They evaluated the issue, told us the parts that needed to be replaced, and ordered them. He suggested I purchase an Angie's list coupon to save money, and I saved about $50. They came back 3 - 4 days later and replaced the parts. It's been working fine since. <br />

On first visit, moved refrigerator door a bit and that worked. On freezer, played around with the gasket; it worked for about 3 days, then ice again came back. Had them come back (within the 90 day warranty) to fix freezer again. All he did was squeeze the gasket around the door again, and said it would work. Never suggested another alternative to fix. Freezer again filled with ice. I do not recommend. And, I thought I was getting a deal for that 79.00. Yup, too good to be true. I definitely do not recommend <br />

My experience with them went well. I paid a total of $300. Everything was fair. That part that I had repaired went down. I have not contacted them yet, but the scheduling is all. They were several hours late.

On a Saturday morning, the service man originally assessed my ice maker that no longer produced ice, it was thought to be do to the motor being non-operational so another one was installed. The repairman told me that ice should start to be produced by the next day and to call him if no ice was produced. I noticed sometime after noon on Sunday that I had not heard the icemaker dropping any ice and called the company service. We set up another appt. time and he returned & said that my motor was not the problem, but the sensors that tell the motor to produce ice. He installed new sensors and refunded me the difference in cost from the motor. It was been working fine since then & now I have more ice than I know what to do with. <br />

Things went very well. Just like the Angie"s List reviews I had seen before selecting this provider, he was very prompt, professional and courteous. He worked me in within 24 hours so we could leave town on vacation the next day knowing our problems were fixed and our house-sitter would have a functioning sink and dishwasher while we were gone. The sink clog wasn't even part of my original work order request but he took time to take a look and repair on the spot. He then kindly rolled that repair into my $75 appliance repair price at no extra charge. Also of note and very important to me was the fact that he did not try to sell me something I did not need. I felt for sure I was going to need a new heating element after seeing how badly my knife handle had melted onto ours. Instead A Plus Appliances was able to clean my current heating element and prevent replacement saving us a lot of time and money. <br />

I wasn't sure if they served the Clinton, MD, area. but I took a chance and called anyway and I am very glad that I did. Not only did they service my area, I was surprised at how fast I was able to get an appointment. Despite the last minute rescheduling, David and his assistant were at my home the very next morning, arriving about 15 minutes early. David was friendly, yet professional. He obviously knew his craft. He clearly described the problem and provided a couple of solutions. He also cleared the dryer from trapped lint that apparently I was unable to reach. After he and the assistant had completed the job, they cleaned up after themselves. The dryer is running just as he predicted. As a side note, I watched through the window as they walked down the driveway and saw David retrieve a small piece of paper that he dropped (the size of a gum wrapper). In my experience, few would have bothered. I've been looking for a go-to repair service and I believe I've found one. <br />

They were terrific. They initially came for the fridge (he called and asked for a picture of the make, type and model - he knew exactly where it was). When he finished I asked if they could look at a leak in an AC unit. He looked and fixed it on a Sunday. Terrific. <br />

David seems like the sole proprietor. If you call, you will get him. I enjoyed our early interactions and he provided a recommendation that I replace one part. A very highly rated Angies listing company suggested I order two parts and replace them both and cost about $200 more for labor than the $74 labor deal I got through Angie's special offers. <br /> I was going out of town on vacation and I didn't make it explicit for him to order the part. I thought we were setup to schedule the day I returned but the part had not been ordered. <br /> If you use this company, make sure your intentions are clear about when they should order the part and when you want to have the work done. Be clear and follow up. If you do those things, you will have a smooth experience. <br /> The work quality was great, the part works, and I saved about $500+ dollars not getting the second part and paying much more labor to install both of them from this other company. <br /> I would use these folks again and I'll be more clear and do a better job following up next time. <br />

David responded on the phone - texted me available time - showed up on time with a first rate assistant, Shawn. They moved clothes dryer out of a hard to reach spot so they could workk with it - dismantled it - found the problem - showed ot to me - got the part - fixed dryer - checked it out - fixed kink in vent - returnd dryer to its spot. It worked better than ever now. <br /> Hey - these fellows turned out to be the first team!. No fuss, no muss. David is first rate communicator and ensured GREAT, efficient service. I will definitely use them again (if needed) and I heartily recommend them to everybody! <br /> Semper Fi, JLA <br /> <br />
