They weren't playing games, they gave us the fair price possible, they were honest and they did what they said they would. They were very professional and provided good quality work.

Based on the few good reviews at that time, and on several referrals from prior customers who loved him, I hired Anything Wet to build my pool in 2014. One of the selling points was that they build a much thicker pool than is typical. (9” thick vs. 6”). I was told that Pat was a hands-on contractor and that I would see him on the job. He never introduced himself to me and I only met him by accident. It was a rare occasion when he was onsite. I should have been alarmed when the plumber that came to install the valves refused to install what he called “used junk”. I am very thankful that the guy insisted on having new equipment. I ordered an expensive automated system. It was not set up properly. I had to have the Hayward Rep come to my house to rewire the pump and program it properly. Anything Wet did not assist in having this happen. It was all on me. My primary complaint is that Anything Wet does not provide good service. Do not believe anything that they say regarding leak guarantees or any other warranty provisions. When my pool heater broke (with a 5-year manufacturer warranty) after a year, they would not even call anyone to service it. I had to find someone else, who thankfully fixed it under warranty. This is something that I would expect the pool builder to handle. My pool deck started to collapse right away. Anything Wet sent someone out to fix it a couple of times early on (not from the decking company). The repairs that were done were done only addressed the worst collapsed places and did not last. The deck sank around the skimmer, around the deck jets, and in several places around the coping. Some of the smaller cut pieces fell into holes. The last time I called regarding this, they said it was not under warranty and would not even call anyone for us. I am as I write this finally having it redone at my own expense. Another issue is that the pool developed leaks. I was told that they guaranteed against leaks. That is one reason that I went with them. They would not even return my call when I called about the leaks. I had the leaks fixed by another company. I see that the few reviews that are on Angie’s list are good 2014 and earlier and very bad after that. I concur. I contracted to have my pool build in 2014. I have not had good service and wish that I had used a different company.

Started out good. They even called to ask if they could start earlier. Beware of this company. After they come and on job for a week or more they disappear. They worked on my pool like it was a construction site. Its a community in existence and my neighbors were complaining about their cleanup procedures. They said they would cleanup my back area, I have pictures of their work ethics. NOT GOOD! They nickel and dime you after they start work, then its too late cause they always have a better way BUT its always more money. They want their money before they even start work. I had leaks due to their work and they said they were going to CHARGE ME for their poor workmanship. Their staff hang up on you, tell you they will call back, DON”T, tell you their staff is going to show, they DON”T. Brought new heater and light system, they didnt properly set it up.. changed to salt and their pool service, is the same, call the office when there is a need to have a correction. NO, NO would NEVER recommend this company, they started the job in FEB and didnt finish until April. They never came back after I advised the pool was leaking. NO NO

