The company came out on Sunday and was able to give us a quote almost immediately. After we input our information into angi.com. He was able to come out two days later and perform the fix. Both Dan (Owner) and Dave the installation manager were both professional and courteous. I always do what was going on with the project from beginning to end. Great job.

I have only good things to say. First of all, excellent communication and way of explaining what was needed and what they were going to do. They were there on the day they promised, super fast at working, and I asked them if they could please take care of the roses in the garden, and they did. They dug the hole without damaging my rose bushes. I would definitely recommend them.

We lost our water supply line to our single family home in Springfield, VA. We contacted American Plumping and the owner arrived at our home in 45 minutes. We had two estimates from Angie's List and went with Dan from American Plumping. He was honest, stright forward and had the better estimate. The repairs was started the next morning by his dedicated crew. The crew was polite, answered all of my wife's questions. They had the water service restored, county inspected and cleaned up my yard by 4:00 pm same day. You would have never known part of my yard was dug up and small concrete patch restored when American Plumping finished. The owner Dan assisted me with an Home Owners Insurance claim that returned all of my costs except the deductible. I offer my highest recommendation for American Plumping and Dan.

Dan made this process amazing! He met with me quickly and had a plan ready for every possibility of the issue. I chose to go with American Plumbing for the knowledge, expertise, and professionalism in explaining the solution. While American Plumbing was not the cheapest vendor, I could not get past the feeling that they would do the best work. In the end, the problem was not as bad as initially thought and Dan adjusted the price for the work done, which showed integrity. I will NEVER look for another company for water line repair as long as Dan is available. I'm a customer for life!

The work completed by American Plumbing, Inc. was outstanding! We discovered we had a leak in the water line into our townhouse. This was confirmed by Fairfax Water on 12/16/25 (Tuesday). By Tuesday afternoon our need for a contractor had been advertised by Angi's List and Dan from American had visited us to evaluate what we needed done. Based on his evaluation of the situation and knowledge we hired American to complete the repairs. The repairs were done on Thursday morning (2 days!), they showed up when they said they would (early actually!) and in 4.5 hours completely replaced the outside water line with a heavier grade of copper pipe with a 20 year guarantee! When they left you couldn't tell they had ever even been there! I have rarely in 40+ years as a home/property owner dealt with a more professional & talented company and crew.

The owner of the company came promptly after the leak started and accurately assessed this issue. A crew was scheduled quickly and arrived on time and made the repairs in a surprisingly short amount of time. There were no surprises, only highly professional, high quality repairs made quickly and with minimal disruption to my yard. Even though they had to dig deeply into my yard and replace pipes inside my home, when they completed the job, I could hardly tell they had been there. The professionals at American Plumbing are excellent communicators, friendly and able to communicate complicated issues into plain language, meaning there are no surprises. In short, American Plumbing Inc. is an excellent plumbing company and highly recommended.

Out of 4 proposals, ranging from Class A to Class C contractors, API delivered what a Class A or Class B could not. The human connection. For me I see this as a job interview when people come to do their estimates. And Dan left a good impression as someone I can work with. He was very responsive, respectful, considerate and he listened. My instincts served me well. It took only 3.5 hours to finish the job installing a one piece new k-copper water pipe from the house to the curb including installing new 2 shut-off valves and 1 PRV, patching the cement, backfill, re-laying the sod and clean up. Thank you Dan, Dave, Frankie and Eder! You all made the difference making a hard task look easy. The seeds you planted in our 47 year old neighborhood will bear fruit. Oh, without being asked, Dan extended us a senior discount and that speaks volumes.

Dan, Dave, and the rest of their crew did an outstanding job replacing my water main. I called Dan and he came out within 30 minutes of my call to give me an estimate. Dave and his crew showed up at 8;30 a.m. the next day and were finished with the work by 11:00 a.m. No heavy duty equipment and no destruction of my landscaping or damage to my foundation.
