Dishwasher Repair or Service
Here?s a tighter, more polished version that still hits hard but reads credible and fair:

Stay away from this company. I sent photos ahead of time and explained the issue in detail over multiple phone calls. They insisted they needed to come out in person and charged an $85 service fee (which they said would go toward the repair if we moved forward).
The technician showed up and didn?t even inspect the problem area or run the dishwasher. Within minutes, he told me it would be easier to just replace the entire unit. While I understand that sometimes parts are no longer available and larger assemblies need replacing, that?s exactly the kind of conclusion that could have been discussed over the phone based on the information and photos I already provided.
It felt like the service call was unnecessary from the start and just a way to collect a fee, rather than a genuine attempt to diagnose or fix the issue. If they had been upfront, I could have avoided the time and cost altogether.

The took the wine cooler to their place, fixed and brought back. When it still had a problem, they took it back again, spent two weeks trying to find the problem, made calls to the manufacture and did almost everything possible to fix, until it was discovered it was short created during manufacturing which was in a seal part which could not be accessed. They then refunded previous payments and made suggestions regarding where to go for a replacement. Could not be nicer or more professional

Great. A little hard to get him to understand description of problem on the phone, but was efficient and helpful once here. Was willing to come first available weekday. Didn't overcharge. WOuld definitely use again.

Both jobs went great!! The technician was very attentive and listened to my issue and to my proposed solutions. The company dispatch and it's staff worked with me to accommodate my schedule to the get both jobs done on the same day. They even cleaned up after themselves and informed me of what they had done as well as preventative maintenance for the future. I really enjoyed hiring this company and I would hire them again!

Technician was courteous and professional. He found the source of the water leak immediately and replaced the broken parts, then cleaned the coils so that refrigerator would operate efficiently. <br>

I searched for the repair and I found AM PM. I chose them, because some of the customers said that they repaired older equipment. My oven is twenty years old. I wasn’t ready to get a new oven. I wanted to go to somebody who will fix the old one, and believe that the old one is still the good one and doesn’t have to be replaced after five, ten years. It cost $150 versus buying a new oven for $1500. So I was happy with the service, and it was immediate service. I called on a Sunday. I told them that it was not an emergency, but that I would like to have somebody come in the near future. The next thing Monday, they were here. With regard to price, I could not compare if it was too much or too little. I was just happy that I didn’t have to buy a new oven. It was some connection in the oven not linking. It didn’t take that long; maybe half an hour. But I was worried how much it would be costing us. It stayed within the estimate. They said that it might be $150 and that's what the man charged.

The service man took advantage of the fact that I wasn't physically present at the time of the call. He performed work that was not authorized by me and overcharged me for the work. When I had a subsequent repair person come, I was told that the work they performed wasn't necessary. He also lied about the length of time spent in my home. He attempted to bill me for these services and I have been harassed by phone calls at least 15 times. I told them I was very unhappy about being lied to, their attempt to overcharge me and the unnecessary repairs. I would urge others not to use this company. With the exception of this company, I have always been happy with my referrals from Angie's List.

But it seems that there was a bit of a miscommunication because you didn’t pay for any repair nor for the service call and no repair was done on the property. Our dispatchers were only trying to get a hold of you just to clarify, because you had some concerns regarding the estimate that was given. After we thoroughly answered all your questions you still weren’t pleased with our price and the reasoning as to why it was that much, you went and got a second opinion from a repair person whose creditability is unknown. Afterwards to appease you we made an agreement with you to only bill you for the service call but the address you provide was incorrect. So once we received the invoice back stating “Return to Sender” we attempted to contact you only for a correct address and nothing more. The issue here was only miscommunication it wasn’t regarding a repair or a service we provided you, hopefully we can work with you in the future and it’ll be a perfect outcome. Once again thank you for this review and we apologize for the miscommunication feel free to contact us at any time have a wonderful day."

We needed someone that same day, but the soonest AM PM could get to us was the next day. When they finally got here the guy diagnosed and fixed the problem in 30-45 min. They were the quickest to respond out of all of the companies I called.

My family and I had a very positive experience with this company that worked hard to accommodate our schedule. Their work was very accurate and they charged me exactly what they said it would cost. Best of all they cleaned the area they were in after they completed their work. Nice guys!

He was straight up and honest and said that because the dryer was 40 years old, I would end up putting more money into it than I could buy a new one for.

<strong>Spectacular service!!! </strong>Our Bosch dishwasher had been intermittently leaving water in the bottom and finally stopped draining at all. We had cleaned the filters but that did not help. We chose AM PM Appliance Repair on the basis of ratings and reviews on Angie's list. I called about 12:30 pm and was told that they could have someone there by 2 p.m. (This was amazing since Bosch service had said that they couldn't get anyone here for a week.) 20 minutes later the repairman was here, cleared the drain, explained what had happened and charged a better than reasonable price. Steve, the repairman, was professional, very polite, worked quickly, and left everything perfectly clean. <br /> So many thanks to AM PM for their service and to Angie's List for advising us so well. <br />

I looked at several repair services on Angie's List. I called one who did not respond within a couple of hours, and moved on to <br /> AM PM Appliance Repair because of their rating. A live person answered the phone and said that someone would be out the next <br /> day between 11 and 2. Steve arrived at 12:30, and unfortunately got a parking ticket while coming up to get a parking pass. It didn't appear to affect his good nature. He diagnosed the problem as a gas valve coil, which he replaced in a matter of minutes, and suggested that the dryer be away from the back wall. The dryer is about 11 years old. I would use this service again, and will <br /> recommend them to friends. THE BEST! <br /> <br /> <br />

They answered the phone promptly and scheduled a repair the next morning. The serviceman arrived on time, saw the dishwasher and whistled. He explained that it was 35 years old but that age might recommend keeping it, since more modern appliances are made more cheaply. He took it apart, retrieved parts from his truck and repaired it within an hour. The dishwasher works like new. :-) <br />

LG refrigerator was running very hot. I looked up authorized repair services on the LG website and found AM PM Appliance Repair. I then looked them up on Angie's List. They had good reviews. I called the number and spoke with Robert of Robert's Appliance Repair. Robert came out, diagnosed the problem, ordered the parts and then returned as promised within a few days. He quickly removed and installed the new light and fan. While the refrigerator was pulled out from the recess, he cleaned the top of it and the floor underneath. Very efficient and helpful. I would use him again. <br />

The two appliances turned out to have an identical problem -- broken motors. In both cases the issue was diagnosed quickly and repaired efficiently. The repairman (David) was knowledgeable, thorough and helpful. (He also had good advice on extending the life of the appliances.) Repairs were a bit pricey, although not unfair, given labor and the installation of new parts. Appointment times are made in three-hour blocks -- e.g. between 9 a.m. and noon -- rather than a specific time, which might not be possible given the unpredictable nature of repair work; however, a shorter window does seem feasible and would be far more convenient. <br />
