It didn't go well. There were branches hanging over my garage. When they were removing the branches, the arms of their cherry picker slammed down and left a huge crack in my driveway. I called the guy we spoke to originally (Ion Mitchell), but when i spoke to him on July 10th he was going to come by and look at it then call me back. He never called back. My new driveway is now ruined due to this.

I hired them to trim trees for the home I home for my mother back in May. We agreed on a price in cash. The workers came the day of service to trim two trees in the backyard and one in the front. I met them at the house and they had finished one of the back two trees and a lot was removed, worrying my mother. I gave them the cash, figuring they would continue to do a good job. The foreman refused to give a receipt cause it was cash, I thought odd but then left. I might as well have just told them to leave. The second tree was barely touched from the moment I paid. They then did the front tree and similarly, trimmed a bit off the bottom and away from the house but not through out the tree or any of the top. They said they could trim bushes and cut them in half instead. My Mom pointed out the back two trees are visibly uneven and he snidely said she should have told him before they packed up. I have pictures of the uneven trees and reported to the owner, who acted concerned my mother was talked to as such, but never returned a call or followed up. No honor as a company all around, will definitely tell others to not use.

Better than expected. They left the area clean of all debris. Their estimate was lower than a local competitor and because of the positive reviews on Angie's List we went with this firm.

Spoke with Almighty Tree Service and got a very reasonable estimate on a Monday. By Wednesday 11 am the tree was gone and the yard was perfectly clean. They showed up about 7:30 am the work morning and prepared the site. What I can tell you is that they were very professional. The price was reasonable and the crew very efficient and worked well together. They were in and out in less than 3 hours. The tree was easily 80+ years old and hollowed in some part. It was located in between a fence and a tall structure. They used a huge crane and the owner and operator was incredible when he removed the very large trunk. Every single branch that was cut came down in an exact precise location. Very happy with the job. Will I call then back again, probably next month to do some additional work. We have used several other tree services in the past and this is the one we intend to use in the future.

They were on time and worked on a Saturday. The team was conscientious and clean. The work was performed as promised, and was done in a safe and effective manner. But amazingly after the entire process (which was an all day affair, the trees were huge), my property was spotless, as was my neighbors where some branches and dust fell. I was shocked at how everything was cleaned up. Great job. Would happily use them again and recommend them.

They were very careful w/ maze if power lines and cable, etc. Strapped each limb and carefully lowered it , where few men w/ chainsaws cut them up and fed into wood chipper. Ground stump and left grindings to fill the large hole left! My neighbors were so Impressed, they immediately requested their services for dead tree removal for Monday September 1st (tomorrow). He obtains license from town quickly and gets a perfect job done. Amazing ALMIGHTY! More neighbors have asked about prices. The lowest free estimate and cost exactly that amount. Other tree removal companies on Angie's list were exactly twice as much and wanted to drop branches AND disconnect cable lines etc. Almighty needed access to tree and put down flat wood to protect our lawn from wheels. They also cleaned up BEAUTIFULLY! Will hire again, as another large oak over house will die next. They were prompt and professional, as well as VERY POLITE! We have had a few people in the neighborhood ask about their prices. Neighbors very interested in hiring Almighty Tree Service.

They came on a Sunday to give us an estimate.  Went on Monday to apply for permit from City and on Tuesday came with a large crew and needed machinery and took care of everything.  Cleaning up the lawns, driveway, walkways and street before the left.  Once of my neighbors asked for the wood chips from the job to use as mulch and they not only agreed to his request they spread it out for him where he wanted it.  I would definitely recommend them and use them myself again. <br />

They were excellent from first call for estimate to completion of work two days later.  I called them from my office with my property address and asked for estimate to remove two large dead trees and grind stumps.  They were in the area and called me two hours later with an estimate I could not believe--$750.  Any other tree service we've used in the past would easily have charged double that.  When they arrived two days later to do the job, we asked about the additional pruning.  Again, incredibly fair price for that work.  They were on site for 1 1/2 hours, did all work as agreed and left my property immaculate.  They were courteous, professional and could not have been nicer.  I recommend them to all who want professional, top-notch work done at the most unimaginably low prices available.  My husband and I are fans! <br />

They cleaned up the property for a very, very good deal. They are excellent in every way.

They are great. They are on time with all their work. They have a good price and they are willing to work with us on the prices. They went beyond what I expected. They helped us cut some of the woods for firewood. We had used them before though and they are just a really good bunch of people. They are very professional. We look forward to use their service again in the future. We have used them even before we had Angie's List. They are really good. I have used a lot of tree people to have a lot of trees stumped, trimmed, taken down or whatever and Almighty Tree Experts was the best. I have also recommended them to quite a few people.

