He and the other worker are inconsistent on the days and times that they were even here and working. One worker took a very long lunch break and appeared to have fallen asleep in his truck when we were gone. Then he said had no materials and could not continue to work. He left at 3pm. He would leave to do another job, when there was still work to be done for us. Since the 2nd payment, he has not shown up again. He wanted $500 of the last payment before work was completed, but we wouldn?t pay more without finishing the job. He will not return our calls. (Graded F for overall, C for price, C for quality, F for responsiveness, F for punctuality, F for professionalism, and that I would not use them again) UPDATE AS OF 2/17/16: The contractor has completed the job and we reached an agreement with the service provider. We no longer are seeking a complaint through Angie's List against Antonio Drywall Repair & Texture. We also updated the grades for this provider.

Awesome. The job was completed as contracted and the workers completed in record time. I was impressed and pleased. <br />

We moved back into our old rental home and needed to do several upgrades including paint the whole house. We did quite a bit by ourselves but ran out of time and energy as we got to the end. I bought this big deal and they were awesome. They came in and did a great job finishing the bathrooms and the two story staircase. The work was better than we were able to do. They even made nice crisp lines up to our old popcorn ceilings. We will use them again some time in the future. <br />

Antonio and his crew of two arrived on time, set up and worked quickly and efficiently. They protected surrounding areas and cleaned up well after their work. <br /> After they finished their work, the ceiling looked brand new. I would highly recommend them and would definitely use them again. <br />

<p>They were floppy, they did not do everything they were asked. They were not very professional and the quality was bad. I am not going to recommend them to other people. </p>

The price might be reasonable. They were the first one out here, so that helped, did good work, and really couldn't match the paint so went ahead and repaint the whole ceiling and I don't think they gave me additional cost.

They did a good job, and did it fairly quickly. They did painting for a rental property.

I am very pleased. Antonio's workers always arrive on time, work hard and clean up. I like the way his crew repairs the Sheetrock before they paint. I have had Antonio's crew do several jobs and I have never been disappointed. <br />

Antonio sent out Robert from Robert Gonzalez Painting. Robert was great! Very professional. Also did touchups to exterior paint of house since he was to be here 8 hours. <br />

We had partial removed the old wall paper but had problems with it tearing up the drywall.  We also had a ceiling area that had water damage from the air conditioner overflow.  He repaired the damaged drywall and ceiling areas and then applied texture to all the walls.  Finished the job quickly and did an excellent job at cleaning up the work area.  Very reasonable and professional. <br />

They would not do the popcorn ceiling because they recommended spray painting those type of ceilings. Is that not still painting? Then he told me that he would not be doing the moulding and door frames because they needed sanding first. I needed to know that so it could have been done in advance. The contract was for eight hours and they were done in four. Have to say what they did do was neat and well done, but I think there was a lack of communication or not understanding as the customer what "eight hours of painting " entailed. <br />

I was happy with their work the walls look great. However, they don't put everything back the way they found it.

The garage ceiling had fallen down on one of the vehicles. We started looking for 'handymen' to repair the ceiling. We received two estimates. One wasn't interested in doing 'small' jobs. The other kept adding more hours, manpower to complete it, and it may have taken more than one day. We thought the estimated cost of over $2,200.00, from this particular handymen service, was totally unreasonable. <br /> I went back on Angie's List a few days later, and found two more services. My husband decided on "Antonio Drywall Repair & Texture". Called Antonio Garcia on Wednesday, June 26 regarding an estimate. Made an appointment for Friday, June 28th at 12 noon. Mr. Garcia called to say he was running late and would be at our home at 2:00 pm. He arrived at 1:59 pm. After talking with my husband, a firm price was decided upon. We got back to Mr. Garcia that same day. <br /> Mr. Garcia had to check his schedule to see when the work could be done and would get back to us. He called on Tuesday to confirm if Wednesday, July 3 would be okay at 9:30 am to begin the work. My husband said, 'yes'. At exactly 9:00 am (1/2 hour earlier) the workers (2) were at our home and ready to go. They removed the rest of the stuff from the attic, cleared out the old installation. Fixed plywood, sheet rock, and installed a pull-down ladder. Replaced what we wanted to save back in the new attic area, put back items that were housed in the garage, swept, hosed the garage floor, and hauled away what we no longer wanted. <br /> Mr. Garcia and his staff were professional, polite, punctual, hard working, and did a very good job in <em>under</em> six hours. We were pleased that they <strong>DID</strong> do 'small' jobs. <br />

This was $199 coupon for 8 hours of work. It could have been split between 2 people for 4 hours of work each. The owner came with his assistant and left after he did a walk through with us. The assistant stayed and did the spackling work. The owner returned nearly two hours later when the assistant was done. He had us sign the paperwork for payment and said he would come back to paint the areas. We could never get in touch with him again - he just wouldn't return our phone calls.  I would not recommend this contractor. We effectively paid him $199 for 2 hours of work. We assumed we had no recourse with Angies List since we signed paperwork before he completed the job. <br />

I wasn't very happy with it. The guy was okay but it was just that you purchase so much but then it's really not enough so they had to add prices on top of it. The job didn't get finished, I ended up having to hire someone else to do it. They were just slow.

We had a large crack in our ceiling that we wanted repaired. Antonio came to our home and told us he didn't think it would be a problem repairing the crack. He and his worker arrived on time. The worker draped our furniture and got to work. It took about 4 hours, but the crack was repaired and you can't even tell it was repaired. We would definitely use Antonio's Drywall Repair and Texture again. The only negative is that some of the plaster got on the cabinets/floor and I had to spend some time afterward removing it (I'd ask them to drape a little better). All in all, we were very happy with the service and they were less expensive than other quotes we'd received. <br />

Antonio was personable and gave a quote immediately on site which was fair and made sense.  His workers who <br /> tag teamed throughout a three day project, were scrupulous in putting down paper and cleaning up and executed nearly flawless work, patching,  adding texture and painting.   He showed up late one day, but called to tell me why he was delayed.  He frequently checked in with the workers and asked frequently for my feedback.  We are happy with the result.
