All Purpose Tree Service

Provider cut trees as promised.  When asked if stump grinding was included, provider promised that it was and they would return.  After a month passed, I called to ask about stump grinding.  A date two weeks out was promised.  That date came and went.  Phone messages not returned.  Stumps still not ground. <br />

I needed to have a tree removed. He came out and chopped down the tree and hauled it away, all but the stump. I payed him $40 up front. After he removed the tree I paid him $860. He said he would be back on 7/17 to do the stump and it would cost an additional $50. He kept putting me off. He said he couldn't make it on 7/17 and he would be back on Monday, then he said Tuesday. I called today 7/21 and he told me he doesn't know when he is going to get to me and to stop harassing him for a $50 stump and that he may have to send someone else out to remove the stump because he is too busy. I don't care about the money, the job is not complete until the stump is removed.

They showed up in my neighborhood to perform work for my neighbors. I asked them to look at a couple of my trees. They gave me an estimate and I liked the price. They said they could remove the trees in a couple hours starting the same day. They were in and out in 3 hours counting cleanup. <br />These guys removed my trees with precision in a rather confined area. I had flower beds, flower pots on my deck, and bird feeders all in a fenced in area. I was skeptical but they dropped every branch exactly where they wanted to. Everything in my yard looks exactly like it did the day before except no dead trees.

They did such a nice job & they were so thorough! They were all so nice!

It went very very well.

<p>They did do a good job, I will say that.  But what turned this into a bad experience and the reason they wont be back are two reasons.  The first is they drove a huge truck through the side and back yard to get right up to the tree that needed to be cut down.  I had not expected that, and nothing was said about how the job would be accomplished but since it had been raining and the ground was wet, I now have tire ruts in my yard.  The second thing is when this job was agreed upon by my mother, (not me) she told them the day before she would not be home all day and they would have to come back in the evening for payment. No problem, they said.  When the job was almost complete, however, this became a huge problem.  They wanted me to pay them, they wanted me to call my mother to rush home and pay them.  They wanted cash, not a check.  I got a huge sob story about how the extra hired men would "beat him up" if he didn't pay them in cash by the  end of the day, and the banks would be closed by the time he got his check.  He got his check about 7:00 pm, and asked to have it made out to him personally.  Doesn't sound like any of them file taxes.  I guess if you just want a job done cheap and pay cash, these are the guys are for you, Otherwise stay clear. </p> <br />

He came right away equipped and ready to the work. They were very professional. I recommend them as well to others.
