Response was immediate, and met face to face with Jerry Anderson, the owner. I had a slow-leak along ridge vent. Jerry went on the roof, took photos, and explained what was going on. That was on Friday, 10-26. The very next day they were back, ready to work. The work was very satisfactorily completed on Saturday, 10-27. Their work came with a 3-year, no-leak guarantee. No money changed hands until the job was finished. Simply amazing response!! My wife and I were very pleased, and would highly recommend Jerry, his son Cody...and the rest of the Anderson Pros.

The work on both occassions was quick to start and they worked through until they finished. The crew was professional and did not waste any time. The end results were great and we would use them again if the need arises.

It went great! Jerry diagnosed the problem right away. When the roof was reshingled 10 years ago, there was a portion of the roof where the roofers used too much pressure with the nail gun. This portion started to leak. Jerry recommended we just replace this one portion and his roofers could blend it all together. They came and did the work and now it's fixed! In fact, they showed me the rusty nails they pulled from this portion of the roof. The original company I used is no longer in business. I am so glad that Jerry could repair this without me having to replace the whole roof!

Cody came out and did good work. There have been no leaks at nine months.

Mr. Anderson returned my call and came promptly as promised. He clearly explained what the problem was, showed pictures of the problem areas, and explained what should be done. The work was completed the next day. They were very professional and courteous and I would recommend this company to others.

Mr. Anderson was a professional and incredibly prompt and courteous. Came out quickly and gave a clear written estimate. He even called and spoke with the home warranty representative on our behalf so they could approve our work for reimbursement! When the crew arrived, they were quick, professional and respectful. They kindly agreed to do a very small "favor" for me that required being high on a ladder--something they have no problem with but yours truly has no business doing! I highly recommend this outfit for roofing service.

In June 2014 the roof over the porch was leaking. Jerry Anderson came out and looked at it. He said the roof was in good condition, there were just some small areas that had openings which needed to be sealed. In July 2014 his crew applied a Leak Barrier. He said the job had a 5 year Leak Warranty. We hired him because of the 5 year warranty. <br> <br>In April we had a heavy rain and the roof over the porch leaked in 2 places. We called Anderson Roofing and got his voicemail. We left a message asking him to call us back. That was on April 7th. We also sent him an email. On April 12th we left another voicemail message. Today is May 4th and he has not called us back. A 5 Year Warranty is no good if he won't even call you back. <br> <br>

They were very professional and came on time to inspect the roof and complete the job. This was the second time I have used Anderson Roofing & Windows Systems. They do not accept payment until the job is completed and you are satisfied. I will use them again.

On both occasions, I was able to make quick contact and get a quote within 24 hours from Jerry.  In both cases, the work was completed within another 24 hours. <br> <br>The work was supposed to be covered with a warranty.  It has been a couple months since the last job was completed.  I'm still having trouble with one of the roof leaks.  I've left multiple voicemails and text messages and received no response. <br> <br>

