This company was fast, responsive, and helpful, so they quickly landed the job. I paid half upfront for materials. They came and installed 3 fans, and were nice and professional while there. However, the motor of 1 of them did not work, and they said they would come back after Christmas to fix it. I paid them the rest, so they were paid in full. It is now February 13, and they have not responded to our multiple attempts to reach out by phone, text, and email. I'm feeling burned.

Responded quickly. Assessed problem and provided a solution. Cost was reasonable.

We requested a quote for a series of repairs, the provide came the next day (30 Nov 2023) to provide a quote and was able to start work that day. However, much of the work was incomplete (fixing damage to the walls in three bathrooms), the outside light they fixed didn't work, and one of the fans/heaters they installed didn't have the heater hooked up). But we worked with them to schedule a time to come back and finish that work and install recessed lighting the next week. On Dec 11, 2023 they installed the recessed lights, connected the fan heater, but did not do any of the patchwork and did not get the outside light to work. They demanded payment since the "electrical part of the work" was complete and only "patch" work remained. Since the outside light did not actually work, they refunded us $275 (listed as a "cash" payment) for the cost of that work. Then they scheduled to return after Christmas on 8 Jan 2024 to complete the patch work. We also have a text from 11 Dec where they acknowledge that they had remaining patch work to complete. However, the provider did not show on 8 Jan and did not respond when we contacted them about it. The challenge is, the electrical work they did looks great. The fact that they left gaping holes in walls and ghosted us regarding finishing the work is unacceptable. I am able to provide pictures of all the damage, copies of the invoices, and a photo of the text message at any time.

They were professional and did a great job. I would use them again.

Do not hire—our cabinets have drips in the paint, lacquer that is thick and dripping in some places and too thin to cover the paint in other places. They look splotchy even from across the room. The cabinets are also rough as sandpaper rather than smooth like we expected. Perhaps worse, we have overspray on the walls, the baseboards, the dishwasher, the dishes in the cabinets, the items in the silverware drawers, and even all over my nice extension cord which they borrowed from the garage without asking. In our experience, the crew was unprofessional and unskilled.

They were amazing, showed up right on time and completed the job quickly and professionally! I would definitely recommend them and will be using their services again myself!

American Maintenance Professionals were punctual, communicative, and incredibly understanding when I messed up one of the key instructions. They were clearly knowledgeable and did a wonderful job. My tv and shelves look great! Will be using them again for handyman services.
