I would like to start with that this is my worst experience with a business in my 47 years of life. I usually do not write reviews, but I feel strongly that everyone should know that your furniture and house is at risk if you use this company. And they will not reimburse you fully for the repairs or damaged furniture. Aurthur F came out to our house to review the needs of our move. He promised us a team of professionals who would handle our furniture and home with care and use hanger boxes for all our hanging clothes. This was not the case. The team of four showed up two and a half hours late on the first day. They were already sweating from been sent on a job early in the morning. We were supposed to start between 7 and 9 as this was supposed to be a two day move. One of the team members did not speak english, the crew leader on him were frequently fraustrated with each other. I would have to get google translate out to help them communicate in order to get the first part of the move done that day. I expected to leave between 5 and 7 p.m. to start the drive to our new home. They were supposed to clean after they were done but since they were running so late, I cleaned as I had to take pictures of the empty house as we sold to Open Door. We finished at 10 p.m., they were loading my items in the dark on the truck and just throwing stuff on there. They did not wrap our fridge or outside furniture as it was getting late, which I did not see until they arrived at our new home. I confirmed with them they were to arrive in Arkansas around 1 p.m. the next day and they said yes. The next day they showed up at the new home at 5:30 p.m. with two different members. The crew looked exhausted and said they were sent by their operations manager to another job that morning. We expected our furniture to be unloaded ton that day and so we did not have beds or anything. We asked them to unload some furniture into our garage in order to get to the beds and told them to come back in the morning. They agreed as they were exhausted. In the morning, after they started unloading is when we started to notice all the damage to the furniture, tvs, mirrors and artwork. We took pictures of everything. On top of many pieces being damaged, they were damaging our brand new home as they were bringing the larger items in. The two new people seemed to have very little experience in moving and seemed to have been taken off the street and the two of the crew who remained the same could not communicate as I still had to use google translate to get them to understand each other. They caused so much damage to our new house, I asked them to stop bringing furniture in and place it in the garage. My wife had a mental breakdown and had to leave because of all the damage. They finished unloading and left only after 5 hours, it took over 10 hours to load the truck. We went in to survey the damage and found damage to the new wood floor where they dragged broken furniture across the floor. They broke the dry wall in the entry way, damaged the wood stairs going up to the second floor and put many more dents, scraches, and marks in the walls all over the house. All told I had to replaced all the outside furniture, 3 bedroom sets, 2 tvs, 2 mirrors, artwork and lamps which we will receive very little reimbursement from them. It cost $7kk out of pocket to replace it all. In regards to the house damage, I have spent 2 and a half months calling 10 businesses to get 5 estimates. Setting up walkthroughs on multiple days. Always being told by All-Start Van Lines that the repairs are too expensive for our brand new home and we needed to get it lower. They have offered only a partial amount to fix the thousands of dollars needed to repair the home. This is still not resolved as they refuse to pay full repair costs. Update Jan 2024 - settlement agreed to

All-Star Van Lines are horrible in every way possible when it comes to moving your property and your valuables. I hired All-Star to pack, store and move my entire household and paid them very well for that effort. What I did not expect was how careless, wreck, and disrespectful their employees and entire organization would treat me and my possessions. Immediately a clock was broken and that was funny to the movers. On top of that, they did not pack up everything and left an entire room untouched that I had to return and pack on my own. They also left an antique toy fire truck that was very valuable high upon a ledge. I was recovering from surgery and asked them to go back to get it. The foreman did get the truck and texted my confirmation. The only problem was he STOLE it and I never saw it again. Jason at All-Star could care less. He wont replace or pay for items that his employees STOLE from (again I can prove this). The next step was the delivery of my furniture and possession which went fairly smoothly other than some damaged items and a broken TV. Listen, I understand things can get bumped, damaged, or broken ok. What I do not understand is Jason and Misty at ALL Star telling me too badly. I never asked for money. I asked for the damaged tables to be repaired, the TV to be replaced and the STOLEN items to be replaced. Instead, Jason is offering me the following: 65-inch TV - $30 ($1200 value), Antique toy that his employee stole - $12 ($1100 value), Broken wall clock - $12 ($200 value). He has zero empathy or remorse for lost, broken, or STOLEN items and his only response is this is all I am legally obligated to do Oh yeah on top of that it's been 5 months and I still do not have a check for the above settlement because I won't sign a waiver stating I won't post honest reviews or press charges for stolen items. Yes, that's right Jason Elmore and All-Star Van Lines are trying to force me to sign a waiver that says agree to refrain from posting any negative feedback about our services online or file lawsuits to pay the above amounts for damaged and STOLEN items. I am happy to share pics, texts, and emails proving ALL the above. Jason Elmore and Misty Way with ALL Star Van Lines are dishonest and cold-hearted. PS. I have asked upper management to respond or call but either they do not care or Misty and Jason have done a great job of blocking that communication. My gut tells me that this is a top-down attitude and the ownership does not care about anything other than $$$$.

