Everything went smoothly.  We ended up using this deal well after the deal had expired, due to some unanticipated health problems I had.  I was very pleased with their service, and would definitely use them again. <br /> <br />

Work was completed satisfactorily and all my faucets are still workng well. He was thorough and he told me to check the repaired supply lines for a few days for leaks as the old ones had been very difficult to remove. Outdoor faucet is working well. He had told me a vacuum breaker was not needed on the outdoor faucet but I insisted he put it back on as my home inspector had told me when I bougt the house that a vacuum breaker was required. <br /> <br />This plumber also told me my water pressure was too high and that I needed a pressure regulator, but I got another opinion from another licensed plumber who worked on my water softener who verified that pressure was normal after he checked it with a water pressure gauge I bought (Rainbird P24) as well as his own water pressure gauge. <br /> <br /> <br />

The first time I called the company they seemed confused that I had purchased an Angie's list deal. I scheduled an appointment and the techncian didn't show up. When I called later to find out why he said his truck broke down. I totally understand that things happen but a courtesy call would have been nice. I gave him another shot and he came out on time saw we needed a new garbage disposal and switched it out for a new one. Rough start but overall I'm still happy with the work he did. <br />

It was good. He did a good job. I spent an additional $300 or $400 on top of the "Big Deal" I purchased. He did some other stuff. He seemed to be honest. He didn't gouge me. He was very open about what he was going to charge me and how long it was going to take. The cost was a little bit higher than I expected. It works so far. The responsiveness was good.

Unfortunately, it didn't go very well.  The plumber showed up about 30 minutes late, he wasn't very familiar with the pump, and he didn't have the necessary parts to complete the work.  This meant that he went over the allotted hour and charged me an additional 150 dollars which meant that the total cost of the deal was 189 dollars as opposed to 39 dollars.

Everything went fine with the work, I would recommend them

I initially purchased the plumbing service for $39. I had 2 toilets that were slightly running (I did a dye test and it showed that the water from tank and bowl were leaking into each other constantly at a small rate. The tech looked at the first toilet, and after a while told me that I needed a new toilet because he could not locate the problem, which meant there must be a crack in the porcelain. He arrived the next day with a brand of toilet I have never heard of. He installed the toilet and put the old one on the curb. Then he took a look at the 2nd toilet and began telling me that this toilet needed to be replaced as well. I became a bit apprehensive because a handyman friend of mine told me that he thought I most likely did NOT need a new toilet-that it is actually very rare for someone to need to replace a toilet because of a light "running" problem. I also told the tech that this toilet was much newer and being in the Master bath, was used a lot less. He "messed around" with it some more, and told me he would come back the next day and take another look. The next day he tried to call me, but my phone was off. He showed up later in the day at the appointed time with some toilet parts, and told me that he had called earlier in the day to see if I wanted the new toilet that was a "really good deal and was on sale that day. Long story, short, he found the problem was in the water tank and he replaced a rubber part and it was fixed. Of course between this, my friend's words I wondered if maybe I really didn't need the expense of the new toilet... <br /> The tech was very nice, spent a lot of time going and coming. The time he spent and returns he made would have been astronomical with most other plumbers, and so I appreciated that. Whether I really needed a new toilet, or what brand this toilet is and why it didn't come with any sort of "manual" or warranty is a bit scary...The $39 deal became a $340.00 experience-the 2 toilets do not run....but at an honest expense? Not sure. <br />

The space was very tight underneath the sink but Paul managed to removed the old faucet and installed the new one quickly with quality and professionally. <br />

What I have a problem with is that he told us it was going to be $300 after he assessed the problem and he knew that he was going to have to come back but when the final finish had been done the bill went from $300 (what he quoted)to $494 when the scope of work had not changed or the time commitment had not been more extensive. Nothing was communicated to indicate the change in price. Had it been $25 more is one thing but for an estimate to be off by $194 is, in my opinion, excessive.
