About us
We run a full service family plumbing business based out of Stanwood, WA. We do use sub contractors to perform work that we do not handle ourselves such as electrical, flooring and or wall finisher and building needs. We are licensed bonded and insured our license # is ALPINPS907J7. We do not charge a trip fee to travel to your home, unless you are out of our calling area, we cover from North Seattle to Camano Island. Our service rates are as follows; $95.00 for 1st half hour - $24.50 for each addtional 15 minutes after that. If we are at your home for one hour, 1st hour is $144.00, any additional full hour drops down to $98.00.

We had two hot water tanks, one was leaking at 3:30pm on a Friday. We called Alpine and they were at our house in under an hour! They drained the leaking tank and re-routed the pipes so we could continue to use the one tank. Later that week they came back and replace the other 15 year old tank with 1 high efficiency and a circulator pump. Rick and crew were awesome! We will use them again for any plumbing needs.

Alpine and the contractor (EKG) worked together on the schedule, kept us informed at the end of each day as to what would happen next. When we hit a bump along the way (38 yr old house) they worked together to make changes in the schedule and get the work done. The end result... beautiful and exactly what we wanted.

Owner rick complained about the difficulty of work. His son also works the business. Was provided quote to install a house water shut off based on a 100 yard distance to the main. Turned out access was just in front of the house they still charged the original amount quoted, even though they didn't use all materials brought for the job or take nearly as long to do the job They charged over $200 to fix a leaky toilet guasket - couldn't get the correct part ordered or installed until after multiple visits. I finally got the part number and gave it to them They are also training an apprentice and charged an additional $12/hr for him to stand around and occasionally fetch a tool

I called around to local plumbers to check prices, and Alpine had the best prices and best reviews, so I asked them to come and fix the leaking toilet in our newly installed bathroom. It was a fairly slow leak, which I told Juanita when I spoke with her on the phone, so I had to wait a few days, as they were already pretty booked. They did manage to fit us in on Friday, instead of making us wait until Monday, which I appreciated. They came promptly at the time scheduled and replaced the piece of pipe connecting to the toilet valve, which had a flat spot from where the previous contractor had installed the toilet a few months before. They were quick, professional and tidy, as well as very reasonably priced. <br /> We were so happy with their response and work that we called them again to connect a second new toilet, which they did for their minimum charge. Again, they were punctual and professional. I would definitely use them again, and have their number handy for future use! <br />

This was a long process for us, with Rick providing a full estimate several months ago. Due to various tenant complications we were not able to implement the repair until recently. After additional review, fewer repairs were needed than we originally thought and we appreciate Alpine being flexible in responding to the job specifications. "I'm sure that there must have been some misunderstanding. A more appropriate way to handle this would have been to call the office when it first happened. The work we performed was completed a year ago this last April. We are also confused as to why you called us approximately a month and a half ago to have us do more work at a discounted rate. We value our customers concerns, but are confused at why if there was a problem you didn't contact, us instead of handling it in this manner."

Things went really well. Rick knows his stuff and communicates really well with folks like myself who has very limited knowledge in plumbing issues. They really helped us out as we were moving into a new place and the water in our well had some bacterial issues. We were uncomfortable with our 2 year old and baby drinking the water so we bought a UV water sterilizer system and needed it to be installed. Rick and his team were super busy but moved a few things around to help us out given our emergency situation of living in our new home without drinkable water. He even found an electrician to help with our electrical issues at the well and he also did great work. On top of that the price was reasonable! All in all Alpine provides great work, great service and most of all they are great people. Not only do we recommend them but we will use them for all our plumbing needs! <br />