I have never written a review on any business before, but I found my experience with this disreputable company so severe that I felt compelled to warn others before they enter into a business relationship with them. First, if you still choose to consider their services, make sure to read the contract front, and back in full with a lawyer. You'll find that you are basically signing away all of your rights to them in case of a dispute. You'll be required to pay all of their costs in a law suit, which gives them pretty much carte blanche to do whatever they want. We contracted them to rebuild a 30x15 pool and add a 22x12 sun shelf, spa, palm tree planters (in the pool) and water features The price was around $45,000. The project started poorly, and got worse from there. We had clearly marked our new irrigation lines and sprinkler heads both with red spray paint and flags. Their backhoe operator ignored those marking and broke the main feed lines and sprinkler heads with his backhoe. Once realizing he did so, he continued to dig up another 22 feet of the lines. When we objected to the carnage he created, he pointed to a very obscure part on the back of the contract where we allow him to damage whatever he wanted to without any recourse. When they built the pool shell, they ran two of the pool water return lines buried into the floor of the pool instead of instead of being positioned properly in the walls. They said, "don't worry, we'll fix it later". Once the walls were plastered and tiled, they told us they now couldn't be fixed. We filled the pool and had a leak, draining four inches per day. After two weeks of refilling the pool (they asked us to do so at our expense), they found they forgot to seal the pool lights in the pool. Then there was the contract. We had ordered a pool with fully automated valves. Stated clearly on the contract, Hayward Basic Automation. When the pool was done we discovered that only half of the valves were automated. They told us that's what we paid for. We said that's not we discussed. Their response was that we could have gone on the internet to the Hayward site to discover that the system they specified didn't have the capacity to automate all the valves. We then noticed that there wasn't enough pressure to make all the water features work. They had specified the pool, with one pump. Again we questioned this, and they told us for the water features to work properly, we would need a second pump. They said the engineer who specified the pool, under engineered it. It was their specification and their engineer, but they said we would have to pay extra for a second pump. Another friend of ours, who had their pool done by them, was sold the same bill of goods. We had a meeting, and they agreed for an additional $1,000 (which they said was their cost), they would make all the valves automatic, and all the water features would function independently. Further, the would install a second 2hp pump to feed the water features. We agreed to this. They added the pump, but when the owner discovered that he would have to upgrade to a more expensive control box to automate the remaining valves, he reneged on the agreement and now claimed the $1,000 was for only for a $400 pump. While this was going on, he installed the specified Hayward gas heater. It didn't work. He called the service company. When they opened the cabinet, parts of the inside were rusted. I took pictures of it and questioned the repairman if that looked right.. He said he would check it out. I had to leave, when I returned home there was a note saying the unit could not be fixed under warranty. The unit wasn't covered as it was already registered under warranty to another name and address. What Anything Wet had installed was either a used or rebuilt unit that they attempted to pass off as new. With the threat of a criminal complaint, the hurriedly replaced the unit and blamed it on the distributor. I've read many other negative reviews of this company and they respond by immediately attacking their ex-clients as unreasonable or trouble makers. I assure you I'm neither. This company is disreputable, and doesn't deserve my business or anyone else's. Don't say you weren't warned.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! HORRIBLE WORK HORRIBLE WORKERS. THEY HAVE BEEN IN THIS BUSINESS UNDER MULTIPLE NAMES. READ REVIEWS. ANY REVIEW WITH MORE THAN 0-1 STARS I NOT SURE I WOULD BELIEVE. We initially hired Anything Wet Pools to build us an outdoor kitchen. On February 12, 2014 we gave Anything Wet Pools $1200 to do the drawings and renderings. On March 6, 2014 we gave them a check of $2500 as a deposit for the kitchen. We decided afterwards that we wanted Anything Wet Pools to do some remodeling on our pool in addition to building the kitchen. On April 22, 2014 we signed the contract for pool remodel and gave them another $3000. ****** and **** ******** told us that they would file for permitting with Palm Beach Gardens right away and as soon as the permitting is approved, they would start the pool within a few days. We called Anything Wet Pools on May 6 to follow up with pool permits to see if they got submitted and left several messages over a few days. When someone finally got back to us on May 13, 2014, they said they just submitted the drawings that day. When we questioned Anything Wet Pools about the delay and not getting phone calls returned in a timely manner, we were told that they were very busy because they just did a road show over the weekend and got a big response from it. We periodically checked with Palm Beach County permitting department to see if our plans were approved. We called Anything Wet Pools on May 27th, 2014 to let them know that we were approved since they had no idea we were and to see when they could start. We left messages for **** and when we never heard back from her, sent her an email letting her know that we have been trying to contact her. When they finally returned our multiple messages, we were told that they were in the middle of jobs and couldn't just stop in the middle of a job and come to us. They told us that we wouldn't want that done to us either, which we understood. After about a