Mike showed-up on time and got started right away.  He removed the old flex hose that was leaking, which explains why there was a hole in the garage ceiling.  He then installed metal piping and cut a hole on the exterior house wall to vent the new piping.  The original flex hose went to the garage roof soffit and shouldn't have.  The job went well and so far, everything works fine. <br />

The Century Barn was disassembled, moved, and re-built by the property owners.   As much of the original siding as possible was used in the re-construction.  However, over time the elements caused quite a bit of replacement of the old wood siding. <br /> The homeowners decided to hire-out the painting of such a large structure.  Apex Painting and Tile had all the necessary equipment from brushes and sprayers to ladders. They even helped in the color selection and quality of the paint.  After masking the tile foundation and windows, special care was needed when applying the first spray coat of paint to adequately cover all the nooks and cracks in the weathered wood grain and be sure to blend paint over old wood surfaces with new.  Just moving the ladders around took time.  The painters had to move up and down constantly to get a vertical spray, top to bottom, to avoid a checkerboard paint finish.  Once the first coat was applied and dried a second coat was sprayed on.  The finished barn looks like new.  The clean-up was fast and complete.  This company wasted no time on the job.  They came, they painted, they left.  Another Century Barn lives on! <br />

The crew was prompt and professional.  They cleaned up after themselves.  The owner was present for the entire two day job.  The paint job looks great. <br />

They did a great job, one of the rooms had extra high ceilings and required scaffolding. He was awesome. He was on time, efficient, finished ahead of schedule and had great attention to detail. I would highly recommend him.

Super ! Can't say enough about this highly qualified professional company.  They painted at least 6 rooms removing wallpaper at no extra charge. Prices were fantastic and they were absolutely trustworthy with a work ethic rarely seen these days. They sent us pictures every step of the way , as we were out of town. Mike identified areas of concern and kept us aware of work done.  He was a dynamo and work was completed faster than we expected! Against my husband's advice, I decided I could remove the wallpaper in our dining room by myself. After several hours and very little progress, I threw in the towel. The problem was that we were having company come into town for the weekend and it looked awful! I reached out to three companies through Angie's list and Apex was the only one who responded. My husband talked to them on Monday and they were here on Thursday to complete the job. It looks great! They removed the wallpaper without damage to the sheetrock and did a great job with the painting. We have already talked to them about painting the basement and removing wallpaper in our master bath.

Apex was on time, polite and did nice work. He and his crew member worked fast and made sure everything was cleaned up and put back in place. I purchased a deal for $169 for a bedroom and had him come back for the basement. I feel the price was reasonable.

He worked around my schedule, chaos and last minute changes.  He made it easy and I would definitely call him to do more work in the future.

I purchased an Angie's List Deal of the Day for Room Painting.  I was contacted by Mike right away to schedule a time for the job.  I told him that I had additional work that needed to be done to the room and I would like a quote on that as well.  He showed up to our appointment (which is amazing for any contractor) and quoted me a great price to do the additional work.  We then scheduled the day for the project. That day,  he was here promptly and completed the job with no fuss.   He cleaned up the work area so it looked like he'd not even been there -- with the exception that my room looked great!

Apex were very conscientious about their work.  Arrive on time and did a good job inspecting the work after the job, offering to come back if any touchups were necessary.  Gave a follow up call after the paint was dry to make sure everything met expectations. <br />

The painting went well. There were some missed areas (lighting changed as evening approached). I called Mike back up the next morning and he came back and took care of all my concerns. Good attitude and great job! <br />

our bathroom walls look blotchy and uneven.  i had to re-roll two whole walls myself after i had already called him to come back the second time. <br /> <br />

called to schedule a time to come over right away. very, very, professional on the phone and in person. professionally dressed and right on time as we agreed. painting job is beautiful. the job was done in no time and looks like he spent all day. I will use him again in the future- excellent job! <br />

He did such a great job that I have already asked him back. He was punctual (actually arrived early) and professional. I would not hesitate to use his services in the future. I took some before and after pics just for fun. What a difference! The room was a dark midnight blue (If you have a teenage girl, you would understand).
