Brandon Ko showed up appearing ready to work, I paid him half up front and the balance later that afternoon. The chimney appeared to be straight, but less than 2 months later, my chimney is leaning again. I have called Brandon Ko at least twice and the number is disconnected. I also emailed Brandon Ko directly at least twice and have not received a response. I would like a full refund I paid for the sub standard product I received.

Terribly! My daughter hired this company per their rating on Angie's List in April to clean out her dryer vent and chimney before moving into her new house. When he came, he told her that he got a lot of lint out of the vent. After installing her washer and dryer in late May to early June, she noticed that her clothes weren't drying and there was water coming out from beneath it. Thinking it was a problem with the washer and dryer, she hired someone out to service them. She was told there was nothing wrong with either. She then called out a heating and cooling company to see if they could check the vent and he discovered clogs in several places along her dryer vent. She is a single person who used her washer and dryer for less than two months and there is no possible way that her one load of laundry a week would fill her vent so quickly. The heating professional who came out cleaned every last inch of the vent. She called All Source the next day and left them a message to call her. She didn't get a return call from them so called again later that afternoon and spoke with Someone about the problem that she had. All Source offered to come back out to clean it again, but since it was already clean she simply asked to be reimbursed for what she paid. A week later, she still had not been contacted so she tried to call back to follow up. It said the number had been disconnected. However when she attempted to call from two different phone numbers, the call went through to their voicemail system which means that instead of fixing the UNSAFE condition that they left her dryer vent, All Source decided to block her number and ignore her. Basically, she spent an additional $174 to find out that All Source never actually completed the job that she paid them $189 to perform in the first place.

Quite well. Brandon was very professional and he provided much insight into the chimney cleaning process as well as areas of concern. He also arranged our gas logs for optimal performance - much better.

All Source Chimney was paid in full and yet left work unfinished, resulting in unsafe conditions that could have caused a chimney fire. Thank goodness we had a different company take a look or we would have never known that All Source Chimney did not complete the work they were hired and paid to do. The owner has yet to do the right thing - provide a partial refund for the incomplete work - even after being ordered by a judge to do so. In June of 2014, All Source Chimney performed an inspection and suggested repairs be made in order to make our fireplace safe and usable. According to the quote provided they were supposed to complete several repairs including installing a chimney liner, pouring granular insulation around the liner, and parging the smoke chamber. They were paid in full upon what everyone thought was the completion of this work. When we finally used the fireplace over a year later, we noticed a burning plastic smell. All Source Chimney said they were booked solid and unavailable to investigate, so we contacted Fluesbrothers Chimney Service who sent out a CSIA-certified chimney sweep to perform a full inspection. Fluesbrothers found the chimney liner was installed, but believed it had not been properly insulated with granular insulation. There was pink fiberglass insulation at the base of the liner, which they believed might account for the burning plastic smell. They also found that only one of the four smoke chamber walls was parged. Fluesbrothers provided images and a detailed quote to finish the work that All Source Chimney left behind. We contacted the Chimney Safety Institute of America (CSIA) and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) regarding safety codes and standards. A representative from the CSIA explained, "There is no logical reason for a smoke chamber to only be partially parged... [according to codes in place for the last decade] the inside surface should be parged smooth." The NFPA safety codes state the same thing - the whole smoke chamber should be parged smooth. All Source Chimney parged less than half of our smoke chamber, which does not meet any fire or building codes we could reference. This was surprising to us considering All Source Chimney's claim that all of their technicians are up to date on NFPA 211 and IRC codes and standards. We then emailed All Source Chimney about the issues to give them an opportunity to inspect and resolve the incomplete repairs. We thought perhaps an employee or sub-contractor was cutting corners and the owner wasn't aware of this. We were pleased when the owner, Brandon Ko, replied to the email saying he would like to personally come out and "correct anything not to our agreement." After several more attempts to contact him and receiving no reply, we believed that All Source Chimney would not willingly complete the repairs (already paid for in full) and bring our fireplace to a safe, usable condition as per the agreed-upon estimate. We contacted the BBB and the State Consumer Protection Division, who couldn't do much because it had been over a year since the transaction took place. At this point we felt our best recourse would be to file a small claims suit against All Source Chimney, LLC. We hoped they would see that ignoring us wasn't going to make the problem go away and that if they are, in fact, an honorable and reputable business they should do the right thing when a dangerous mistake is made. We won the court case in May 2016 and have yet to receive any response to our numerous requests to make payment arrangements for the $2000 judgment owed to us. We're disappointed that such a high-ranking Angie's List company would leave a job unsafe and unfinished with no attempt to make it right. We feel All Source Chimney's negligence put our home and our family at risk, and are shocked that they have made absolutely no effort to resolve anything thus far. That is simply unacceptable.

They came out and supposedly cleaned the chimney and the fireplace. I just happened to look up in the fireplace and it was filthy! I couldn't believe it! They did a really poor job! The owner himself then came out and did the work and he also credited the account. The owner also made some other promises he didn't keep, but I just want to warn members to watch out for these guys because I just happened to look up my chimney and see this after they assured me that they had gotten the job done. The owner looked up the chimney and he said they cleaned part of it and not all of it. I didn't pay for that I paid for a full service which is why the owner credited my account, but he still did not keep some of the promises that he made.

All Source Chimney showed up on time, gave me a precise estimate and performed the work exactly as they agreed to.   They were professional and did great work.

Excellent punctual professional knowledgeable service.   <br /> Called for a cleaning, but Brandon (Mr. Ko, I assume) determined that a cleaning was not needed.  Performed a thorough inspection, answered all of my questions, properly arranged the logs, etc.  I don't like to bargain hunt when it comes to having a safe fireplace, but All Source provided solid expertise and honesty at what I feel is a great price. I will happily look to them again in the future for any repairs and maintenance.   <br />

When I called into All Source the receptionist who answered the phone was phenomenal! She answered right away and was able to put me on the scheadule within a timely manner. The company completed the chimney inspection and made the repairs. The owner Brandon came out with an assistant. They were both very professional and only did the work that needed to be done. Brandon was very knowlegable and answered any question I had.   <br /> I would recommend this company All source for ALL your chimney repair needs. <br />

2 men showed up late to the appointment since the receptionist wrote down the incorrect address. One of the men did the cleaning while the other one stayed outside in his truck. My daughter had to stay while I had to go to another appointment during this time. We had paid extra for all 3 fireplaces to have a video recording to offer a full analysis and recommendations. I was not overly impressed with the cleanings and had called that same day. She recommended I send an email to the owner to inquire about it. (I didn't realize at the time the owner was here at the appointment and was the one who was out in his truck). I sent an email then asking about it and received a reply the following evening. He explained about the sand needing to stay in the fireplace which I then understood but then asked about when we could receive the analysis. No reply. Sent another email asking about it. Finally received an answer that stated that all of our flues are unusable and extensive repair is needed but that he is NOT offering repairs in our area?! What a joke and completely unprofessional. I would NOT recommend using this provider and I'm shocked that so many others have been happy with his work and work ethic!! <br />