I hired Anderson Roofing to repair 2 leaks on my roof - a leaking skylight and the roof leaking onto my back porch.  Jerry came that week to provide an estimate of $1500 to fix the 2 leaks and do some minor repairs he recommended such as nail pops.  His son Cody came very responsively and said he completed the job and I paid in full.  Their demeanors and professionalism seemed excellent.  But then during the next rain, both roof leaks were still leaking and so I contacted Jerry.  Cody came back out to repair the leaks.  This continued for a few visits during 2015 and at one point the skylight was temporarily fixed by Cody.  The porch ceiling continued to leak.  I kept asking if someone else should come to figure it out but received no response.  Halfway through continuing contact with Jerry, he would not respond.  I then wrote him through Angie's List and said I had no alternative but to provide a review of the facts that he did not fix the leaking porch roof which I had paid for even though he guaranteed his work.  After that contact, Cody contacted me and came back.  Each time Cody came, he was on the roof for short periods of time.  Never was the roof leak above the porch fixed.  Towards the end of 2015, I sent a final email through Angie's list asking them to repair what I had paid them for and received no response.  I also called Cody but he did not return my call.  I told them I would have to hire another roofer and then would have to provide the facts of what they did on Angie's List if they didn't fix what I had hired them to fix.  I gave them a month to do what I had hired them to do, but received no response at all.  I was so nice and patient with them, but they just stopped responding.  I hired another roofer in 2016 at which point the skylight started to leak again, and the porch ceiling was still leaking.  They told and showed me that there was 'a lot' of caulk on these areas.  The new roofers removed the flashing and cricket around the chimney which is the area above the leak onto the porch and it was sopping wet - totally rotted.  It turned out that the metal roof and flashing around the skylights above the sunroom and back porch was leaking and the wood beneath the metal was all wet. The new roofers now have to replace that part of the roof.  They showed me pictures of all the rot from the leaking.  So I wasted $1500 paying Anderson roofing as their cosmetic caulking did not solve the problem.  Nor did they ever diagnose the problem.  They were trying to patch the leaks and then the rot would have only grown to a much worse problem.  Luckily the caulking that Anderson Roofing did not fix the leaks, else I would have had a bigger issue in the long run because I would not have known about all the rot due to the leaking.  I am grateful now that I have a knowledgeable roofer who has diagnosed and showed me in pictures all the rot from the leaking.  My knowledgeable roofer was here with 4 others for an entire day plus a couple of hours on 2 other days and charged me less than $1150 to repair all the rot around the chimney and built new flashing and a cricket around the chimney, but since the porch ceiling leaked after that they lifted the metal roof  around the chimney and saw the bigger issue.  My new roofers are refunding me the majority of the money I paid them and will redo that entire area of roofing.  Cody was never here as many hours as my new roofer was here.  Cody and one other roofer came each time he came, but the new roofers had 5 people here for many more hours than Cody and his one roofer was here total.  Therefore the $1500 I paid Anderson for patching trying to stop the leaks was not only lost due to them never fixing the problem, but they never diagnosed the problem in the first place.  Additionally the amount of money I paid Anderson for their ineffective work far exceeded the amount of money I paid my new roofers considering the number of hours and people that my new roofers have spent here to figure the problem out.  Now it will cost me a lot more, but at least all the damage from the leaking will be removed and that area of my roof will be replaced. <br />

They performed the repair and did proper clean up. However, later in the year I had another leak in the same spot. As part of the work guarantee, I called them back about the leak, emailed them, and called several more times. No response was ever given. I ended up putting a new roof on from another contractor <br />

Mr. Jerry Anderson was very prompt in returning my initial call and stopped by the house within a few hours to assess the work that needed to be done and give me an estimate. He sent me a written estimate before the end of the day. He was able to start and finish the job within a few days of my initial call. He was pleasant to work with and does honest work. I highly recommend using him and will use him if I need a roofer in the future. <br />

After the heavy rains we noticed we had a very leaking roof. <br /> Most roofers either put off giving a quote or stated they could not do the work <br /> for 3 to 6 months AND estimated almost twice going rate. Mr Anderson was able <br /> to respond quickly and gave the lowest estimate as well as including waste <br /> disposal and cleanup. (Some of the roofers wanted us to handle the debris). We <br /> were VERY happy with his work and the end product is very attractive. He was knowledgeable <br /> and polite. He walked us thru every step and offered very sound advice. Still have the leak. Have called approximately 6-7 times to try and get Anderson to come back out to fix the issue. Had to threaten legal action to get a call back. The guy from Anderson called right back and said they would have at 11 am the next day. This was about two weeks ago. No call no show. At the least could have the decency to call me to tell me he was not going to show up for scheduled appointment. If this is the run around i am getting I would never use them again. Paid $750.00 and still have a leak.

The initial installation went just fine. I called Jerry back about some leaks and he came right back. But now after some heavy rain in Charleston, my back porch is leaking in several spots. I have left Mr. Anderson at least 3 messages over the last 2 weeks, and tried at least 5 other times to reach him. He has not returned my calls and now you cannot reach him at all, his mailbox stays full day after day. So much for the service he had promised me, this is very disappointing. It turns out he is just like all the rest, no service after the sale. So much for my warranty.