"We would like to, first of all, apologize for any inconvenience this client has experienced using our services. Unfortunately in our line of work damages are an unfortunate part of the job and even with our best efforts to avoid these things from happening, we will come across these situations once in a while. This client moved into our storage facility for roughly a month and it seems like one of his items was not delivered. This does not mean the item was stolen. Human error can result in an item going missing by potentially being delivered to a different client or stacked next to a different job. This is a very rare occurrence and honestly, the first time since we opened our doors that something like this happened. There were a few damaged items as the client states and we offered to reimburse more than six times the legal amount. The dollar amounts the client lists are the legal $0.60 per pound per item figures which we heavily multiplied in order to provide the client with the best possible resolution. Unfortunately, this customer has unrealistic expectations from a moving company and expects us to replace/repair any and all items that they feel are missing or have damage done to them. The client refused to purchase additional coverage when provided with three different options during the initial in-home visit. They signed the basic liability coverage of $0.60 per pound per item but are demanding that we replace his belongings when full-value replacement coverage was never purchased. If moving companies just went around replacing every item that was damaged/missing there would be no moving companies at all. It simply does not work that way and the reason that insurance companies exist. We have offered this client much more than any other moving company would have in this situation but it is still not good enough for them. We are sorry that we were not able to reach a resolution and will refuse to provide moving services to this client in the future."

God forbid I ever have to move again! I pray this was my last time! But if I do; I will hire All Star Van Lines again. Arthur and Misty provided the best customer service I have seen anywhere in quite some time. Misty was there every time I called with my mostly silly nervous questions. This move was in the wake of a bad divorce and Misty and Arthur basically took my hand and kept me calm through the entire move. They sent me a terrific moving crew and they did a great job of caring for and moving my things. I never could have done these things on my own, and don't have people to help me out. I am extremely thankful for these guys making my moving experience a good one. Thanks All Star; you guys really live up to your name and reputation!

I had to move my things around recently because of flooding during the winter storm. The whole situation was a nightmare! I had to stack all of my things into one room and live in less than optimal conditions. All of this on the back of the pandemic was extremely stressful to say the least! I had to look for a mover to move my things into storage while my place was refurbished. I found All Star on Google and gave them a call. They really give a nice experience. They send someone out ahead of time for pricing, the movers really know what they are doing and are super nice to deal with. It was obvious that they were professionals. They really did an excellent job to say the least! They moved my things into their storage (the storage was free by the way), and back into my home when it was ready. I would definitely use them again anytime!

Had them move my items from Dallas to Fairfax, VA. Pickup was on time and delivery was within a day of what I requested! Super cool and I absolutely loved the efficiency and honesty throughout the entire process.

The guys were nice and courteous. We had considerable damage to furniture and appliances. Not to mention, the contract was not explained properly and we paid $1200.00 more than anticipated. Like most movers, there were hidden fees.

"First of all we would like to apologize for any inconvenience this client may have experienced during their relocation. We would like to note for public record that the initial estimate given to the customer was for $5,812. She ended up paying $4,663 which is actually $1,149 less than the initial estimate. We have spoken with her many times on separate occasions explaining all of the legitimate charges but for some reason it just would not make sense to her. We are assuming she is confusing a different quote from a different moving company. We tried everything and did our best to accommodate any requests as we always do with all of our customers. The service we provided was top notch and went above and beyond to earn her satisfaction. We wish Carol all the best in her new home."
