ad an excellent experience with this electrician. He came out to my building to take a circuit breaker panel out of service and perform the necessary disconnects. Instead of just doing the work and charging us, he took the time to thoroughly inspect the panel and discovered it was not powered at all. He showed me everything clearly and was completely honest about the situation. Because of his integrity, my company saved over $1,500 in unnecessary work. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! My general contractor, MY HOME DESIGN STUDIO, in Teaneck, used Amax Electric and assigned a permit to do work on our home addition. Max never showed up, but allowed the general contractor to do all electrical work in our home under his license. When our contractor stopped showing up after getting paid, I called Max to come assess damage and told him we have a permit with his info, he came to my house and said he'd complete the electrical work. That was a month ago and we haven't seen our heard from him or contractor since. They do a lot of business together. They'll take your money and leave your job half done!!

Max is a very professional, knowledge and reliable. More importantly he is honest and very reasonably priced. He is the only electrician that I trust.

Amax Electric were professional, on time, and very thorough. Making vital suggestions on electrical work and upgrade. Eg. how to say energy etc. We bought a fixer upper and they had to complete Electrical work on the entire house. We added items after the initial quote and it was not a problem. They did not fuss or quarrel. He (Max) says, No problem. The additional charge was minimal not exuberant. Their overall charge was reasonable, not the cheapest but definitely not the most expensive. I will hire again for my next project and would definitely recommend. It's not easy to find very good and honest workmen but I consider myself blessed to be able to work with AMAX Electric.
