Ana Santos Cleaning

Ana's team spent 4 hours cleaning my house and I couldn't be more pleased! Because of the language barrier (they did have a translation app on their phone) I just walked them through the house and pointed to things I wanted to be done. Although I was working in another part of the house, I never felt that I had to hover over them to make sure my instructions were being followed. I could often hear talking, but I always heard working. Any time I did have to go into the rooms they were in, it was very obvious that they were both busy at work. (On more than one occasion, with other services, I've had issues with one person working while the other is talking on her phone, sitting on my deck smoking or eating or simply gone; car and all, despite being charging me for 2 workers.) Ana's team worked together and moved furniture to clean! They vacuumed the area, wiped down the backs of the pieces and they even wiped power cords! My lampshades were dusted. They may even have cleaned my lightbulbs! They didn't just dust around items, they moved things, cleaned the areas, and then replaced everything as it had been. My living/dining room area has a 16' cathedral ceiling with a 5' W X 5' H window at the peak; I have a large hutch (5' W X 9' H) directly under the window. Cleaning services I've employed in the past have used a Swiffer to clean the top while standing on the floor. This practice isn't very effective because there's a large model of a Ferris wheel on top of the hutch, and centered on the window. The Ferris wheel needs to be moved to clean behind it, and this can't be done from the floor. The girls used the small step-stool I provided and properly cleaned the top of the hutch and the Ferris wheel. In the kitchen, they moved the table and chairs, cleaned the floors, walls, and baseboards, and then cleaned the table and chairs before returning everything to the original space. My appliances were pulled out and the floors, as well as the walls, were washed. The range and refrigerator were cleaned (front, back, top & bottom) and put back into their spaces. My kitchen was so spotlessly clean; I refused to cook in it last night! We ordered pizza. I have been looking for a really good cleaning service for several years, and for various reasons, none have been used more than twice. If Ana's team can maintain the same quality of work, I'll be using them for years to come.

They are meticulous, thorough, and flexible when you have a scheduling issue. There’s nothing better than coming home after Ana’s team has been to the house! Every inch of the house was dusted, wiped, cleaned, swept and vacuumed. Clean sheets are put on the bed. The house is spotless and smells good after the crew is done. Completely trustworthy

I have been using Ana and her team for about 2 years and have been very, very pleased. They do an 8 hour, top to bottom thorough clean the first time, then they have come every 2 weeks after that. Ana is very professional and responsive, and she and her team do an excellent job. I would highly recommend them and have done so to friends and family.

Ana and her team are extremely thorough and pleasant.  They come in and do an efficient service in a few hours time, depending on how many helpers are working that day (usually 3).  They are reliable, usually arriving on a set day every two weeks for my needs. They are flexible for special occasions as well (for example when I was selling a property and needed cleanings for showings). I have been a client for 9 years, in two different Pittsburgh locations (Squirrel Hill and Mt. Lebanon) and have never had any problems. They are extremely careful, and I am always impressed with the job they do. I can't recommend them too highly! They vacuum, dust, polish, mop, and do thorough cleanings of bathrooms and kitchens. They have really been beyond helpful.

I would definitely recommend Ana and her team. I have been using them for 3 years and I have no complaints. I love having my kitchen and bathrooms spotless plus clean floors in every room. They clean every two weeks which is exactly what I wanted. You won’t be disappointed!!!

Fabiana has been doing bi-weekly house cleanings for me for about 3 months now and I am very happy with her work.

Let's start with the very first day Ana came to the house... She came to see the house and find out what all we were looking to have done. Not only did she show up late but she then rushed around the house totally preoccupied with her cellphone... We tried multiple times to tell her what we were looking to have done but she repeatedly interrupted us. Then she rushed back out of the house. We waited several days and then she finally quoted us a price to clean the house. She sent 3 people to clean our house the following Saturday. They did a wonderful job. We were so excited to have found such awesome house keepers. Two weeks later a different group of ladies came to clean. They left the floors sticky and half of the living room not dusted. I called Ana and tried to explain what was wrong. It was extremely difficult. The next time the ladies came to clean it took a very long time to try to explain that it's not ok to leave the floors sticky. They have not done a completely thorough clean since that first Saturday. Most of the time one of the women stood around playing on her phone. Their English is awful. The cleaning that they do is subpar at best. Definitely not worth the hassle. I fired them after multiple chances to make things right. I absolutely do NOT recommend them.

Ana was responsive in the beginning. We did the whole house deep clean for $280 and then she was hired to do monthly cleanings for $140. When asked if she was going to be onsite to do the cleanings, she stated it would be her and her husband or one of them and another team member. Well, neither her or her husband ever cleaned. A male and a female always cleaned and it was hard to communicate with them because only one of them spoke broken English. Finally **fired** her and her company today after 3 monthly cleanings for not keeping the schedule nor keeping in communication with us. Claims she is too busy with other clients. Had to give them an overall rating of 'F' for firing them.

Very well. If you're getting a deep clean, plan on crew being there for some time.

All I can say is....WOW!!!! After doing some research on Angie's List, I decided to give Ana a call for housecleaning services. I have NEVER- and I mean ever- had a house as clean as when she and her staff were here! They do an initial deep cleaning to "baseline" things, and she literally was at my home for almost the entire day. Full disclosure the deep clean was twice the cost of setting up a maintenance biweekly schedule, but it was well worth it for sure. The house literally was shining. There is no question that Ana is not only professional and timely, but her work is impeccable. I don't usually write a review this lengthy, but the only way to do justice to her work and my satisfaction as a customer was to keep typing! Thank you Ana, and I look forward to having you back at the house again in 2 weeks!

Ana and her team were wonderful! They did a deep clean in our home to prepare for bi-weekly cleanings. They were very detailed and my house was spotless when they left. She is friendly and worked hard from the moment she arrived to the moment she left. I would highly recommend Ana and her team.
