This was a big deal purchase. We probably did not need the service, so it was not a good value. To my knowledge they did the service correctly. Our ducts were not dirty. My wife thought they were worse than they were.

Air duct cleaning is clearly just an attempt for them to up-sell you on their other services. Scare tactics galore, telling you how air duct cleaning will be worthless without their services at outrageously inflated prices.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. It is a bait and switch scam.
I bought a groupon to inspect and clean my HVAC system through All States Air Duct Pro that apparently subcontracts to Duct City, unknown to me and others. When they came out, they said I had mold in the system. The way they did the testing for mold was very sketchy. I think they went to their truck and used a test kit that already showed mold. Unfortunately, they told me in front of my tenants and said it was black mold which is very harmful to health, so I agreed to have the cleaning performed at $699. They supposedly cleaned the entire unit including the blower motor. It came with a 5 year warranty and free cleaning each year for 5 years. Fast forward 6 months... My AC stopped working and when the repair man came out, he said it stopped working because of "lack of maintenance" and which meant it wasn't cleaned in years. He took pictures to prove it. I got a 2nd and 3rd opinion and then had it cleaned and repaired. I called All States Air Duct Pro and Duct City several times over the course of 3 weeks- No answer. My home warranty company denied my claim because of the "lack of maintenance" comment from the repair man. When I finally reached Duct City to ask why they claimed to clean it, when they didn't. Duct City apologized and offered to come out and clean it again. I told them that it was too late. I had to pay a different company to clean the HVAC and replace the blower motor, since nobody answered the phone from Duct City for 2 weeks. Oren from Duct City kept saying that he would speak to the supervisor to refund my money, since i didn't want the 6 year warranty that he was offering (I already had 5 year warranty with my original service). He said somebody would call me last Thursday, but did not. I've since called and emailed several times, but no answer. Now I am stuck out of pocket $699 for the cleaning that did not occur and $580 for the 2nd cleaning and replacement of the blower motor. When I finally spoke to All States Air Duct Pro, after weeks of emails and phone calls, they said that they subcontracted to Duct City and Duct City kept all the money and provided bad service to customers. They wanted me to contact Duct City instead of living up to the warranty that was provided according to the invoice from All States Air Duct Pro. So far there has been no resolution. Terrible customer service
Do not use this company. It is a front for a scam.
It went well, the ducts needed cleaned badly. After the initial cleaning, there is an every 6 months check-up that was included for a number of years.

That went well. They did ask about doing some extra work on the furnace but I told them that it was just a brand new furnace. They seem to be professional.

The service was extremely expensive. I had to do something at the last minute and I was not happy with the work at all. I don't think I will ever go back to them again.

I purchased the Big Deal for air duct cleaning. It turned out to be an excuse for All States Air Duct Pro to come to my house and hard sell me an expensive mold remediation treatment, which I stupidly fell for. After the workmen left, the registers, which they had removed to clean the air ducts, started falling out of the vent openings. They told me I would receive a follow-up call a few months after the service. No one ever called me. I bitterly regret my decision to purchase this Angie's List Big Deal.

This company is a bunch of scammers. Within five minutes of arriving they told me I had mold in my unit and needed $1200 worth of mold remediation and duct scrubbing. When I said no the price magically dropped to $799 on the spot. I still said no and Steve hands me the phone so I can talk to his boss to get a better deal. The boss tells me he will drop the price again to $429 since they are already there but that does not include a five year guarantee that the mold will not return. I say no again and ask that they do what they came to do. That's when it got worse. They plugged in their equipment which blew a fuse and the GFI causing a spark in my outlet. They use a big vacuum to go about 8 inches into each air vent and vacuum and are done before you know it. The whole time my front door is wide open and it's 40 degrees outside. They seem super mad that I am it doing their mold remediation as suggested and keep telling me that the air my family is breathing is not safe. Finally they leave. Then we realize they messed up our furnace and it's not working correctly. Great. Awesome. Horrible experience.
A two-man team worked very efficiently to remove each vent cover and vacuum inside the vent openings throughout the townhouse. One man removed the vent covers while the other man vacuumed inside the vent openings. No problems with how they worked but I think there are other companies who perform a more thorough cleaning of ductwork using other methods. This company did a superficial cleaning and worked very quickly. In and out within an hour.

We had had a new kitchen put in and then a year later, we had had our kitchen floor redone and basement repaired after a flood in our house. Water from our washer had flooded the kitchen and laundry room and then flowed through the floor into the basement theater room and rec room. We had to have a new (porcelain) tile floor put in upstairs and new paint and carpeting throughout the basement. The work for the new kitchen and then the flood required a huge amount of sanding, spackling and more sanding...etc. The dust in our house was a big problem afterwards from the spackle dust that accumulated in our ducts. We decided to have our ducts cleaned and found All States on Angie's list. It went great! They were on time, conversant about the state of our ducts. They did the job. I have noticed that the air is better in the house and we have much less dust on furniture! Very happy with their services and I would definitely hire them again.
