"We tore off the old roofs and installed our base, ply IV and SBS cap roofing system (BUR) on 5 buildings containing 20,400 sq. ft. Our estimator/project manager David, had to negotiate with the insurance adjuster because the adjuster failed to measure all of the roof areas. We completed the project in 10 days and while we used a low odor asphalt (less sulphur) it still puts out bad smelling fumes. Thanks very much for the "A" review!"
"Wow! Thanks so much for taking the time to post a review. Billy and Chelsea are tremendous assets to our company and it's great to have you acknowledge them."
"We tore off the old built up roof and installed our thermoplastic olefin (TPO) single ply roofing system by Carlisle. We also replaced 4 drains and had our HVAC contractor remove and reinstall 2 HVAC systems so the roofing work could be done properly. The new roof is warranted by Carlisle for 20 years and we warranty the roof from leaking for 12 years. Thanks for taking the time to post a review."
"This was a beautiful, large older house in the Ridgecrest [Member Information Removed] with 5900 sq.ft. of roof [Member Information Removed]. We tore off the old wood shakes and installed our dimensional shingle roof system by Owens Corning. We had a 14 man crew the first day and finished the second day with a 10 man crew. The new roof has a 50 year warranty form Owens Corning and a 10 year leak warranty from us. Thanks for taking the time to post a review!"
"We tore off one layer of shingles and installed our dimensional roof shingle system by Owens Corning. The new roof has a 50 year material warranty from OC and 10 year labor warranty from us. Thanks for the review!"
"On the pitched roof we tore off two layers of shingles and installed our dimensional shingle roof system by Owens Corning. We warrant this system for 10 years and OC warrants the materials for 50 years. On the flat roof we installed our thermoplastic olefin (TPO) roof system by Carlisle. We warrant this system for 12 years and Carlisle warrants the materials for 20 years. We understand how inconvenient roof replacement can be, so we make every attempt to put enough journeymen on the job to finish in one day. Thanks for taking the time to post a 5 star review!"
"We tore off three layers of shingles and installed Owens Corning dimensional shingles on the pitched roof and TPO on the flat roof. Most decking on the flat roof had to be replaced. Thank you for wriitng us a review!"
"We removed tile from one section of the roof, installed new underlayment, and reinstalled the tile. We gave a 7 year labor warranty on this roof section. We pulled a permit to do the work and received a green tag after it was inspected by the city. We keep the original green tag for our records, but are more than happy to send a copy to the homeowner. Being 6 months out on roof replacements, our journeymen work very hard and very long hours in order to try to catch up on our workload. We understand financial difficulties and have worked with other customers on payment; however, our lien rights are taken away after 90 days and in order to protect our interest as a company, we are obligated take that route if we are not paid. We would NEVER agree to be paid 5 months out because we know our lien rights. As stated in the review, he did let us know that it would take him a couple months to pay the remaining balance and we are able to work with that, but we were not informed it would take almost half a year for payment. Our late fees are clearly indicated in the signed contract and are expected to be incurred. We try to make all of our customers happy; however, we do need to receive payment after a contract is signed and the work is completed. We provided excellent services to this customer and received a COMPLETELY unwarranted review."
"We tore off the old tar & gravel roof and installed a new one. All went well. Thanks for taking the time to submit a review! Our future business depends on it."
"This job was a large flat roof home with an existing tar & gravel roof. It had 10 different roof areas with approximately 7 different roof elevations. We contracted to scrape the existing roof surface clean and install our thermoplastic olefin (TPO) roof by Carlisle/Versico. We also contracted to re-stucco the parapets on the back deck section as they were in the poorest condition. The roof was installed in late July of 2016. In August of 2016 we responded to a report of a leak in a roof area adjacent to the highest roofline. We caulked bad cracks in the stucco wall separating these two rooflines, water tested the roof and confirmed no leak from the roof. In September of 2016 we responded to a report of a leak in another roof area, again adjacent to the highest roofline. We caulked bad cracks in two corners of this roof area and installed a synthetic stucco. In January of 2017 we responded to a report of a leak around the chimney of the highest roofline. We caulked the broken stucco on top of the chimney and some cracks in the parapet wall. 22 months later, after the 24 hour rainfall of October 23rd, 2018, we responded to yet another leak. Our investigation has determined, yet again, the poor stucco condition is allowing water to infiltrate the home. When applying pressure by hand to the stucco, it flexes, indicating a poor and very thin original installation. We continue to work diligently with the homeowner to solve the problem. Update: The above response was filed on Google, in response to homeowner posting a bad review on that website. This is one of the most difficult circumstances we have to undertake as a roofing contractor. Sometimes a homeowner doesn't want to listen to the facts as laid out and proven by testing. They just want the roofing contractor to pay for other work (stucco) to solve the leak."
"We performed tile maintenance on this customer's roof. Cleaning off the old 3 coursing and mortar on the pipes and installed new. Thanks for the "A" review."
