I would NOT recommend Alan. He did an accent wall for us with molding and it was wonky. We ended up doing the math for him for the spacing and he redid it. It looks fine now but he charged us to redo it which was his mistake that he admitted to. When we reached out about being over charged he ignored all of our requests and we have not been able to make contact for an explanation or refund. Not professional at all!

I'm completing this review for may sister Barbara G. , Parma Ohio who is 82 year old, on a fixed income, is legally blind, and does not have access to the internet. Alan Luf did several projects for my sister starting in 2012. All of them satisfactory. So she did not hesitate to contact him to renovate her kitchen. Work started mid Aug 2019. Most of the work was completed in Aug 2019. He was paid in full because he promised to return to complete the job. Contractor returned in Oct 2019 to compete work - backsplash and molding and trim. Backsplash could not be completed because one box of the blacksplash material was the wrong style. Contractor had to reorder to complete the work. My sister spoke to the contractor several times from Oct 2019 thru Mar 2020. He said he had the correct backsplash and would be over to complete the job. He was always a 'no show'. He now does not return her phone calls. Contractor is accepting work from other customers and completing those jobs, but he is either unable or unwilling to complete the kitchen project for my sister. At this point she is asking him to give her all materials needed to complete the work plus a refund so she can hire another contractor to complete the kitchen renovation. I have sent hm a message on Facebook, wrote a review on his Facebook page, sent him a certified letter regarding return of materials and a refund. There had been no response from him.

Alan and his company are consummate professionals - highly skilled, creative, dedicated, hard working, friendly and honest. They are a terrific choice for anyone considering remodeling or repairs. What I thought was a leak in the shower drain damaging the downstairs ceiling was discovered through Alan's thorough inspection to be the result of an exterior chimney issue leading to rainwater damaging the interior structures. Alan explained the problems, offered options and suggestions, and completed the full repair and remodel true to his estimate and promised completion time. This included repairing the 2 1/2 story chimney , all hidden damages, framing, drywall, subfloor and flooring, plumbing and electrical, ceiling repairs and painting, and installation of new shower, toilet, and vanity. A.M.L.S. accomplished this with skill and attention to detail while maintaining and leaving a clean and organized work site , providing great communication, and being truly considerate of the homeowners daily schedule.

GREAT! He did all the work and even provided some additional work for free. We have two rooms left as well as exterior, and he will be our go-to guy. He recommended the appropriate materials, work, repairs, etc. He worked long hours and met deadlines.... true to his word! We were lucky to find him!

ALMS Was very professional, they did an amazing job, with all the different projects going on they maintained a very clean job site. I'm a perfectionist and Al took the time to explain everything to me. I highly recommend ALMS for any project from small to large you won't be disappointed.

I was very happy with all the work they have done for me. Quotes are always very fair and for the quality of work well worth it. I have small children and they are always friendly and take the time to talk to them and show them what they are doing. I've actually had them stop working and come have dinner with my family. They are the type of people I enjoy doing business with.

Alan, is very professional. He was prompt in arriving and finished his work in a timely manor. I would recommend his service.

Alan is an amazing person!! He did such a wonderful job that I cant explain it. After years of trying to find the perfect home for my family I found that it was impossible. We ended up venturing into a fixer-upper with much hesitation. After all said and done I would have done it years sooner had I know Alan. The workmanship and professionalism was top notch. My family could not be happier with the style and comfort that was built into our home. If you are looking to have a small or large job like I did go with AMLS. <br /> You will not be disappointed!!!!

Alan's work was absolutely great. He repainted and fix walls in my garage then added new led lighting. He's workmanship, professionalism, and pricing was great. He is a great contractor to use for home improvements.

By far the best experience I have had. I needed my whole kitchen rewired, after Alan viewed the problem he would not let me wait the 2 weeks I was planning. The situation was that dangerous. Alan took time away from his weakend and worked on it all day Saturday and Sunday. It was shocking to find someone who cared so much about the safety of someone he did not even know. The job was so well done I asked Alan to do all.my cabinet work, by the time I got back from work the job was completed beautifully and the kitchen was cleaner then when I left it. It's rare to find someone who cares about his craft so much, is honest and fair and reliable. I would recommend Alan for any home improvement need you have. You will never use anyone else.
