<p>We are remodeling our kitchen and main bath, and were looking for nice granite counters on a budget..We interviewed four other countertop installers before we found Alpha Stone Works. . Their bids were pretty much the same, and we weren't really impressed with any of the granite choices in our price range. Then we checked out Alpha Stone Works. Jay was a pleasure to work with. His bid was similar to the others, but he included free sinks and backsplashes that made his prices more attractive. Then he showed us some quartz remnants they had in the shop and offered them to us as an upgrade to the basic granite at a price we couldn't resist. Two weeks later, our new quartz counters are installed and they look great. </p> <p>UPDATE-Nov.11, 2014. Based on my good experience with them, I recommended Alpha Stone Works last month to a friend who needed new kitchen counters. He ordered granite counters for his kitchen counters and center island. They were a week late in installing them, and the job was very poorly done. Looked like a poor job of measuring the counter top pieces, and a worse job of installation. They promised to make it right, but didn't. And per my friend, they no longer return his calls. I personally viewed the job they did for him, and was shocked. So, in spite of the good job this company did for me, I cannot recommend them now, and have changed my ratings accordingly.<br /> <br /></p>

We were so impressed by the quality of work,  concern about customer satisfaction,  professionalism, and ease of working with the people at Alpha Stoneworks  that we can recommend dealing with them with no reservations...and that's saying a lot! <br /> Jay was our customer representative and helped us with professionalism, enthusiasm, and  answers to all our questions.  There was a delay in getting our countertops that was not the fault of Alpha Stone Works. iIt was due to a snowstorm in the North where our Cambria quartz shipment originated ).  Both Jay and Chris kept on top of the situation and kept us informed.  They were very concerned about our satisfaction and did everything they could to speed up the order once the shipment arrived.  <br /> Chris, the owner of the company, made the template and it fit perfectly .  The countertops truly look beautiful! <br /> We could not be happier with our experience with this company and are looking forward to  working  with them again on our bathroom cabinet tops. <br />

Alpha Stone Works did a fantastic job supplying and installing Carrara marble countertops for our kitchen and 2 bath vanities. <br /> The quality of the marble is beautiful, and the installation process was extremely professional. <br /> Their price was among the lowest we received. <br /> Chris has been great to deal with. He measured, made the templates, and had a lot of helpful insight and advice. <br /> John and Mike handled most of the installation, and they are masters of their craft. <br /> Next time we are in need of stone work, we will definitely call Alpha. <br />

The custom cabinet makers who originally built our cabinets were contracted to build a kitchen island unit with a granite top.  Despite very long delays, they finished island was beautifully done - but they kept delaying and saying "no one" could match the Crema Bordeaux granite we had in the size we needed.  This went on from March to early April with no results.  I finally got fed up and searched for granite providers in the Pinellas County area.  Chris at Alpha Stone Works was the first to call back (I saw his reviews on Angie's List).  He told me he had seen a pretty large selection that morning that he thought would go well with the pictures of our existing counters I sent him.  He sent us to Mont Krest stonework on 102nd in Pinellas Park.  I have seen and bought a lot of stone over the years but have never seen a place like this.  Beautiful showroom and a large stone area with some of the most unique slabs of stone I have seen.  We picked a half-slab, called Chris and he picked up the stone, did a template of our island and cut, finished and installed the stone in less than a week.  Very happy with the work and company. <br />

<p>Chris was the gentleman who provided the service.  We needed a specific piece of granite for our buffet piece and he was able to find us what we wanted.   I told him that we were having company on Palm Sunday and it would be nice to be able to have it installed by then (this was just 10 days before).  I told him that I understood that it was short notice so if he could not do it by then, perhaps before Easter.  Chris said, "Palm Sunday it is".   He came the next day and did the templating and had it installed on the day before Palm Sunday.   I would recommend this company because I think they went above and beyond to provide the service we requested.</p>

Chris did all the measuring himself. Was excellent matching the granite patterns and hiding the seam on the one countertop. The fireplace was to have a seam in the travertine and he was able to cut and install in one piece....it is beautiful! We had three proposals and Chris was the middle priced..but, really glad we spent the extra money and choice him. He will be doing our bathrooms this fall! Great to work with!

Chris was great to work with. He installed granite kitchen counters and wet bar area, which turned out beautiful. He is fantastic matching patterns in the granite. We also had him install a fireplace surround in Travertine that he was able to keep in one piece, which was a real surprise and absolutely beautiful. Pete made a cabinet for underneath the wet bar. Everything looks really nice. Chris' estimate was not the less expensive, but, really happy we choose him. Will be having him back to do the bathrooms in the fall. <br />

The granite countertops were ready in less than 10 days.  The countertops were beautifull cut and installed.  The staff who came to do the installation were efficient and polite.  They cleaned up after the work was completed.  There was no mess left behind. <br />

Chris gave the estimate and then performed the work as planned.  He was very patient and answered all my questions and concerns.  We thought he did an excellent job and was very professional.  We are getting ready to build and hoping to hire Chris again! <br />

He did an excellent job, cutting, giving recommendations, and he protects the customers. He did a great job on the sealing process; he is also very courteous, and fair. He is just a great person to work with.

Excellent - Would definately refer Chris and Alpha Stone Works (this is the Alpha Stone Works on 66th St in Pinellas Park).   There is another granite company with similar name I know nothing about <br />

We remodeled our kitchen & half bath In our condo. The first contractor we had was horrible. He hired family members to do work instead of qualified licensed contractors. Because we did I not live in the condo, we did not know what was going on until we showed up. We hired a new contractor & cabinet company who set us up with Chris @ Alpha Stone.

After interviewing several fabricators, we chose Chris to help us complete our bath.  He helped us pick the material, design the counter top and design some special requests.  Chris was able to work with us on some unique design requests and made everything beautiful.  Because of design and delivery issues with our cabinet maker, we had to delay the project and even have pieces installed in stages.  Chris was patient and worked with our schedule.  He has his staff were clean, professional and trustworthy.  I felt so comfortable with Chris that I even left him on his own to work.  I was never disappointed.  It was obvious that Chris listens to what you need in design and price and work with you.  You feel like you are his priority.  He was punctual and did not disappoint.  I would recommend Chris for any job, big or small.

Very excellent, great attention to detail

Chris was extremity professional, providing us guidance on stone selection and finish edging. Alpha Stone Works uses an exceptionally fine final hand polish and it makes a big difference. The counter really does have an outstanding shine. Our kitchen countertop still looks brand new. Chris truly loves his work and it shows. He took care to find the nicest looking part of the stone we selected and took great care with the fit and installation. I keep his card taped inside my kitchen cabinets so I can easily find him again when it's time to do another stone project. I highly recommend Alpha Stone Works!

Chris was conscientious and meticulous about his work. He was professional and punctual. He turns out a quality product. I felt like I was part of the process. My countertops were more than I expected.

Chris's work was impeccable. He was on time and left no mess. This was my first experience with granite and Chris walked my wife and I through many of the questions we had. The result was fantastic. Chris uses a finer grit sanding than most granite finishers and I must say that the results show. We have called him again for a bathroom counter backslash, and I will call him again and again if I need any more granite.
