Moving Company / Reginald Perry ​Timeline of Events: ​8:50 AM: Pro called to confirm arrival. ​9:17 AM: Work officially began after the movers spent 27 minutes "getting situated" and signing the initial contract. ​10:50 AM: Loading was complete (approx. 1.5 hours of work). ​11:30 AM: Delivery to new home was complete. ​Total Work Time: Less than 2.5 hours (well under the 3-hour flat rate window). ​ I am a cancer patient and was subjected to a "Bait and Switch" by this pro. ​The Agreement: We agreed to a $450 flat rate for 3 hours. I explicitly told the pro I was recording the agreement for our mutual protection, and he acknowledged the $450 price multiple times. ​ Throughout the morning, the pro repeatedly pressured me for payment, asking "Do you have my money?" and demanding payment before the job was even finished. ​Despite finishing in under 3 hours, the pro scratched out the $450 price on the contract to justify a higher bill. He is now claiming I owe an additional $150 for "time" that does not exist. He didn't complete the move because he left furniture rushing me I had 14 boxes thats it 1 tv. I paid him additional money and i want my money back. i have a signed contract and recordings with bank statements ​Current Status: I have paid a total of $510 via Cash App (the $450 base + $60 under duress) and tipped the movers $75 in cash. ​ I request a refund of the $60.00 overage and for Angi to intervene to stop the pro from coming to my home this Wednesday for the fraudulent $90 balance. I also tip the driver's 75 I have a 100% clear audio recording of the $450 flat-rate agreement available upon request." Im also filing a complaint with Louisiana State Police Household Goods Carriers" (movers) I have receipts with time stamps bank statements and phone calls i even have my own agreement and i asked mr Reginald on the recording do he consent to be recorded he stated yes He fave me red flags bc he kept repeating u gone have my money we dont start unless money in hand when we arrive cash or cash app he said im going to give u the in town rate bc u moving to Baton rouge and we love helping ppl. he moved 13 bags of clothes no furniture i still have to get movers because he rushed me so much i left 60 percent at the home he started at 9:17am and completed at 10am ask his employee they were done unloading at 12:09pm and its documented with receipts. i have video recordings and bank statements and physical supporting evidence. when i selected yes I have attachments or evidence when i went to upload the documents it wiped this web form clean and didnt attach the evidence something is wrong bc it wont allpw me to upload and I have clear audio recording also.

Movers were ok, minus being reckless with dragging things across flooring. Customer service was horrible. The boss laughed at me when I complained about his movers scratching our week old floors.

This little company was the best I’ve used thus far! They’re so polite and efficient. They were able to move us out of a two bedroom third-story apartment to another two bedroom third-story apartment in 3 hours. We got 4 guys as opposed to the usual 2, and it was all for a great value. I would definitely recommend them to others and use them again!
