They were great to work with. I’m a Realtor and reached out to the owner, Jonathan, late Thursday night through Angi regarding a sewer line issue that came up during an inspection on one of my listings. The buyer’s plumber had initially scoped the line but wanted it decalcified and cleaned due to calcium buildup, so they requested that the seller have it properly cleaned and rescoped. Jonathan and his team responded immediately. They cleaned both the interior and exterior lines and had everything completed by 3:45 pm the next day—well within our inspection timeline. He also provided two separate videos, which we shared with the buyer’s plumber, and he approved the results. Excellent communication, quick turnaround, and very professional throughout the process. Highly recommend.

American sewer is very professional and honest and they did a great job at my house to unclog a sewer line and also scope it at a reasonable price. I would most definitely hire these guys again. Have any type of drain issues, call John at American sewer, you won’t disappoint!!

American Sewer is outstanding! They have solved unusual clogs for me twice, and at fair prices. Just recently I bought a house with a rock lodged in the trap of the basement floor drain. I could reach it with a long tool, but it wouldn't budge -- it was really stuck in there and I was afraid the whole floor drain might have to be replaced by cutting into the concrete floor. But American Sewer got the rock cleared out quickly, got everything flowing smoothly, and much cheaper than replacing the drain. Several years ago they got me out of another weird problem.

Best plumbing / drain service company I’ve worked with. Honest, professional, and truly seem to want the best result for the client, not the biggest job/paycheck. Would recommend this company to anyone I know having issues with drains and will be making them my 1st call for any future problems. Seth was great.

They arrive a little later than expected, but called during the expected window to let me know they were running late. Resolved the slow drain issue I was having and everything is working as expected again.

Friendly and informative, came right away and did great quality work. They educated me on the problem and reviewed a quote I had already received for a substantial amount of money. They let me know that work was unnecessary.

The job proved more challenging and difficult than initially thought. This Crew handled the the challenge with Grace and professionalism. Getting the job done cleaning up after a job that became larger than was initially expected. I would definitely use this group again

We couldn't run the kitchen sink or do laundry without flooding the basement floor. Adam fixed the clog within 30 min. Been in my 1947 home for almost 12 years struggling with drain issues and tried to handle on our own. Every year renting a machine from home Depot, lugging it to the basement and just clearing a bit of the drain. Other issues using snakes and cutting into pipes. Made it work. We had a major issue 4 years ago and had to look for help. American Sewer was out the same day and took care of business on the main drain. When other companies would not, saying "The pipe collapsed And it's a $7k job". Adam had been out 2 other times. Kitchen sink. Bathtub drain no issues in 2 years! Today with floor drain. This Company is really worth it. Changed my life finding them. Thank you.

Excellent service! I called in the morning and Dave came out that afternoon. He quickly diagnosed the problem, gave me an estimated cost, and he got to work. The main sewer pipe in my basement is nearly impossible to access, so he had to access the pipe by removing the basement toilet. He was able to clear the blockage in approx 90 minutes. He replaced the worn wax seal under the toilet, and bolted the toilet in place again. Dave had to make several trips into the basement with his heavy equipment, and was careful to not dirty my floors. Dave's time and cost estimates were very accurate, and very reasonable. American Sewer most definitely did a "great job, at a great price, and dispatched a technician the same day" I called!

We are glad we called American Sewer for our needs. Ben was VERY professional, respectful, honest and real from beginning to end! We appreciate that more than anything! The job got done quickly and correctly the first time.

First times I used them was fine but my sewer was backing up sooner whenever they cleaned it until my floor drain backed up again 8 months Later and main line 1-1/2 yrs later.will not use them again.

My sewer backed up into an unfinished part of my basement. I cleaned up the sludge-gross- but had to call American Sewer to come and unplug the line. They showed up in the next day and snaked the main line which fixed the issue. He also ran a camera down the the street to check the main line. He cleaned it from two different access points. He also suggested i have the main line scraped a bit as there was some calcification. He didn't have the equipment to do it as my access point was too small. I scheduled them to come back out and do it later. They were very efficient and I have used them again since then.

Tub and sink were draining slowly so I called American Sewer. I've used them before and they've been great. They came out within a day and quickly snaked the drain. Problem solved. Pretty simple job. I'd used them again no problem. I had them clean my main sewer line last year as well.

Prompt and helpful. Turned out they needed to replace the pipe from sink to wall (old house) and they had the needed materials in the truck so it could be finished in that one visit.

They did a super job

It went better than expected. Technician Adam arrived within 2 hours of my call. He cleaned out the main sewer line of large tree roots and also cleaned out the floor drain. It took him 2 hours to complete all work. He was professional, efficient, and personable and all floor areas were clean when he left.

Had intermittent drain back ups then water in lower level of finished basement (soaked carpet) on a Saturday. Found American Sewer on Angie's list and left a message very early Sunday morning. Got a call back Sunday morning and arranged for a Sunday afternoon service call. Fees were disclosed prior to the service call, including a premium for Sunday emergency service Technician called before arriving and was on time. Very courteous and professional service. Inspected sewer line, found tree roots, cleaned the sewer, and provided a copy of the video inspection. Very pleased with service and price was reasonable, especially considering it was a Sunday emergency service call. I would recommend American Sewer and would definitely hire again
