From the beginning, James was very professional and thorough in providing me with details about the job. He gave me a fair estimate and the time span for the work. He and his crew arrived on the appointed date, James again reviewed the work to be done and answered all questions. His crew worked diligently the whole day with an appropriate lunch break. I provided James with the color paint I wanted for the room. It was only after he purchased the paint that I realized that it would be too dark. James was patient with my dilemma of trying to decide on a color. He personally escorted me to the paint store to be sure I would get the color I wanted. I can't believe the transformation of my bedroom with this paint job. Allstar did a fantastic job. The clean up was excellent. I am more than pleased with their work. My husband, who was away during this time, was extremely happy with the quality of the work. We will definitely use their service again. <br /> <br />

I cannot say enough about Danny's work ethic. We are renovating a 100+ year old house, and Danny and his crew did a great job. This renovation has been quite stressful, and Danny was incredibly patient and helped us through a number of decisions, including the exterior paint colors. We changed our minds after the first coat, and he took the time to work with us, paint different samples, and get the color just right. He also replaced a great deal of rotted wood around the house, and rebuilt portions of our porch. <br /> They replaced three old plaster walls with sheetrock and skim coated five rooms. I am going to try to skim coat one of our rooms myself, and Danny took the time to show me how. He really went above and beyond and I will definitely hire him again. Danny cares about his work and his customers. He stayed late many nights and even worked all weekend, and took the time to make sure everything was perfect. Danny responds promptly to text messages, shows up on time, and answers all of your questions. <br /> The paint job is absolutely beautiful and two of our neighbors have already asked Danny for quotes to repaint their houses. The whole neighborhood has been commenting about what a great job they did. Danny is a perfectionist and a professional, and a genuinely nice guy. It was a real pleasure working with him. We plan to hire Danny again and recommend him without reservation! Great job! Thanks so much. <br /> <br /> <br /> After dealing with the company again I found that my porch began peel painted itwhile wet because of no primer. I paid them to replace wood pieces and they put different wood that does not match the porch. They said they were contractors and had them to work on bathroom. They used unlicenced electrician and lied to me about it. They buried live wires in our wall which is a fire hazzard, put wrong faucet in shower had to have a plumber come in and re do it. They didn't cock toilet to floors so it moves and they cracked our tile when they put it in. had to have it replaced several times. Paid them to prop up porch and they messed it up. Left garbage under my porch. The contracter kept smoking and put ciggerette butts in my garden. tore our bushes. Had them redo the plaster and they put supplies on my couch that they did pay to dryclean. After Danny, the co owner he split from the company and I hired him back to put in kitchen floor and didn't level floor and screwed it up and admitted he never did it before. he put wainestopping and screwed benches up not attached to wall now. have email stating he will pay me back, only got half back and he quit making payments. The original quote says they were going to paint the shed and it was never done as well

AllStar Painting and Contracting did a fantastic job from start to finish. They are much more than just a painting company! They installed 6 doors, moldings, removed wallpaper, repaired walls, and much more. Danny is a true professional (and perfectionist) and was cognizant to all our requests throughout the entire process. They treat your home as if it was their own. This type of attention to detail has generated their tremendous reviews and repeat business. Danny, James, Ryan and the rest of the crew were wonderful. James provided a fair and timely estimate and the work was completed to our extremely high standards. It went well. Everything was done as written in the proposal. I added some things along the way but the price for the original work was as stated. They stuck to my time schedule and got the whole place ready for sale. They seem to know a lot about real estate sales because they work with a real estate company when houses need spiffing up. It looks beautiful. <br />

Danny and his team did an amazing job. It's been a few weeks, but we still look around and comment on how glad we are to have hired Danny. First, he seemed to actually care about the house when he came by to give an estimate. We could tell he cared about his job as well when he commented on colors and noticed things like the trims and ceilings. Other painters just nitpicked on whether we wanted x, y and z painted in each room. With Danny, common sense prevailed and he knew we just wanted everything painted. <br /> He helped spackle and patch up holes and cracks that were here w/ the previous owner. He even fixed things like an uneven trim that was hanging low, and missing trim near the bottom of the floor in the master bedroom. Those things bothered me when we got the house, but I thought we'd just get them fixed "one day." Well Danny's a perfectionist. Without us even asking, he offered to fix them and did such a great job. He has such an eye for detail and helped transform this place from an old house to one that feels new and fresh. <br /> He was also really patient as we took time to pick our paint colors. He had his guys work on other rooms when we couldn't decide on a few rooms. When we stopped by, his guys were always nice, friendly and respectful of our home. We were happy with how Danny and his crew really cared about their work. <br /> The paint job itself is beautiful and neat. It just feels like a completely different house, and we have Danny to thank for that. One other huge positive - the cleanup job. We were around the last day and were struck by how much time they spent cleaning up the place including vacuuming. They left the house immaculate, and even stayed til midnight to do so. We worked with another contractor prior to Danny, and they left the house such a mess that I was beyond upset. But like I said, Danny's a perfectionist so he was the complete opposite. Hire him - we would again, without a doubt. <br />

