Don was great. He arrived when he said he would, performed the tasks in a very timely manner and quoted what he said he would - and at a price that was better than his competitors. I highly recommend American Overhead Door for your garage door needs.

My garage door spring system came loose from header. This caused the spring system to be forced out the front of the garage door. I called American Overhead and Don said he would be at my house at 8:00 AM next day. I was so worried about how long it would take to fix and the cost. Don arrived on time. Assessed the damage, and repaired it in 30 minutes! I was astonished! In thirty minutes it was fixed and for very little cost! Don’t hesitate to call American Overhead Door if you have a problem with your garage door...a great company!

Don, the owner and only employee responded to our call the day we called him, scheduled the appointment and arrived on time. He surveyed the problem, which was an old craftsman opener in which the gears had stripped and had a modern version of the old one with him to install. I agreed with the problem and the price for the new opener and his labor was reasonable. He replaced the old opener within an hour, lubed the tracks on both our doors and made recommendations on keeping the openers and tracks in good shape. He was very professional, identified quickly what to do to fix our problem and delivered as promised. The door is working very well now as well as our other one that has an overhead door company opener. I would use him again without hesitation. Great, timely service!

Great. The timeline from order to installation was far superior to others companies, price was similar to a little less than some other quotes. Installation was great, quality door that looks just like what was ordered, no complaints.

I compared three businesses from Angie's List. I just wanted an opener that worked. There was a prompt response and the price was reasonable, compared to the others. One person instillation and removal or old equipment. He even put in floor sensors which are a nice safety feature. He also oiled the old noisy rollers. I now have a nice quiet opener with 2 remotes. I also received a demo of the openers functions and a owner manual which is rare these days.

I sent a message Friday night and received an immediate response. Don fixed the garage door Saturday morning at a very reasonable cost, and provided a detailed invoice via email. Besides fixing the actual problem (a bad switch), he included another half dozen maintenance items with the standard service charge. His straight "A" record is well deserved!  <br />

He arrived 10 minutes early and diagnosed the problem in seconds.  In less than a half hour he repaired the door after explaining the reason for the problem.  He also performed routine lubrication to both doors and added handles to the back of each door at no cost.  I strongly recommend this company because of professionalism, speed and competence.

Arrived at appointed date and time. Was professional and immediately expressed confidence in his ability to fix all the problems with our doors. Was friendly, but focused on the job at hand. Had all needed parts available. Finished work in less than an hour.

Called on Monday and after obtaining his cell number, he answered my call. Others 1) was going to call back with a time, one called back 6 hours later and 1 did not call at all. <br /> He scheduled me for early the next morning, arrived promptly on time, was efficient and professional. <br /> I would certainly have him do more work for me next time a need arises. <br />

Call this morning, and the provided was able to come out within a few hours (and offered options for other days).  Got right to work and took care of the problem with the garage door, and answered a few questions.  At this point, looks very good.  Excellent service. <br />

From the time I first called him until it was done was about 2 hours.  Great response, great price, great service, great attitude.  <br />

He came right on time and was very polite and very efficient.

Not only did he do the required repair, he oiled the chain and made sure the other garage door was working smoothly which we didn't ask for.  He is very business oriented so not much small talk however he did excellent work.  <br />

We discovered the problem on a Sunday and left messages with several garage repair companies.  The first couldn't do the repair for several days and would have charged double fees to come on a Sunday.  The second never called back.  American Garage Door returned my call fairly quickly and arranged for service the next morning.  Arrived right on time and work performed quickly and cleanly.  Advised us that original springs were undersized for the door size, so replaced with more appropriate size, which we appreciated knowing.  Price very reasonable. <br /> <br />
