The Almada Roofing Co started in 1972 with Gilbert Almada Sr. Struggling to make ends meat for his family, he started a small, roofing company with his three sons from the back of his old truck. Since that day, the Almada Roofing Co has thrived and is now owned and oporated by his son Gilbert Almada jr. Alone, Gilbert Almada has a total of 25 years in the business. Price was very fair. Over all workmanship was good. there were a few areas on the roof that were just filled in with concrete which you could see from the ground. The peaks were filled in with grey concrete - it looked horrible. I asked several times and was told someone would come and paint the areas to match the roof tile (I even got the paint). No responses to my emails. I finally hired a house painter to cover the gray areas on the red roof - it looks so much better. I was out of the state when job was completed so I didn't notice the gray areas until I came back into town 4 months later. Unfortunately, all my attempts to contact Gilbert, the owner, have gone unanswered. I would not recommend this company.

It was ok until I needed him to come back and finish some of the work that was not done right. I am selling the house and the buyers house inspector found a couple issues with his work and getting him to come back and fix those issues is very frustrating. My real estate agent has called many times and we keep getting told things will be fixed and then he doesn't show up. Almada roofing does ok work at a good price, but is terribly unreliable after the job was done. I had the original roofing job done in Dec 1015, and I saw a hole that they did not cover and it took 2 months for them to come back and fix it. Now I am closing on the house in a few weeks and I will probably have to hire another roofing company to fix what they left behind.

At first, the service provider was very professional and compliant. He took a while to get started which became a scary situation as my roof was leaking. My roof has an overhang, which I'm not even sure if I got charged for as I had to debate with him whether it was included or not. He never even fixed one of the leaks and he charged me more than he initially quoted. There was also supposed to be a coupon from Angie's List that I don't think he ever applied.

The first payment was given to him on August 8th , 2015 and the second payment was on September 9th, 2015. We found some problems in the roof when we had an inspection. I called the company and sent him a picture. He called me back the first time and then he said he was going to come out and fix it but he did not. I have tried to call, text and get hold of him for quite a while. I heard that he was sick so I gave him the benefit of the doubt. He gave me a warranty, but I don't feel that it is good, considering he never showed up to fix the problem. I even offered to pay him for his extra work. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

He showed promptly inspected the roof, took pictures showed us exactly the problems, some broken tiles, some that had slipped and some problems around vents. Gave us a written estimate at a fair price, showed up when he said he would replaced numerous tiles re nailed the loose ones fixed the vents took pictures of all work performed, very satisfied with the work performed would use him again if we have any more problems with our roof <br />

The provider took pictures of all conditions and showed me the problems. He proposed a solution and we agreed on a reasonable price. He came back within a couple of days and removed the old tile, replaced the underlayment on a portion of the roof, and repaired the hole. He then took more pictures after the repairs had been made, including installing bird spikes so that they couldn't continue to nest in that area. I was very pleased with the results. <br />

Gilbert Almada and his crew are efficient and professional. From the moment they arrived to look over the roof and provide the estimate, to the completion of the job, I was very impressed. I appreciate that they are honest - I felt that they addressed my problem without suggesting unnecessary repairs. <br /> <br />I highly recommend Almada Roofing. Although I am selling this home, if I had another roofing need in the future I would definitely use this company again.

Gilbert and his crew did a fantastic job. They were punctual and completed the work fast. It looks so good and now water should not come into the house when it rains! Gilbert is a very honest contractor, something that is not the norm in the big city, we will always call him first if our roof is in need and will refer him to all of our family and friends. Thanks so much Gilbert, it was a real pleasure to meet you.

<p>Gilbert Armada Roofing was my 3rd estimate. I wasn't home the day he came for inspection but my brother-in-law was there to meet him and was very impressed with Mr. Armada's manner, his professional inspection and also impressed that Mr. Armada found things and pointed out items that the other two inspectors did not (or they overlooked). Once I made my decision the repairs and services were performed according to my schedule, on time, no delays, no rescheduling and best of all, NO MESS left behind. Prices for the job were very competitive. I hired Gilbert Armada Roofing based more on a feeling of trust in a stranger than price and I wasn't disappointed. I will be contacting Gilbert Armada Roofing to continue maintaining my roof in the future.</p>

<p>I was referred to Almada Roofing by a friend so I figured I would at least get an estimate. Their estimate was the lowest out of 5 total estimates, so I went with them. Almada roofing did quality work, showed up on time as promised, kept us informed of the progress and were actually done ahead of schedule without costing us any extra money. THEY DID EXACTLY WHAT THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO DO, WORKED FAST AND EFFICIENTLY. I HAVE BEEN HAPPY WITH ALL WORK COMPLETED.
