ANDRE EXCAVATION & SEWER SVC

Orangeburg sewer line broke and line was totally blocked. Andre Excavation and Sewer excavated the line and burst the orangeburg pipe. The line was repaired followed by back fillng and compacting. We, ages 81 and 83, were able to remain in the home. We recommend Andre Excavation and Sewer Service most highly.

<p>The work started very quickly. There was ice forming at the leak site, so the contractor wanted to stop the leak and allow the area to clear so they could dig at the site of the problem. The morning after I confirmed working with Andre Excavation, the team was at my home connecting my home with an alternate water source so I would not be without water while the work was being completed.</p> <p>Unfortunately, the work could not continue because of the freezing temperatures. Once the weather warmed up enough that the city would inspect the job once completed, the contractor worked to correct the problem. The job was completed very quickly and they scheduled the inspection quickly so they could fill in the dig site and clean up.</p> <p>I appreciated the quick communication by this contractor. From start to finish he quickly answered my calls and responded to any messages I left.</p> <p><br /></p> <br />

After 1st estimate was so high we would have had to take out a new mortgage I was recommended Andre. I called for an estimate and when I gave him my address he said he'd be right over as to my surprise he was right across the street doing a repair. He came over looked at the problem and gave me estimates based on how bad the break turned out to be. He made a schedule for the repair and was there on time. He found that it was a break that was easier repaired and did not require a complete dig up and ended up save me some money by being under estimate. Would not hesitate to recommend or to use him again.

The work went smooth - the workers coordinated/paid for the final pumping of the tank before pulling it. The old tank was awkwardly located between the trailer house and our 500 gal propane tank, beside an overgrown Russian Olive tree. They did a very nice job trimming back the tree, and I coordinated for them to drive through our neighbor's property to acces the area. They had to take down part of a barbwire fence to excavate/install, but mended the fence when they were finished - better than it was before. The whole job was done in a day's work, and they re-used the riser we had, installing it over the access hatch to facilitate future pumping of the tank. Mike and his guys were very easy to work with and are definitely there to get the job done right the first time. <br />

Mike was quick to respond, kept me in the loop regarding progress, what they were finding, etc. He was professional and showed expertise in the problem. I would absolutely hire him again.
