Anderson and Son

The job is incomplete and it looks like we'll have to hire another company to finish it. The quality of the work is poor. Do not hire this contractor for a poured concrete driveway.

Did not complete the work. There was no follow up on the job that they did.

They installed a french drain and it is now failing and he will not call me back to warranty his work. I also went to the address on the add and no one has ever heard of them. I have to seek an attorney

Very happy with the work Anderson and Son did on our driveway. We chose Anderson and Son because they didn't try to give us lip service, or try to sell us more than what we needed. The crew had to fight against the weather and a minor delivery snafu, but even with that, they took down a tree, graded the really bad spots, and laid down 2 drainage pipes and all the rocks along our 1/4 mile driveway within a week. A couple heavy rains later and there has been very minor shifting and the driveway is holding up beautifully. I would definitely hire them again

I used this contractor to replace my existing concrete driveway. His work has cost me over $11000.00 dollars and it is a total mess. I stopped him from working on the driveway after two truck loads of concrete had been poured. He didn't have the equipment needed nor the expertise for doing the work. His crew was a disaster for pouring the concrete. DO NOT USE THIS CONTRACTOR FOR CONCRETE WORK!

Nice guys, but not "professionals". The 3 pics of retaining walls in their profile are our project. It should have taken 4 - 6 weeks, weather permitting. It turned into a 16 ½ week ordeal. The weather was half the delay issues. Their planning and scheduling (or lack thereof) was the other half. Twice after giving them a deposit check for the ˜next phase', we'd have to follow up to get them back out. They constantly left trash around, used our equipment and left it lying out and had to be told how to properly use landscape fabric and stone in and behind tall retaining walls. They hit the house with their equipment and put a large divot in my tongue and grove wood siding. They tried several times to up their price. Thank goodness we had written everything down from the first meeting and had Jerry Anderson sign off on it before he left to "type up and finalize the job quotes". The pics are 'work in progress'.. good thing or you could see how poorly they finished the wall ends. I honestly thought they'd left some of the top cap stones stacked on the ends until I went to finish picking up after them and found the stones were glued down and that was their idea of ˜finishing". The gutter diverters still leak but we'll fix that properly. Taking care of the propane lines, removing a few trees, re-seeding what they demo'd, rails around the top of the walls - Jerry talked about, never included in quotes and they never got done. Bottom line: GET THINGS IN WRITING, DO YOUR RESEARCH AND BABYSIT. The cement work looks great, the stone walls are adequate, our yard and driveway are beat up and they wasted $500 of gravel getting themselves unstuck around the property.

3 trees trimmed. cut up and hauled logs. leveled out work area would recommend for tree work.

They basically didn't do what I hired them to do, sent a man that clearly didn't follow instructions, they tore up my front lawn and basically made a parking lot instead of a small turn around. Came back to correct but i am very unhappy with the job. They repositioned the gravel but my front yard is torn up, mud where grass was and the land is not level so now with the rain i have puddles of mud. Jerry said they would come back and plant sime grass seed but I'm not hopeful. Be sure to have a clear written description of work to be completed. Sad because he seemed like such a nice guy. Said he likes to do small jobs and make the customer happy. I'm not happy everytime i walk out the door and see the mess he made of my lawn. It was supposed to be a simple regravel if the driveway.

Anderson figured the concrete wrong costing me a lot more than I wanted to spend in the first place. He also sent unqualified workers to do the job causing me to have to operate the front end loader. Anderson never came back to see the project or clean up the frame and the mess left in the yard. No excuses Bad excuse for a professional.

I look forward to hiring Anderson and son again.

They contacted us immediately and the work was completed within a couple of days! We are very pleased with our new gravel driveway!

These guys are very professional, shows up on time, courteous, considerate, informative in regards to options offered for solutions regarding your project and are to be commended for being honest. My Driveway not only looks great, but does not wash out after a hard rain or storm as it did several times before. Great job Tim and Jerry!