week, we contacted them again and were told that our pool would be drained at the end of the week and they would start. After discussions later during that week with Anything Wet Pools, we were told that they wouldn't be able to start until Monday June 9 as they got backed up a day because of the rain which we again understood. I emailed them Friday June 6, to confirm starting on Monday, June 9. **** ******** emailed me back on June 6 stating that she wouldn't know if they would be able to start and couldn't tell me until the morning of June 9. She needed to make sure that a particular job was finished over the weekend. She assured me that the latest start would be Wednesday June 11. June 9 came and went and Anything Wet never showed up. They didn't come on Tuesday or Wednesday either. When we called the office, we were told that they were in the middle of moving their showroom so they couldn't start yet. They had every excuse when we told them that starting our pool is not something new and a surprise, and they shouldn't delay our pool further. **** ********* had a lengthy conversation with **** stating that everything they have told us up to this point has not been truthful and she feels very uncomfortable using there company. **** explained that ****** from Anything Wet Pools initially told us before we signed the contract, that he would have everything done before the end of May because then we would be getting into the rainy season. He also told us it would take two weeks to finish the pool and 3 days to build the kitchen and then we would have to wait two weeks for the granite to be fabricated and installed. **** explained to **** that being told it would be done at the end of May and the time frame that ****** gave, we planned a big 4th of July party in our newly designed backyard. It was at this time that **** informed me that the pool would definitely not be done by then and basically called my wife a liar, stating that ****** would never have given those time parameters. She was nasty and yelled quite a bit at ****. We were also told that the drawing we agreed to on our pool had to be changed. We planned on extending our steps but were told the water is to deep to step into and that they would have to build a sun shelf instead which we did not want and don't like. We were stuck between a rock and a hard place because there was no other solution. We couldn't understand how come we were just told this two months after the contract was signed and right before work was started. As you can imagine, we started becoming quite concerned with this company and the lies and being strung along. We did some research with the Better Business Bureau and saw many complaints. It was astonishing to read all of the complaints that had the exact same experience as us. Again, we were stuck between a rock and a hard place since we already gave $9700 to Anything Wet. FINALLY, on On June 18, two men from Anything wet Pools came to start the demolition. The men worked for a few hours and then left. The two men never moved or covered any of our outdoor furniture and other items which got covered in dirt and dust. After the 2 men left our back yard our back lights to our house were broken, and still are not working. ********* from Anything Wet Pools called me to tell me that we had to leave another check for $3000 since they started the excavation which we promptly did. The men came back at 11 am the next day and worked until 12:30 because then the afternoon rain came. The men didn't show up the rest of the week and then we were out of town for a week. When we were out of town the following week but had someone staying at our house who would give us an update on the pool. Nobody came back after we gave them the $3000. Nothing else was done when we returned form our vacation on June 28. When we called on Monday June 30, to find out why nothing had been done for a week, we were given every excuse but promised they would be at the house on Tuesday July 1. Tuesday morning we got a call from them saying that their truck broke down and they couldn't come. July 2 and 3 still broken truck and still no workers at my house. At this point, we were more then fed up and tired of lies and excuses. We sent them an email on July 2, 2014 letting them know that we were extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism and were tired of this project being dragged out since February. When **** questioned **** if the workers come every day from 9-5 or if not, how often should we expect them since they only worked a couple of hours so far, **** said she couldn't answer that. It was at this point, that we seriously started to question if we even wanted them to continue when the truck was fixed. We did some research with Palm Beach County Courts and found that they had many lawsuits against them. We also contacted a few people that used them and told us that their finished product was substandard It was on Sunday July 6, that we received an email that the truck was fixed and they would be there Monday morning. *** responded to email telling them not to come. ********* from Anything wet Pools contacted *** July 7 to see what was going on. We had never spoken with ********* and had no idea who she was. We were told she was the owners wife. It was during this conversation that *** stated he would like a full refund from Anything wet Pools for the kitchen and reimbursement for the pool. ********* said she would get back to *** as she needed to talk to her husband and never followed up with ***. *** gave it a couple of weeks and then followed up with Stephaine before contacting his attorney, giving them one more chance to do the right thing. ********* made an excuse that she was out for personal reasons so she didn't get back to *** but would get back to him about the full refund but right now would only give the kitchen money back. It was at this time, that we let them know that we would be contacting our attorney because we no longer wanted to chase them down and listen to lies and excuses….5 months of this unprofessional behavior was enough. Since then, We went to Palm Beach Gardens permitting department to obtain our architectural plans that w

