His work was outstanding in all respects. He was completely trustworthy. His price was right in the middle of all the estimates I got. In my case he stuck to his estimate but he didn't find any unexpected damage while he was working either. He did the job in 4 hours less than quoted maximum time frame. I'd have no hesitation in recommending his services are using his services again. <br />

I paid him upfront and felt pressured. He ended up making some other repairs around the house but did not fix what I originally needed fixed which was the roof. He did not fix the roof entirely, only patched up. He patched the roof up on a day that it called for rain. It ended up raining and I was left with a leaky roof. He told me he would come out to fix but never did and I had already paid upfront. Buyer beware. He may be going under an alias name.

I am a senior with a background in construction. After reviewing many contractors and speaking with some of them, I immediately knew I hit the jackpot when I spoke to Danny. <br /> <br /> 1. He knew exactly what I needed and wanted done when I first spoke to him. This entailed the replacement, repair, and installation of the items listed above with attention to quality in materials, prevention of future problems, a fair price, and a commitment to starting and showing up once the job was initiated. Danny exceeded every expectation in these regards! <br /> 2. I silently knew in advance manufacturers, quality and cost of exterior doors (including the french door), storm doors, door locks and deadbolts, leak-proof door sills for 6 inch exterior walls and a leak-proof barrier on the bottom of the door frames. Without knowing of my preferences, Danny suggested the identical manufacturers and materials I had in mind. At this juncture, we met and I hired Danny to perform the work. <br /> 3. I am beyond pleased with the outcome of Danny's effort on this project. As an example of his integrity, he asked me to trust him in the design and installation of an exterior octagonal window in a bathroom. My wife and I were literally blown away with a handcrafted symmetrical waterproof tunnel and inside wall frame he created - more akin to an artistic piece than a window. <br /> 4. Inside work was always minimally invasive using tarps and soft shoes rather than work boots. Outside and inside cleanup at the end of each work day was respectfully performed leaving no mess. <br /> I would recommend Danny to anyone requiring any kind of interior or exterior installation, modification, or repair as I have seen firsthand examples of his experience, skills, and personal and business ethics. In fact, Danny is presently working on costs to replace our roof.

He did a real good job of cleaning up. He has a helper and he always works with him. He does not put him on the job and come back and check later. He did a good job and he was supposed to give me an estimate on repairing of the wall. He was honest and hardworking and that is why i went with me. I am concerned about matching colors on my roof and he paid details to that. My brother said however they had not fill up a couple of ports on the roof. He thought they over looked it other than that he did a good job.

He's awesome. He's really good attention to details. When we asked him a question like if I want something done and he said he won't do it; he explains it to you why. He's just going to do what I ask him to do because he's going to make more money. He's only going to do it when it's safe and if it makes sense. They're all very courteous, very clean and there are no bad things on the job or anything like that. They're very professional. He's a little bit higher than anybody else but gives more attention than anybody else. You're paying for what you get.

The owner initially told me that normally the cost would be <br /> $59 per piece but because I would be sending that many pieces at once, he would <br /> charge me $39.99 per piece of equipment. I asked him if there were any <br /> other charges and the only thing he told me was that if there were any parts <br /> that needed to be ordered there could be an additional charge for them. Though <br /> we picked a day for the equipment to be picked up, there was confusion on their <br /> end. Fortunately, I was home to give <br /> them the equipment. <br /> The next week after the equipment was picked up, I asked the owner to send me <br /> the invoice so I could prepare getting the money together but he avoided the <br /> subject. Around Thursday of the <br /> following week, I received a call saying they were running late, that it would <br /> not be finished and they would deliver the equipment the following week. I <br /> started to get concerned about my equipment when it was still not ready the <br /> following week and asked the owner to please deliver the equipment ASAP. Though <br /> he wanted to wait until the next week, I convinced him to deliver. <br /> Finally I received an invoice from him which was MUCH higher <br /> than we discussed. The charge per unit <br /> was supposed to be $39.99 but he charged me $44.95. He had a number of additional charges which <br /> he never mentioned (including charges like 29.99 diagnosis fee, and a $90 <br /> delivery fee per piece). Even though he <br /> came to my house one time, picked up all the equipment in bulk and delivered it <br /> one time, he charged me as if he had to come pick everything up <br /> individually. When I asked him about all <br /> the additional charges he became very defensive and said I HAD to pay. He then threatened to not deliver my <br /> equipment until I paid the invoice at the higher quote <br /> To make matters worse, When I got back from my work trip I <br /> noticed a few things wrong with my equipment. <br /> Even though I had a terrible experience thus far, I decided to call the <br /> owner to ask him what we could do to make sure the equipment worked well. He instantly got defensive and said it wasn?t <br /> his fault. He wouldn?t even let me explain <br /> the problems before he would tell me I must have done something wrong to the equipment <br /> such as putting bad gas in them or something else. He said he would come out but if he felt I <br /> did something wrong, he would charge me all over again. <br /> <br /> Worst experience I have ever had on Angies list and worst experience <br /> I have had since moving to Maryland. BE <br /> VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS PROVIDER. <br /> <br /> <br />

