Good. Took a long time; he does use sub contractors which I didn't know before hand and the sub always wanted to come in the evenings when I was at home, after working all day, or on a Saturday. <br /> I don't have the exact cost with me right now or the correct month, but do know it took several months for the job to even get started, then after started, took several months more.(He was really busy with other jobs going on at the same time.) <br />

Handyman great, but the owner wasn't as responsive or good on follow-through, as we wanted estimates for other work and we never heard from him. <br />

We were a little disappointed.  We knew we had a rodent problem.  They said we had a problem and gave us a list of services they could provide.  There was a misunderstanding in what they were going.

.They worked very hard even when the temperature in the attic rose to 100. I was impressed with their pleasant & informative attitude about the work they were doing at the time. Luckily I had plenty of cold ice water & paper towels to cool them in the heat. I felt like this company had done this kind of work well before so I bought new gutter guards from them, too. I've told several friends about the good work they did on my house. I would definitely hire them again. <br />

It turned out very well. They did a very nice job. It was done for the big deal price but then I asked if they could do something else. They did what they said that they would do for the price and then I asked them to do something extra on top of the big deal.

We were very pleased and used them to add insulation to the attic and to fix some water damage.   They also inspected around the chimney. They seemed very knowledgeable and were very helpful.  There was one technician for the initial inspection and they sent a total of three to do the work. They were here at the time they said they would be, and did everything exactly the way my husband wanted.

Ultimately, it didn't turn out very well due to miscommunication.  Specifically, we called them prior to purchasing the deal in order to make sure it covered the specific kind of work that we needed them to do.  Once they came out, however, they told us that the deal we ended up purchasing didn't apply to our roof's particular issue at that time.  Aside from this, they arrived on time and did a decent job with the work they were able to perform.

I looked at some tiles, I found one that I liked.  He said that might be difficult, and he was going to do some looking for me.  I had some pressing issues that I needed to deal with.  When I reached back out to the company the phone number was disconnected.

We have not had this work done yet but we plan to call AllStar for a newer quote when we're ready to replace insulation. <br />

We bought a coupon <strong>$99 for 4 Hours of Window Restoration and Weatherstripping </strong>and knew it would take more than 4 hours to have ~9 cracked windows replaced, so requested a written estimate for the total work. Contractor came out (who was a sub-contractor of All star) and provided estimate for time. We tried to share some information with him (on the fact that many of the windows wouldn't open) and they entire window frame would have to be removed for the lower or upper panes to be replaced. The contractor, although very very nice, was pretty sure that he could replace "his way", so provided a quote for xx hours.   Long story short - he spent about 6 or so extra house (above the additional written estimate)  trying to open windows that have been painted shut for 50 plus yrs vs just removing the window frame, which resulted in him being WAY off on the actual additional hours needed for the job. There was also a huge delay in getting scheduled, and between his visits, which was a problem for us, as we had sold the house and needed all the work done prior to the final walk-through from the buyers. We ended up paying for several more hours than the original quote (which they should have honored, especially since the "delay" was due to the contractor "messing around" trying to open shut windows vs just popping out the frames)  In addition, my husband ended up doing some of the work and replaced a few of the window panes himself and also removed some of the window frames in advance of his visits to expedite things.  The work was done correctly, but given the overage, the stress associated with the scheduling and the fact that they didn?t honor their written estimate, and the fact, that my husband did a 1/3 of the work, means that I will not use this company again.  The owner did offer me a discount off of any future work. <br />

Started this project by purchasing "The Big Deal" Coupon on April 3rd, 2013 for $349 for a a new ceramic tiel floor/Backsplash with Demolitin Labor and Materials included. After finally connecting with the contractor (Don Steele) based on what I wanted, he assessed what I needed and with an estimate of $3270.00 to ceramic tile my whole kitchen to include a laundry/utility room.  I signed a contract and placed 1/2 down on the project. <br /> <br />Overall the project went well, with a few disconnects in timing, however the recovery was good and the end product was awesome! Loved the floor and the ceramic tile installation was awesome! <br /> <br />

That went well. There were some things that weren't up to my expectations. But they did pay attention to my needs and concerns so by the end of the project I was pleased with them. I spent about $7000 for their services so far.
