting in my bedrooms and closets. David and Johnny had a no-pressure sales pitch and we're knowledgeable about their products. The installation crew did a 1st rate job. I have been very happy with my new carpeting. I would definitely recommend Allen Floors and would use them again in the future.

It went fantastic and the workers were very professional.

The existing flooring was mostly carpet with a small amount of wood laminate. We replaced it with mostly wood laminate with some carpet. Making the materials selection was very easy - there was a good selection to choose from and the prices were very reasonable. We were able to take a couple of samples so we could see what they looked like in the house itself. Two different installation teams were used, one for the wood laminate, one for the carpet. Both installations went without a hitch and the end result looked great.

It went great!! There was only one day that I could not live in my house, which was the 2nd day of the installation. On he last day, they moved back all the furniture and helped us clean the floor and dust the furniture. There were some issues with creaking and that was taken care of too with just a mention of it. Also they were using the saw in the house and it was very difficult for us since we have a baby so we asked them to move the saw outside and they did it. Great customer service and wonderful work so couldn't be happier with my choice of provider.

Called in at the store to see what they had, they did not have what we were looking for but arranged for us to go to their distributor so we could make a selection.  <br /> Install team arrived on time, did a great job moving furniture, removing old carpet, removing trim without damaging it, installing wood floor and replacing trim afterwards. Clean up was great.  We could not have asked for better installation team. After install, we noticed a couple of places where the wood was slightly damaged and they came back a few days later to fix them. Johnny and David at the store were really helpful and responsive, and monitored the job all the way through.  <br /> Can thoroughly recommend this company. We'll be back to them when we can afford to do the rest of the house. <br />

It went great.  We love the floors.  The workmanship was awesome.  It looks like it was part of the original request.  We couldn't be happier. <br />

Overall, I would say  they were good. The crew that did our floor did a nice job on the flooring. Flooring looks great but there were some quality issues with the stairwell. Once they ripped the carpet off the stairwell and installed hardwood, there were big gaps in the skirt (because of the original bad work by the homebuilders) and the crew was clueless on how to fix it. They ended up covering the gaps with wooden strips and does not look like a professional finish. <br />

The floors are beautiful. When picking out the flooring the owners patiently answered all many questions. Allowed me to take samples home. Once I decided on the flooring they came out and measured and provided me the cost. Workman were timely. Opened a box and verified that it was the right flooring. Walked through the house with me and had me verify how the floor was to be layed. I was told it would take approximately 4 to 5 days. They were done by the 4th day. Put the large pieces of furniture back and cleaned up. Loved the work, flooring and the people. <br />

In May, one of the owners of the store, Dave came to the house to measure for the laminate installation and later we came out to the store to select the product. We then scheduled the work. The 3-man crew came out and completed the work in 3 1/2  days. The crew was easy to work with. <br /> In September, we decided to schedule the second phase of the laminate installation and called the store and Dave came out to perform the floor measurement for the laminate and tile. We returned to the store and met with the other owner, Johnny to select the tile. The work was scheduled. The same 3-man crew from the May job came out and installed the laminate and tile in 3 days. <br /> Both jobs were done without major issues. The owners and crew were easy to work with.   <br />

<em>They were very prompt each day! Hugo and crew did a fabulous job!  We had moved some of the lighter pieces of furniture earlier  but they came through and moved everything else.  They worked hard, never taking a break from 9:30ish each morning to 6 or 7 at night.  The laminate portion took about 2 and one-half days to install. They came through and put in new baseboards as well in all areas of the house!  After the laminate was installed, the carpet came next.  This took only about one day to pull up the old carpeting and put down new. You can tell that everyone takes a great deal of pride in their work.<br />  Working with Johnny (and David) was a pleasure.  They keep you informed every step of the way. Thank you, Allen Floors, for our beautiful laminate and carpeting.  It was only about two weeks from our walking into the showroom to having the flooring installed!<br /> </em> <br />

Allen Floors' service was top rate all the way.  This was a perfect example of under promise and over deliver--just the way it should be!  Johnny and David were extremely helpful in giving me guidance when choosing the ceramic tiles and wood flooring.   <br /> Their pricing was considerably less than one of the big chain retailers. <br /> I was given a project start date of 2 weeks out and a 6-day window completion time.  The crew began work on the promised start date (a rare thing with contractors) and finished ahead of schedule (an even rarer thing with contractors).  Ramos and his crew were fantastic.  Their service and workmanship were A+ quality.  They were extremely careful when moving our furniture and putting it back where it belonged. <br /> I was most impressed with Allen Floors's follow up and follow through.  After the project was completed, Johnny called me to make sure I was pleased with the work.  I told him how happy I was with everything, but requested a minor touch up be made.  Ramos came back out a few days later as Johnny promised and fixed it. <br /> I am looking forward to hiring Allen Floors again when I am ready to remodel my kitchen.  I highly recommend Allen Floors to anyone that is looking to install new flooring. <br />

Extremely happy with the whole process. I priced out similar flooring at a few other places and found Allen Floors to be less than most and was able to get a higher quality product than I was seeing elsewhere. Communication was excellent and felt "in the loop" during the whole process. A couple weeks later my boys managed to break a "T mold" that separates the laminate from the tile. Within days the piece was replaced at no additional cost to me. Great products, great communication, great service, and no surprise costs. Can't recommend enough. <br />

They did a great job and were responsive when they had to come back and fix some minor issues. <br />

This was a 5 star experience. Beginning with the showroom visit to the completion of the project I have a great appreciation of the people and the quality of their work. EXCEPTIONAL!! <br />

My experience was positive. What stood out about them was their honesty. Their pricing was competitive. I would use them again.

They did a very nice job. They did it efficiently did it in 2 days instead of 3. They were very nice to work with. They give you that small town customer oriented service. The next day I found a problem and they came out and fixed it immediately and I really appreciated that. They came up with a custom transition between tile and hardwood. he took a sample and matched it perfectly. I was very pleased.

The entire process went very smoothly.  I called on a Thursday and they came out Friday to give the estimate.  I wanted to have the work done as soon as possible and they were able to schedule the job for the next Friday.  Jimmy and his crew were fantastic and I am extremely pleased with Allen Floors and will call on them for all of my future flooring needs. <br />