Signed contract in May, said start in 3 weeks, started 3 months later.  Pat DaCruz(owner) then came out and said needed another $1200 to begin work b/c the deck jets could not be in the deck but on the grass.  So rude, unprofessional.  Pool was then finished and leaking.  Took weeks for them to come and check the leak, finally came to check and claimed was not there fault!  was not leaking prior to them changing diamond brite/plaster.  Finally needed to have pool leak fixed, and the company said def the pool companies fault and we have the pipe that they put in which was broke, hence causing leak!  Also ruined pavers around the coping of the pool.  Had those fixed as well and paver company said how dangerous it was. <br /> It cost us over $2000 to fix the things that they claimed was not there fault once the pool was finished. <br /> Awful, disgusting, and rude people-only nice people was the one who came out to give estimate and I hear he isn't their anymore.... <br />

There was a start but no finish. They were happy to walk away and start another project. It's all about their Draw intervals. Even if the work isn't desired and finished to your liking, nothing will get done unless you pay more money to see what's behind curtain number 3!

Buyer beware. Anything Wet Pools and Spa's is the most unprofessional and unreliable firm that I've had the misfortune to do business with. The quality of the resurfacing is beyond belief. We called and emailed them numerous times without any response. There was a large stain and discoloration on the pool bottom before the pool was filled. Of course, nothing is their responsibility which is now their position after no word from them for months. The only time that they were efficient was when their payments were due during the process. We are seeking remedy and hope that no one else will make a costly mistake in doing business with this outfit. <br />
Response from Anything Wet Pools & Spa
"We were hired by Mr. and Mrs. (member name removed) to perform a re-plaster, install new waterline tile, coping and install two white lights for their pool. After the job was completed, we had offered the client a Fire Up service in which we emphasized is very crucial when plastering a pool; the client declined this service, stating that they would perform the Fire Up service themselves. Our company at this point emailed proper instructions on how to perform a Fire Up on a pool. We have documentation of our company sending the instructions and we can provide them again at any point in time since we give this to all of our clients who decide to go in the same direction as Mr. and Mrs. (member name removed). Regarding the alleged statement that the client had contacted us on February 19th, 2014 in reference to the stain in the deep end and the “inconsistent color in the right hand side of the pool near the steps”, we do have documentation that they had emailed and gave notes about the staining. The next day, on February 20th, 2014, the owner of the company went out to the clients’ property to put the initial chemicals and to address the issue. At no point in time did the client raise the issue of another complaint of a large area in the shallow end of the pool appearing to have "little material spread on the bottom of the pool". All material is laid and or spread in the same thickness throughout the entire pool. When the client had emailed us referring to a discoloration/stain in the shallow end of the pool near the steps (February 19th, 2014), again nothing was ever stated in regards to the "less material being spread". As we stated previously, the discoloration would have and should have been taken care of IF the Fire Up procedure was done correctly. The Fire Up process includes proper chemistry to the following levels; 1) Free Chlorine, 2) PH (Acid), Total Alkalinity, 3) Calcium Hardness and 4) Stabilizer, 5) brushing of the entire poo /spa, 6) cleaning of the filter, 7) and adjusting the pump timer to normal operating hours. If a Fire Up process is not performed correctly, IT WILL cause scaling and encrustations on the pool plasters well as allowing calcium and other minerals to build up which WILL eventually cause the ENTIRE system to shut down. As far as the "time of the day" the application of the material was installed, it bears no significance in reference with the discoloration of the plaster. With most cases of discoloration, it has to do with the Fire Up procedure being performed correctly, not with what type of light is being used to benefit the workers sight. This is why we time after time again strongly recommend to all of our clients, regardless of which company does the job, to have the Fire Up process performed. On April 24th, 2014, the client contacted us again via email regarding the stain that the water from the ladder was causing. We then scheduled and sent a technician to perform a spot removal treatment at no charge to our customer on Thursday, May 8th, 2014. It was at this time that the client was informed that the stain was coming from inside the ladder that was already installed prior to our company performing any type of work on this property. The client was informed that water causing the stain was inside the ladder, this causes rust and then drips on to the plaster, which is very common and should come out during the Fire Up process. This is a very easy fix and should have been fixed IF the Fire Up procedure is/was performed properly BY a licensed technician, as we have stated before. We then offered the Fire Up service for the second time, which the client again declined regardless of our advice. Our last correspondence with this client was on May 8th 2014. This means we did not nor have we ever ignored the client's concerns."

