BEWARE of this man, Steve Elsman,Sr., he is a thief. Angie's list may be able to verify insurance, etc... but they cannot attest to his character. I can. He lacks morals. I am a senior citizen on disability and Steve took my deposits, cashed them, and used them for his own personal use. He took deposits exceeding $2,200.00.This was money for projects to be done by him and a deposit for my driveway to be paved by his subcontractor "Jeremy". I hired him in May 2019. As of Sept. 13, 2019, he still had not completed the jobs he was hired for. He kept putting me off, especially with getting Jeremy to pave my driveway. It was then that I had a suspicion that he spent the deposits. I asked to personally speak to Jeremy and he refused to allow me to do so. That was my proof. On 9/13/2019 I fired Steve. I told him I wanted my deposits back and was told by him that I would get my deposits back next week. Next week came....no money. SURPRISE, SURPRISE! I was told that he was "working on getin the funds." I told him that he stole my money. He said "he did not", (at no time was any of the deposit money spent on supplies or labor). Steve eventually told me that he would have to pay me back in "Payments". If he did not cash the checks and spend the money, why do I have to wait for "Payments".. So now, I have to come up with another deposit to do the jobs he was supposed to do. As well as another deposit to repair my driveway. This was the most important project, for safety reasons. I have a steep driveway that is eroding. It has to be repaired so that if I need emergency services they can get up my driveway in the icy winter and in the muddy spring. But, apparently, Steve Elsman does not seem to care about the needs of a senior citizen with MS. He knows that I have MS and am on disability. In the very beginning, when I hired him, I told him of my situation. I am sure he will deny knowing that. SURPRISE! Steve lies often. Steve lies frequently. Steve lies. He did complete several projects before he revealed his true self. It took a bit to figure out that he tries to do the least amount of work with the cheapest of materials for the most amount of money. When I figured that out, I was about to part ways. What a guy.

Good, and they were quick. They were pleasant and affordable. They cleaned up after themselves and they answered all my calls. They worked perfectly.

Good work. It was good. They got the job done.

Very well. They were personable, polite and professional. They had a reasonable price.

It was alright and they were very friendly. The pricing was fair.