"We didn't just do a "nice job". We did a great job! The job consisted of removing one layer of shingles from the 3700 sq. ft. home and installing our Owens Corning dimensional roofing system with a 50 year material warranty and a 10 year leak warranty. (Longest warranty of any contractor in N.M.) We completed the job in 2 days. Everything was cleaned up perfectly, except for the garage, apparently. The person posting this review is the Buyer of the home. We contracted with the Seller of the home and at that time the home was vacant. We were never told the home had sold and the Buyer started to move in. Regardless, our contract specifically states "we cannot be held responsible for any interior damage resulting from not having a ceiling in any part of the structure being reroofed." We have this stipulation in our contracts because this has happened before and it is very time consuming to clean. We rarely see the inside of the homes we work on and therefore don't know if there is a ceiling or not. We work very hard to make each and every customer happy, that's why we have such a high rating on Angie's List. Thanks for the "D" review. Unwarranted."
"The owner contracted separately with us and his HVAC contractor. HVAC contractor entered jobsite first, for one week, removing existing HVAC units and ducts. We entered the second week to tear off the old roofing systems and install our thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) roofing system by Carlisle. HVAC contractor installed new curbs for the new HVAC units as we installed the new roofing. HVAC contractor removed the wood nailer on the curbs and left us no way to terminate the flashing to the curb other than going over the top of the curb. HVAC contractor said they had 2" of clearance for the HVAC units and this detail was "no problem". HVAC contractor temporarily installed plywood over the curbs so water would not infiltrate the building in case of rain. HVAC contractor installed plywood on 8 of the curbs but left 4 open. HVAC contractor realized while installing the HVAC units they did not have 2" of clearance and cut our flashings leaving them open to the weather. We had 2 big rain storms and 1 hail storm during this job. The water infiltration was strictly due to the HVAC contractor. Because of HVAC contractor's negligence the building suffered water damage. In addition, we had to cut open our roof to dry out the moisture and install venting. Also, HVAC contractor failed to install ducting inside the curbs (utilizing the curb as the duct, which is not air tight) and now the roof "bubbles up" when the HVAC is in use. The coils on three of the HVAC units suffered extensive hail damage due to the covers not being installed on them."
"We tore off the old roofing and installed our Thermoplastic Olefin (TPO) roofing system by Carlisle. The new roof carries a 12 workmanship warranty and a 20 year material warranty. On the pitched roof area we installed our Owens Corning Dimensional Shingle roofing system with a 10 year workmanship warranty and 50 year material warranty. Thanks for the great review!"
"Thanks for the great review! We try to be perfect on every job. Sorry we had to come back and do a few touch ups, but glad you're happy with our quick response and completion."
"We tore off one layer of shingles and installed our dimensional shingle roofing system by Owens Corning. The new roof has a 50 year material warranty and a 10 year leak warranty. Thanks for taking the time to post a review!"
"We tore 3 built up roofs off this flat roof home (state code only allows 2) and installed our thermoplastic olefin (TPO) roofing system by Carlisle. The new roof has a 20 year material warranty and a 12 year leak warranty (longest of any Contractor in the state). Thanks for the positive review!"
"We tore off two layers of shingles and installed our dimensional shingle roof system by Owens Corning. The new roof has a 50 year material warranty and a 10 year leak warranty. Thanks for the straight "A" review!"
"After tearing off the old tar & gravel roof system, we installed our thermoplastic olefin (TPO) roofing system by Carlisle. The new roof has a 20 year material warranty and a 12 year leak warranty. We also replaced two skylights for the customer. When mounting the junction box for the cooler back on the stucco wall, we evidently shorted two wires with a fastening screw. The original electrician ran the wires on the face of the stucco wire (poor workmanship). We were happy to come out and solve the problem. Thanks for taking the time to post a review."
"Since this home only had one roof on it, we were able to scrape the tar and gravel off the old built up roof (BUR) and do an overlay. We installed our thermoplastic olefin (TPO) roofing system by Carlisle with a 20 year material warranty and 12 year leak warranty. We also replaced all of the skylights at the same time. Thanks for the straight "A" review!!"
"We tore off the old BUR (built up roof) and installed our 3-ply fiberglass tar & gravel roofing system. Thanks for taking the time to post a review."
"This customer needed some minor repairs to his Tar & Gravel roof. We detailed 2 canales and 1 vent. Glad we could help and thanks for the review!"
"We tore off two layers of shingles and installed our Owens Corning dimensional roof shingle system with a 50 year material warranty and a 10 year leak warranty. The few holes in the ceiling weren't actually holes from roofing nails. The drywall mud covering the sheet rock nails popped off the head of the nails while we did the job. Sometimes this happens with older homes. We were happy to touch up these few spots."
"Since this home had only one roof, we were able to do an overlay of the existing roof. After prepping, we installed our thermoplastic olefin (TPO) roof system by Carlisle. The roof area was approximately 3800 sq. ft. which we completed in a day and a half. The new roof has a 20 year material warranty and a 12 year leak warranty. Thanks for the straight "A" review!"
