The owner, Bernie, was trustworthy, professional, and followed through with all requests as per the contract. The employees were experts in tree removal! They were thorough, careful, and precise in taking down a huge tree in our backyard. They couldn't use a crane because the space inside the fence was too small, so Leo and Douglas climbed the tree to remove thousands of pounds of tree boughs, branches and trunk. Domingo and two others guided the tree limbs with ropes slowly and thoughtfully, so they wouldn't fall on our house or our neighbors . Due to the limited space they had to work in, that was not an easy task. They were all hard working, and very friendly. The clean up of debris was great! My husband videotaped the whole process from beginning to end. It was really something to see! If you want experts with years of experience, and a reasonable price, hire American Tree Service to remove your tree.

The job took a week to complete. They were always on time and ready to work with all the equipment necessary to complete the job. They treated us like a true friend and not like a customer. His professionalism is something that you don't see often in business owners, and his staff was very clean and polite. We were so satisfied with the service that we recommended him to my cousin who used their services. I will not hesitate to hire this company again or recommend them to anyone looking for tree services. They are true professionals who provide quality work in a timely and fashionable manner with the responsiveness and quick turnaround that we, all homeowners, want. They did a great job. I was particularly impressed by the skill of the crew member (we called him "the squirrel") who climbed the trees, tied ropes, chain-sawed and angled the severed portions of the trunk to fall in open areas. I felt really fortunate that I had found them in the neighborhood because my regular tree service still hasn't returned my phone call a week later.
