It went great. The initial price was a bit steep, but since I had other quotes, they were willing to negotiate. I dealt with Anthony as the project manager and Kevin and Ryan, who did the work. These guys were professional, always showed up early and they did a great job. Even when I goofed up a measurement on where I wanted a ceiling light placed; they fixed it at no cost. I couldn't be happier with the work they did. I had a full kitchen remodel as well as troubleshooting multiple 3-way lights in the house that were incorrectly wired.

Jonathan listened to my explanation of the problem. He then started at the main panel and discovered a problem at the other end of the house and fixed it. He then found another problem at the at the outlet in question. He fixed both problems and installed new GFCI outlets. He was very professional in his work and obviously knew his subject very well.

It went very well. I would highly recommend this company. They were polite and professional, as well as, highly knowledgeable about their work. The lead electrician, even gave me his personal cell phone number so I could contact him if anything of concern happened while they were working and after hours. The job took two days with the weekend coming between them.

The ceiling fans were installed though the electrician was using scare tactics to upsell us on services we did not need. He indicated our new home, build completed in January 2018, was unsafe and could burn down in 15-20 years if the house was not re-wired. I told him it passed code and inspection and he indicated that it "likely would" because "code enforcement wouldn't want to admit fault if you died in the fire". Very off-putting if you ask me. My wife and child now live with his comments in fear that our new house is unsafe to live in.

I cannot say enough good things about American Electrician. Shortly after buying our house and building out the barn, I called them to add additional power to the barn. When they quoted the job, they also gave the option to upgrade the existing circuits to current code. I opted to have them do it all, just for a little piece of mind in our new home. When the electrician arrived on the first day of the job, he realized that the job was bid incorrectly because of the dirt floor in the barn. The electrician knew before he touched anything that it was going to be significantly more work than bid. To American Electrician’s credit, the stuck by the original quote and never once tried to change that. The integrity shown in this situation tells me that this is not the type of company that cuts corners. Ever. As for the work, I am extraordinarily happy with the outcome. Everything was done in conduit and it looks incredibly precise. The switches are all water resistant and the power outlets are covered. All of the new outlets are placed exactly where I asked for it. The whole was extremely polite and kept me and my wife informed throughout the project and through the final inspection. They were working in a barn with a dirt floor, so I can’t attest to their cleanliness. But I appreciated how many people on the team had experience in farms and agriculture, so they respected the distinct environment of a barn. I highly recommend American Electrician.

The owner of the company came to our house and explained that not only was our electrical system out of date but the electric pole outside had been hit by lightening causing an outage in our home. It was a huge job and the owner and his workers handled it superbly! We had to have a trench dug in our yard and a new box put outside on a pole and a new fuse box. It was all completed within a day. Everything was done to code and all the workers where polite and professional.The owner even provided financing for the work. We contacted our Insurance Company and they paid for most of the work due to the lightening strike. Since it takes more than a few days to get the Insurance money we needed the financing to pay the company right away. It was amazing how fast they finished the work. I know it was a major job. The company offered fair pricing and quality work. They even came back after completion and raked the soil outside where the trench was dug to even out the yard. The owner of the company is a nice man who is professional, courteous, and just plain a nice man. I recommend this company highly to anyone who needs electrical work no matter how big or small the job is going to be.

They were prompt. They did what they said they would do at the estimated price that they gave me and it was taken care of. I don't really have anything to compare them on, they were the only estimate that we got.

They are very professional, they are doing like every body does by going to every home now because in the 1990's they came up with new standards of switches and the law says every single light switch must be grounded, so they want to do every single switch in your house for 2500$ and ground every switch in your house. I did not like that he was doing that but because every body is doing it otherwise he is good. He is a wonderful gentleman, very clean i do not think he will give you a good prices on the switches.

First of all, I am a stickler for professionalism, workmanship and cleanliness.  The electrician (Rick) showed up at my house on time,  in a neat and clean uniform, and walked us through the entire process.  The first thing he did was an inspection of the work we wanted done.  Then he gave us an absolutely free estimate!  They were the only company I talked to that gave a free estimate.  He was ready to immediately start the job and stated they carry all the materials they need on their trucks.  I had to reschedule, however do to the fact that I had to leave.  Rick was able to schedule me for a next day appointment before he left my house.  The next day when they showed up the job was done in a VERY clean manner.  I was very impressed with the workmanship both during the job and the final product.  I would absolutely recommend American Electrician to anyone needing the services of an electrician!    <br /> They also gave us multiple design ideas along with the free estimate with regard to the lighting and how we wanted to set up the room! <br />