Two trees were immediately taken down. Owner did not provide written estimate until one hour later when I was leaving to pick up my car which needed servicing, saying I would be back in 15 minutes. Then, he DEMANDED payment in full even before I got the written estimate, saying he had to leave right then. His partner wrote up an estimate which I had no time to look at. The service station driver was waiting so I wrote the check in full. As soon as he got the check, he and his partner left, leaving his crew. They immediately sent someone for pizza and had a party up at the pool for 1 1/2 hours. They took down only the smallest tree, removed the branches from the pool and pruned the other pine. 2 trees were left untouched. Calls to the owner went unanswered. <br /> After no response for 5 days, I stopped payment on the check. The owner didn't contact me until he received notice from his bank. <br /> Only then, he called 3 times in one day, the last was after I was asleep. Two hangups and then an angry message about how dare I stop payment. I wrote a letter and reissued another check for the work completed, less the a small charge for the 10 wheelbarrows full of small branches his unsupervised crew did not bother to clean up and to replace the stones at the end of a stone wall his crew knocked out of the cement. <br /> I mailed this priority mail and had a receipt. The owner showed up the next morning saying he has reported me to the police for theft of services. He was angry, belligerent and demanded $ right then. I showed him the receipt for the letter and told him I enclosed for the work completed. This was not good enough. Did not listen to anything I said, but got angrier and refused to return the receipt. <br /> I finally asked if he was threatening me and he said that I threatened him when I called about the 2 trees not taken down, that he has it on tape to prove it. I repeated that he will get the letter and check in today's mail. He finally gave me back the receipt and left. <br /> I am a great grandma and hard of hearing. This man is intimidating, dishonest and pulled the classic bait and switch tactic. How annoyed he was that I dared to stop him from cheating me! I was frightened by his behavior when he showed up on my property and wonder if he is mentally stable. <br /> <br /> I live in an antique colonial with extensive property. Even with my hearing problems, I have contracted for many thousands of dollars of work. I have never had someone refuse to make good on a job not done properly or even not providing an upfront estimate. <br /> Hurricane Sandy caused enormous damages to trees and most companies are just catching up non on non emergency storm damage. The tree services I usually use still have a prioritized backlog of 3 months. <br /> To summarize, the estimate for the work described was not given to me before the job was started, the owner left their crew but wanted to be paid in full before the job was completed. I had to demand the written estimate which was vague and incorrect. Owner did not respond to my telephoned complaint. Owner reported me to the police 1 day after he received notice from his bank about stopped payment. Owner refused to acknowledge that perhaps he made a mistake and did not want to listen that I sent him a letter and payment for services actually completed. <br />

They did an outstanding job. I can't say enough about the owner. He really went above and beyond.

They were great. They were very good. It was a big eight foot limb. They came with the crane, took the large branch down and also grounded up. It was during the big storm so everyone was inundated with taking the tree removals down. I told them that we were flexible and that they could come whenever. I told them we didn't have to be home, that they could come in the backyard and they were eager to do it. They are a husband and wife team. They have their own machines so they didn't have to outsource anything. They came, did it I think under an hour and they were done.

Estimate was given. Set an appointment and came on time. Promptly cut down tree and removed it. Cleaned up area. Pleased with the work. <br />

I emailed Almighty to request a free estimate for the removal of the tree and recevied a prompt response from Kim followed by visit from Ian (owners of the company). Ian agreed that removing the tree was the right thing to do because of size and stability and looked at all options for accessing the tree in my yard. He determined the best option was to access the tree with a crane from in front of my neighbors house and to bring the sections over thier yard and into the street in front of their house for grinding. I recevied an immediate quote from Ian which was considerably less than I had been told to expect from others who had used other tree services in the area. It was determined that we would have to bring the stump chipper into the yard with the crane as well which added a slight and reasonable amount to the job quote. Ian offered to go with me to my neighbors home to explain the request to park the crane on his lawn but the neighbor wasn't home at the time. I did get my neighbors approval and Kim facilitated my getting a copy of Almighty's insurance information to them prior to job starting. I approved the work on a Saturday and Almighty scheduled it for the upcoming Wednesday. When the weather forecast called for rain on that day we rescheduled for Thursday. <br /> On the day of the service Almighty showed up promptly as scheduled and got to work immediately. Never having seen this size tree taken down I was amazed at how they worked and how simple they made it look. The whole process took around 2 hours to take down the tree and maybe another half hour to get the stump grinder into the yard and to grind down the stump. The crew was extremely professional and made quick and fairly quiet work of grinding the sections into the wood chipper. I was also impressed how they made sure to quickly make room for cars that had to get down the dead end street to their homes after dropping the sections in the road. <br /> Last I would mention that one feeling I recall of the experience is the amount of comfort I felt in dealing with Ian. It was a stressful thought having a crane on my neighbor's property and moving a tree over his home but to Ian it was just another day on the job. He assured me he would leave my neighbors property cleaner than it was when he got there and he delivered on that as well. When I told him how impressed I was at how quickly he removed the tree Ian's answer was, and quot; I've been doing it for a long time.and quot; <br /> I asked Ian if he could do something to remove some of the roots out of my neighbors yard as a favor that I would pay for and Ian had that taken care of at no extra charge. <br /> Overall the experience exceeded all expectations. <br />

The experience was very good. They came on time and did more than I expected in many ways. They had a great crew, as well and the right equipment.