"Dear Member, Beneath your posting is three (3) pages of straight A reviews from other members. As I do with all my customers, I bent over backwards and went completely out of my way to provide you with the exact same service. I reduced my pricing on everything I fixed for you including pick up and delivery. We do not even service your area (Ellicot City, MD), however, you begged me to come and work on your equipment after reading my reviews here on Angie's list and I did it to help you. It was 45 miles ONE WAY for a total of 180 miles and about three hours of drive time and loading and unloading time to pick up and deliver 5 pieces of equipment for which I only charged you $100.00. By the time we paid for gas and paid the delivery driver we made nothing. We have to drive to your home, then drive your equipment back to our shop, then drive it back to you after it's repaired, then drive back to our shop. That is a lot of time, gas and hourly wage for out drivers on top of reducing your bill because you were an Angie's List customer. However, what you conveniently failed to mention was that you went out of town for an extended period of time while your equipment was at our shop and didn't call me back for almost 2 weeks which is what delayed the repair process and us getting your equipment back to you sooner. When you called me regarding a problem that you were having with your equipment, I tried to tell you what it might be over the phone in an attempt to help you. Then when I told you that I would gladly pick up your equipment and if the problem was a result of my work that I would fix it for free, however, it was not that you would be charge according is when you threatened to write a bad review on Angie's list. Not because of anything that I did wrong but, only in an attempt to get me to comply to fix what ever was wrong for free. As I stated in the beginning, I have pages of straight A reviews and that I treat everyone the same. There for it makes no sense whatsoever for you to give me straight F. I drove 180 miles out of my way to help you as you asked me to do after explaining to you that I do not even service your area. I picked up, tuned up and repaired and delivered back to you 5 pieces of equipment for a total of $460.00. All of which ran perfectly when it left my shop. You waited almost a month to call to report a problem and told me that you continued using the equipment even after you felt that there was something wrong with it. In closing, you, sir, are just simply one of those people who wants something for nothing. And no matter how hard someone tries to make you happy it just is never good enough. I can honestly say that I tried just as hard with you as every other Angie's List member."

Took it with him, called that day with the problem and price. He got the part,fixed the snowblower and returned it two days later. He also supplied a book on taking care of the snowblower. Very good work, very professional. Will continue to use him as needed <br />

Vince called me back within hours of my sending him a message through Angie's List. Even though he does not list Montgomery County as one of his service areas, he was completely willing to help us out. In my message, I had requested the work to be done onsite but Vince explained why having him pick up the generator and take it back to his shop to work on it would make more sense. His charge for pick-up and delivery back to us was only $34.95. <br /> When Vince came to pick up the generator, he was on time and was able to give me a ballpark cost for the work (which turned out to be very accurate). He said that he could get it back to us in 3-4 days but I asked if he could do it faster as there was a snow storm predicted for the next day or so. Vince agreed to a shorter time line and ultimately got the generator back to us within 1 day! There ended up being no snow storm but we got our generator back in working condition - along with a booklet of care instructions, a copy of our invoice, and a service history form. A few days later we received a hand-written Thank You card in appreciation of our business. I can't imagine how the service could have been any better. We will use Vince for any future small engine repairs/maintenance we have and highly recommend him and his services. <br />

Our appointments are always open ended based on the weather conditions. It can be too cold or raining and as a result we quite often have to modify and or adjust our schedule to in order to meet our customers needs. There are others things as well but, weather in our business is a huge factor and changes very frequently. Regarding returning your call(s). When we are up on roof, climbing a ladder, driving to or from an appointment, operating a back pack blower, or speaking to a customer, it isn't always easy to answer the phone at that moment. However, I can assure you that at no time were we "Dodging" your request. We greatly appreciate and honor the opportunity to serve you and everyone.
