We initially felt as though things were going well. We had some concerns about the subfloor especially at the transition from the kitchen (old laminate flooring) to the living room (old carpet), but the team reassured us it was good to go. Regarding the transition, there was a height difference that Miguel believed he could fix by using some leveling compound and creating a gradual slope. They did the entire job in roughly 12 hours and initially things looked good enough, so I paid $2,000 before they left. As we did a more thorough walkthrough, we found a handful of issues (listed below) and alerted Miguel to our concerns. In good faith, we paid them another $800 (half the remaining balance) and he said he'd come back to fix the problems. Last communication from Miguel was 11/11/2025. I've followed up on 11/15, 11/16, and 11/20 without any responses and messages left on read. Concerns/Issues needing follow-up: 1) Flooring not level especially at the kitchen to family room transition point. When walking on this area the floor flexes and "clicks" as it eventually makes contact with the subfloor. We have concerns that the flooring could break or separate over time by far our biggest concern. 2) Nail missed the quarter round and is sticking up out from the floor. This broke the LVP and is a safety issue. 3) There appears to be some separation occurring between two boards where the height transition is. 4) Stair nose installed incorrectly with nails. Instructions state to use adhesive. Piece is now damaged/warped and nails are exposed underneath causing safety issue. 5) There are gaps in the flooring under the pedestal sink water lines in the half bath. We had covers, but they do not cover the work done. 6) Toilet is no longer level and teeters when using. 7) TV broken - unfortunately we cannot prove the contractors did this, so this is the lowest item on our complaint board.

They were prompt, responsive and handled the job very well. The room looks great! They even handled some of the cleanup afterwards. Miguel did a really good job.

Miguel did a great job removing our carpet and installing our vinyl plank flooring, even with some mishaps with some damaged flooring that had been delivered from our vendor. I would 100% hire him again!
