They were fine. They're just selling the carpet. They have somebody else do the installation. There was a little question on the installation but it worked out okay, I guess.

WORST carpet I've ever purchased. Over past 39 years I've owned homes & businesses in 3 states and purchased carpet numerous times. <br /> NEVER have I purchased carpet that looked so bad after less than 2 years: <br /> *Wear patterns (like you might see after 10+ years of use <br /> *Stains that can't be removed even by professional cleaners & equipment  <br /> *Matted/flattened by furniture after short period and once flattened, can't be restored <br /> *Non-stop shedding  <br /> *Rippling/stretching bubbles & lumps everywhere <br /> To make matters worse, Joe Castanon Sr repeatedly promised to replace the defective (made by Beaulieu of America) carpet but after more than 5 months, nothing but empty promises! If you're still considering doing business with American Wholesale Flooring, you should also check to see if they have a business license because as of May 2013, State of Nevada says their license is in DEFAULT.  <br /> I'm currently preparing to file suit & just hope they stay in business long enough for me to collect because during one of his visits to my home, Joe said he will be leaving American Wholesale Flooring to start a new business. <br />

I had no bad experiences with them. They were right on top of things, came out pretty quickly, gave me an estimate and did the work rapidly. They were great; I did not see any issues with them at all. I used them because of some of the reviews I saw on line; people made comments about them saying they were very good and professional.

Joe Sr came out and did an estimate and then revised the estimate when we added more space to be done. He was great to deal with. The flooring was delivered in order to adjust to the house climate. When installation day arrived, the subcontractor stated we did not have the required materials on hand because the under-layment was here. My wife called Joe Sr and he stated the subcontractor knew that he was required to pick up the material at Joe's warehouse. Joe got on the phone with the sub and straightened him out. Then the sub argued with my wife that the landing was too complicated on our stairway and wanted to do it an easier way. My wife specifically told the owner we wanted the landing as is with the new flooring. Joe had to straighten him out again. The installers did an excellent job overall and the floors look wonderful. <br />

When it was time to install the carpet, I called the owner to schedule.  He sent out two teams so it could be finished in one day.  They got here at around 9:00 a.m. and finished around 3:30 p.m.   His men were efficient, got everything done, then vacuumed the carpet plus swept up the floors around the carpet.  The carpet is super plush (like my wife wanted) and looks beautiful.  We got excellent carpet at an extremely good price.   Couldn't be happier with the carpet. <br />

Saw this company on-line and went by their office on Vally View to check it out.  It was a small office, but a busy one.  Joe Castanon, the owner was very courteous and asked me to hold on while he finished up with another customer.  I didn't have to wait long, and he was informative to guide me through what I needed for my rental house in terms of recarpeting. <br /> <br /> We scheduled for him to come by the house to do the measuring the next afternoon which he showed up on time.  Then we agreed on the complete package, pricing and install date, and gave him a deposit right there.  I was thinking of going with a slightly higher price carpet, but he recommended me not to do that because it is for a rental house which he does a lot of on a daily basis.  I went with his recommendation and their workers came bright and early on the day of the install and got it done around 4pm that same day.  <br /> <br /> When I saw the finished product installed, it looked great!!  I am so glad I went with his recommendation, and it shows that he is in it to do long term business because he could have sold me pricier item but recommended me that this was enough.  very happy with the job!  The carpet was vacuumed and there was hardly any debris left. <br /> <br /> will definitely give him another job on my own house as well as other rental properties.  <br />