Experience was one of the best I've had as a homeowner. Danny, James and the crew were true professionals and take extreme pride in their work. Great attention to detail and amazing freehand straight lines on our ceiling and 20 beams. We called Danny last week and he was available to start because another job finished early. He showed up as promised and got right to work. Each day he showed up on time and stayed on the job until it was done. He communicated clearly during the entire job. During the job we ran into a few challenges that would normally turn a good job into a problem but Danny kept focused and made sure we were happy. He worked through the weekend to make sure everything was done. Danny exemplifies a contractor that takes pride in his work and makes sure the customer is completely satisfied. The job came out fantastic. The best painter we have ever used and we will absolutely use him again. <br />

The apartment is a coop therefore insurance documents and permits had to be completed and issued there was also work time restrictions Mon - Fri 9am -4pm . Danny provide all paperwork immediately and work was started on Tuesday June 24, 2014 and completed on Thursday June 26,2014 cost of job included paint clean up and, removal / disposal of garbage . <br /> Let me just say that the walls in this coop that i recently brought were horrible and it need extensive work to make them smooth. i could have gotten them all skim coated but Danny assured me that he can get the walls to look good and and save me some money. He was right !!!!! <br /> Danny and crew did an amazing ,fantastic beyond professional job , i was truly impressed with his work the painting came out beautiful and there was a total 5 Benjamin Moore colors used ceiling white in bedrooms hallways closets, Caliente AF290 and Fresh Butter 290 in bedroom 2, Light Khaki 2148-40 bedroom 1 and hallway Seedling AF450. <br /> i still have my living room , entrance hallway ,kitchen and bathroom to be painted this project will require complete skim coat walls and ceilings of hallway and living room and minor painting of bathroom and kitchen after remodel. <br /> Danny will without a doubt be hired . <br /> <br /> <br />

Danny and his crew werre there for two days. 6/10 and 6/11. The first day there were only two workers and I was a bit concerned that the task could be completed in the two days he mentioned. That said, yesterday there were 5 workers. There were lots of prep work, plastering, sanding that needed to be done. The crew also re-covered some duct tape that was showing around 3 different ceiling fans. I was very pleased in what they did and how much better the ceiling now looks. You would never know there was duct tape there before hand. Another challange they overcame were the winodw frames and window sills that had protective gates permanently in place. They used small artish brushes to clean up the are and it looks great. They also somehow covered some scarred wall space ( 1x1 feet) which was behing an old radiator. They covered the scarring and painted over it. They also painted my bathroom door white (used to have a old wood look) and it looks great. The quality of the paint gave only a minor oder which didn't last too long. They also worked around my kittie which had to remain in his carrier all day yesterday (6/10). Danny did a walk thorugh when we were done and made sure to make himself available if something came up. In summary, considering it was the first time in 9 years I painted, there was much to do and Danny and hs crew did really super work. "A" rating for sure. <br />

I was amazed at just how well it went. James, the owner, promised me he would do a great job and he not only met, but exceeded all my expectations! My home looks like it had a face lift- and I couldn't be happier with the entire job. James was hands-on- inspecting the work and making suggestions all along the way. I appreciate his expertise, and was impressed at how much care he took to deliver great results during the entire process. For example, he made some of his guys do something over (which looked good to me), because it didn't meet his standards. He suggested I paint my molding in the kitchen white to open up the space- things I wouldn't have thought of, but made a big difference. It's not too often you have an experience with a vendor and know immediately that you will be working with them again in the future years to come. I cannot express how pleased I was with the results- it wasn't empty sales promises that so many vendors make, but they delivered on everything they said they would do and more. I now have a "painter" I can rely on- will definitely recommend James and company (Danny, Ryan and crew) to my friends and family. <br />

