American Painting & Power Washing

John was referred to me by a former acquaintance & it turns out that I know his brother in law & most of his wife's family so things started very well, John was very responsive and easy to talk to, came to give the estimate when he said he would, was willing to work within what I asked. His nephew came to remove the wallpaper, things started well but then it began to go downhill, times were set to come, kid never showed & I had to text to get a timeline, when he did come, I had to ask if he would put down a dropcloth while he was sanding. We tested out paint & he washed his paintbrush in the kitchen sink with a bowl in it twice, that bothered me but what truly bothered me was when a $300 figurine was broken. I was not told it had been broken but found 3 pieces of it hidden behind a chair, when I called John, he asked his nephew who claimed it had been broken when he found it. I know that is not the case & even IF it had been, where is the rest of it & why did I only find a few pieces? Not to mention was why I not told it was broken? When I called John, he was very sorry about what had happened & took an amount off the cost of the job which I appreciated, that now brings us to my biggest issue, I now have a room that isn't even half done & he does not respond to texts or calls. He told me he would come to work on the job almost 2 weeks ago, I have been trying to get in touch with him for over a week now & have gotten no response, not even a simple, I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Been total silence, he may have A ratings but my experience is a D at best, a professional does not ignore a client & leave them with a job so unfinished that they have to start calling other companies. John gave me a very fair estimate. I accepted and gave him a deposit and then it took a while to get going because of rainy weather. By the time he could begin I was leaving for a month but he was willing to wait until I got back to see the finished house.It looked great. He is a good communicator and always gets back to you. I never actually met him in person but we were able to do it all by messages and phone and it works.

I called John (the owner) told him what we needed done. He came over the next day an gave us an estimate. We agreed on the price and set up a day and time to do the work. John showed up with 2 workers and they completed the work in a timely manner. The whew very professional and let the areas they worked in spotless. I highly recommend them and would definitely use them again.

John and his team were prompt, professional and highly knowledgable in all aspects of their trade. They finished the job on time and within budget. John answered all my questions and was very helpful. I will recommend them to all my friends and family.

They did an excellent job! Any issues I had they were more than willing to adjust or touch up. Fair price and they are super friendly. They clean up behind themselves and moved my furniture back when they completed the job.

Other than some slight delays because of weather, the job has been efficient, quality, and reasonably priced. We are very happy with the services.
