Amtech Roofing

While the work was going on Tony was responsive. After the warranty period, he answered his phone and he said that he will sent his crew on Monday but he never does. I still have a leaking roof. I never asked them to go at my house for free. I just wanted the problem to be fixed. This was based after warranty.

It was a great deal. Everything was perfect.

Was very satisfied> Tony responded promptly to my request and was very professional in my dealings with him. His price was very reasonable and less than I expected. The workers showed up on time and completed the work the same day.

It was excellent, the work was great. They put gutters in front and back of the house.

My roof was started the week after Christmas 2016. It took them about a month to complete....and we've had four leaks. It took them a year to fix three of them and I think they probably just put bandaids on them, they have given every excuse you could imagine for why they can't come....or why they didn't show. It took an entire year and twelve times that they actually did show up, to remedy the leaks. Now, the fourth leak is going into our brand new bathroom. I showed everyone on Facebook and now they refuse to come back until I take the comment down. My husband is fed up and yes, has expressed his anger...but wouldn't you after a year.

Not well! The contractor, Tony Bennette, is not one to go by his contract. Even though he reads it and signs it, once he tears the roofing off you are at his mercy. . He will do it the way he wants to WITHOUT communicating any changes before hand. He is VERY poor at communicating during the job. When he read the contract he could've mention any changes HE had planned. BUT DID NOT. Our contract said he was to put on 1" foil both sides styro-foam insulation board. Instead of that he used a 1/8th" bubble plastic and tin foil sheets. When we come home from our short, interrupted trip, we called him about the rolls of bubble wrap, and his comment was "that's the way we do it in Georgia". The roofing material was off so we were stuck with it. Most of the rest of the time they were here, we were trying to get things straightened out, and it was impossible. There was no final inspection by him or anyone. We had some other things we wanted him to change. And the roof still needs some attention. His crew did their best with what they had to wok with and they also tried to have him make things right. They were willing to please the customer but Tony wasn't. We had asked that it get done as we wanted or "we could take it all to court"! Then he was threatening to us! We think you get the idea!

The schedule constantly slipped even when weather wasn't the culprit. They have been back out numerous times to fix leaks. Two leaks have successfully been fixed but the third is still leaking over our back porch. Amtech has blamed the gutters for five months about this third leak. Per their instruction we have removed the gutter, replaced the facia, and paid them to replace the drip edge all of which they said would fix the problem. Well it hasn't. The leak is still there...it's just as bad and now no one will call us back. The wood that is getting wet is discolored....I'm not sure if it's mold or rotting. Sadly we've had to take legal action to try to make them stand behind their ten year workmanship warranty.

The owner, Tony, came to my house, took measurements & gave me an estimate. They started the job a few days ahead of schedule. His crew did nice work & cleaned up the yard afterwards. I would highly recommend them.

Tony was able to fit my project in during the week and it was accomplished in 1 day. He and his crew were extremely efficient by clearing my deck and stacking my furniture to the side. They removed all the debris. Tony provided information for maintenance to stain my deck once all the moisture seeps out from the wood. I recommended him to my girl friend who needs roofing work done. I will definitely look at hiring his company again. Tony and your crew, thank you so much. Very pleased with the service, pricing, and final product.

We were very happy with that. His work was excellent and we were pleased with that as well. But what really set AmTech apart was their willingness to go the extra mile. They cleaned up everything and left the yard looking better than it looked when they arrived.

Replacement went well and looked good but I have had a leak around my chimney every since. I mad more then 5 call for a fix. They said it was fixed after each call. I am not sure it is after all of those calls. We have not had a big rain since the last call which was last month (January 2015). They have not fixed the damage caused by by the water.

The AMTECH roofers were a bit late coming out, but Tony called and stated they would be late.  The roofers were very fast in removing and replacing the old roof.  I checked the new roof just after a hard rain, and it did not leak. The new roof looks great.  I would use AMTECH again. <br />

Tony from Amtech Roofing was so honest and I couldn't be happier.  He could have lied and sold me a new roof.  Instead, he was honest and let me know I could call him in a few years and he'd be happy to replace it once it needed replaced.