Worst contractor we have ever come into contact with... <br /> 90 days later we have little to nothing to show for our time and money.... <br /> We received a stained diamond bright pool with incomplete fountains...ripped up patio brick and broken sprinklers....still sitting over two months after they started....the pool start up went badly... they did not treat the pool before filling it or cleaned the sand out that they left after making a mess with our bricks... <br /> We have no summer kitchen because we caught them trying to install a design we did not approve on top of the brick instead of on a slab that we paid to have installed and meet "code"... <br /> We get no return phone calls...no return emails...no reply to texts and voice mails ..or two certified letters. <br /> We did get an unannounced visit a couple weeks ago during non business hours, where "Pat the owner" let himself into our back yard and stated verbally abusing/yelling at my wife....very unprofessional! <br />
Response from Anything Wet Pools & Spa
"This is completely unjust. We have sent this client numerous (4) drawings on a project that we were hired for. In the beginning the first drawing was fine according to this client. We started the work and order the material that was needed. Then the client wanted changes done, which is fine, we had 3 more drawings performed which the client would not come to an agreement on. Now this client has also called the office staff and was beyond belligerent., this also includes texts messages sent to us as well as threatening emails to our staff which we will not tolerate. Sadly we cannot control weather, we to also have have schedules to abide by. Upon showing on the site to continue work our crew was yelled at. This client has threatened us by stating he would and will write negative comments / reviews about our company. We are happy to to perform work that clients hire us for."

I highly recommend Anything Wet to do any pool work you may need done.  They were reliable, easy to work with, and always responsive with any concerns or questions, even after being paid in full!! <br /> Our pool, deck and new jacuzzi turned out beautiful.  We are very happy with the results. <br /> Pat, the owner, is a very hard worker.  He is actually on the job working along side his team.  He was here many days late into the evening.   The job was completed as said once permitting was complete.   <br /> Can't say enough good things about Anything Wet. I talked with many companies before choosing them and I'm glad I chose them.  Their pricing is competitive and the workmanship and service is great!   Again I would recommend them and actually have already to several people! <br />

Total cost of contract at end of August was about $12,000 and work to be supposedly completed in about 3 weeks.  $2,500 was given at the end of August.  After 7 weeks of broken appointments, failure to return calls, and constant lies, work began.  As soon as pool stripping and new coping work was nearly done we received a call demanding the second payment of $6,732.  There was also not enough material to finish the coping.  We said we wanted to pay once the paver work began.  A representative of this company called my wife and began screaming and threatening her.  I talked to the company representative and she indicated the work team would be there the next day to begin the pavers.  The paver work folks showed about a week later and we went ahead and paid them the fsecond day.  Big mistake on our part.  The next the day the workers did not come back, they did not complete the work, and the coping was still left unfished.  We were notified in the first part of November that we would have to pay for additional materials to complete the work!  This would amount to about $1,800. This to us sounded like extortion.  they wanted their money immediately and said the rest of the material would come in about a week or less later.  When we refused, the contractors walked off leaving the shortage in the coping, unfinished pavers, the pool plaster stripped, lights and wires hanging down, trash bags/waste pavers/waste pallets in the yard, and water collected in the pool turned to algae and slime.  We are now trying to find an attorney to see if we can fight this company.  In my opinion they are are absolutely con artists and crooks.  I would advise everyone to avoid this company at all costs, especially senior adults like us.  Owner of the compay is Pasquale (Pat) Dacruz, and his salesman's name is Larry Rule. <br />
