Charles was great. I had toilets in the house not flushing. His associate stopped by the same day as the call. Charles stopped by later to inspect and advise. Highly recommend. Will use again if need be. <br />

The guys from American Pump Services were punctual, professional, and very informative. They diagnosed the problem, ordered a new control panel overnight and installed the next day. They also replaced the floats in our pit and set them at levels to encourage more efficient pump output.

Spoke to Charlie and explained that there was a sewer smell and one tank was leaking. He sent two gentlemen to check it out and after inspection they replaced the pump. They arrived on time and did a great job. I will hire and recommend American Pump Services again. <br />

Charlie and his people did a accurate excavation, installed septic properly and had no problem passing the inspection . <br /> They did not follow up with the additional drainage installation project, which they quoted and had scheduled for installation. <br /> Overall good company. I would use them again. <br />

Came out right away tried to fix the problem without digging but had no choice but to dig. Charles delivered his equipment on Sunday evening so they were all set to go Monday morning. the crew arrived Monday on time and had the problem fixed by1 pm. Great guys to have working for you. We called on a Saturday to ask about an estimate and Charlie came out the next day (Sunday). Very professional; explained all the details and cost involved and gave an estimated date to install. We asked for a written estimate and insurance certificate, which was provided the next day. <br /> Installers came out when scheduled and job was done without any complications. Installers were professional and very polite. <br /> Would recommend with our highest praise. Nice people to deal with and very professional. <br />

So, its 9:30 on a Sunday evening, I am in Florida visiting <br /> family, and I get a call from my wife that the septic alarm is sounding. Really? <br /> So I sort through listings for septic service and I see that American <br /> Pump Services has some good reviews so I place a call. First thing Monday morning I get a call back <br /> from Charlie with a plan of attack. <br /> First he has a pump truck already scheduled so we can get the use of the <br /> septic back and give some time to troubleshoot the problem. He jets the mound and replaces the pump and <br /> we are back in business all with very little inconvenience and at a very <br /> reasonable price. If you are looking for <br /> quality service and support for your septic, look no further….you found your <br /> source. <br />

They told me I wouldn’t need to be there for them to fix the hole. Come to find out they only put rocks under straw to fill the hole. It has now rained and now I have a huge sink hole again. I do not want them to come back to my house ever again. I will now have to probably have a landscaper fix the problem that they created. <br /> <br />

"We are terribly sorry that you had a bad experience. Everything in our power was done to try to make you happy, including performing the pipe repair to your system for free, a value of a $1000.00. We are also upset that you did not give us the chance to work with you on your issues by contacting us with your complaints, but rather went right to angie's list. We always try to make things right with every customer we have, That is the reason we maintain all the other great reviews. The "rock" issue you speak of is unavoidable when major excavation is performed. We certainly did not bring rocks with us to put in your yard. They are a permanent staple to this area. If you were unhappy you could have contacted us first to discuss the matter, but you didn't so there was no way to make you happy. You could have purchased some top soil and we would have spread it for you. Again stones are unavoidable in the Poconos, and we have pictures before we planted grass that your property was left smoothly graded with no stones protruding onto the surface. I am sorry that it rained and some dirt washed away exposing the NATURAL rocky soils of the mountains of Pennsylvania. In the end we did our best and wished that you gave us the opportunity to work with you. Good luck in the future"

American Pump arrived early this afternoon, clearly making servicing us a priority. The technician was wonderful and the job was completed quickly and well at a cost of $700 which was far below the last time we needed this done. I would highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again should the need arise. <br />

Turkey mound pump failed. We told American Pump we had an emergency situation and they got right on it - onsite within two hours. Fixed the pump, replaced the float, and pumped the septic tank. Fast, quality service with friendly, professional staff. Great price for an emergency situation too. I would definitely recommend them. <br />
