"WE WORKED WITH THE MEMBER'S INSURANCE COMPANY TO GET FULL REPLACEMENT COST FOR DAMAGE THAT OCCURRED TO THEIR HOME FROM THE APRIL HAILSTORM. IT STATES IN OUR CONTRACT THAT WE WORK FOR INSURANCE PROCEEDS ONLY WITH NO ADDITIONAL COST TO THE HOMEOWNER BUT THEIR DEDUCTIBLE. AFTER WE SETTLED WITH INSURANCE THE MEMBER DECIDED HE ONLY WANTED TO CONTRACT WITH US TO DO HIS ROOFING REPLACEMENT. THIS PORTION OF THE CONTRACT WAS APPROXIMATLY $5100. DURING CONSTUCTION, WE NOTICED THE DECKING ON HIS HOME NEEDED REPLACED AND INFORMED THEM OF THIS. THE COST FOR NEW DECKING WAS EXPLAINED TO THE MEMBER AND THEY WERE INFORMED THEIR INSURANCE COMPANY WOULD NOT COVER IT AND THEY WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE. THIS WAS AGREEABLE TO THEM AND THE COST CAME OUT TO BE AN ADDITIONAL $2100. WHEN PRESENTED WITH THE BILL THEY REFUSED TO PAY ANY AMOUNT. THEREFORE WE ARE CURRENTLY IN LITIGATION TO CLEAR UP THIS MATTER LEGALLY."