The ceiling peeled. I called Danny, the man who painted, and let him know that the paint was peeling. He came back to my home and repainted the area that was peeling. I did not use the bathroom for over a week to make sure that it had time to dry thoroughly. Now the ceiling is peeling again in another area. When I called Danny for the second time to inform him of this he said, "Well it is a bathroom what do you expect!" He made every other excuse as to why it could be peeling, leaky roof, damaged gutters, I am taking showers that are to hot, etc. I never had this issue until Danny painted my ceiling. He did offer to come back and re-paint, but he wanted to use the same materials. I am done with Danny and would not recommend this service provider. <br /> I used Angies List Concierge service and my specific request was for someone who could wallpaper. Danny informed me that he does not do wallpaper and gets someone else to do it. I could have found anyone on the corner to do this work, I was really relying on Angies List to find me someone who is actually rated and reliable, and with my experience with Danny it is not him. <br />

"Thank you for your feedback.I did not make any excuses I just told you the truth about what is going on with your bathroom.I did not say some of the things you said I said.I definitely did not say "it is a bathroom what do you expect" if your going to post reviews you need be honest.You even hung up on me when I was trying to come up with a solution.I offered to redo anything your not happy with or your money back .You told me yourself that Benjamin Moore sent painters to paint your bathroom twice because of your humidity problem in your bathroom.You decided to wallpaper the bathroom because of the same reason.Your ceiling is getting drench with water because the ceiling is so low in the shower.I said to you that you need a vent or tile the ceiling area in the shower area.There is no ventilation in your bathroom which you heard many times before you ever met me.Everybody is telling you the problem but you just do not want to install a ventilation system in the bathroom.I'm not sure why your not listening to everybody telling you the same thing for years.I am still willing to fix the ceiling no matter how you feel about me because I do not want any of my customer to be unhappy.My company does install wallpaper so I'm not sure what that comment was about. Install a ventilation system in your bathroom and your problems will go away.Thank you."

Overall my experience with AllStar Painting was a great one and I would certainly hire them again for future work we do on the house. The initial estimate was not a complete as would have been helpful but the subsequent visit just prior to starting the job was very detailed. Our main point of contact, Danny, was always right on time (if not early) and was extremely communicative throughout the process. As we had not yet moved into the house, we received almost daily phone calls with updates on how the job was progressing as well as any issues found so that they could be corrected if needed. We were told the job would take a week and the job was started on a Monday and completed by Saturday. All of the crew was very professional and the clean up job was done very well. We were even told that if we found anything remaining that needed to be cleaned, just to call and they would come back. We did have some follow ups and they were extremely responsive to those questions as well. <br />

I was satisfied with the work. Scheduling was pretty good and we did have slight scheduling issues but it all worked out. There were three people here doing the work and it took 4 days to complete. The results are pretty good.

Danny and his guys did a great job. He initially came to look over the prospective job and called us back later that day with an estimate which I thought was in the ball park for the amount of work needed. He said that he would start working on that Thursday - Tuesday. I was really surprised when he showed up on Thursday considering we were in the middle of a snow storm... and he was finished on Saturday. We thought they did a very good job so we recommended them to our neighbor. We will be using Danny again in the future.

James came to do the estimate he was very pleasant and informative. Danny and his crew came to do the job. They were great! Danny addressed any concerns I had. All areas were protected by dropclothes, all work was done in an excellent manner by the crew. The ceilings had an old fashioned stucco look that needed to be changed. The skim coated ceilings look amazing! The rest of the place looks amazing too! They did a great job! The job took three days. On the final day they mopped the floors and did a great job cleaning up! Over all everything went smoothly and the place looks great! I would highly recommend Danny, James and the crew if you've got a painting project! <br />

Danny came all meetings on time. <br /> He listened to me and understood what I am trying to do. He advised on couple of points but in general he provided what I needed. <br /> He finished the job on the day he promised even though there was no heat due to a boiler hiccup. <br /> I felt the service migh be little more expensive than the overall market and what I was expecting. The quality of the finished work is superb. He was very reachable and my communication with him was effective. <br /> He was professional, the job was done as promised and the area they left was clean. <br /> I will reach out Danny for my future painitng jobs. <br />
