Also, we always warranty our work, so if something happens with that specific appliance that we work on, then we will come back out and it for free. We are always honest and trustworthy to our customers. We are a small company, but we pride ourselves on being forthcoming and dedicated to our customers. We also offer light plumbing and electrical services such as updating faucets , electrical outlets and light fixtures. We offer senior and military discounts

I am extremely disappointed Malcom Jones owner of A Plus Home Service & Appliance Repair professionalism and inability to successfully do your job. Malcom came out on 5/17/2023 and gave me a diagnosis to repair the icemaker on my Samsung refrigerator. He collected $164.25 as a deposit for the work and said he would return the next day. He did not return that day and did call nor answer his phone for the next 2 days. Malcolm finally contacted me and came out and supposedly repaired the icemaker on my refrigerator on or about 05/20/23 for a price of $328.50. He offered a 1-year warranty on parts & labor. The refrigerator stopped making ice on 06/05/23. I immediately called and was told he would come out the next day. He did not come and did not answer his phone for the next three days. I finally reached Malcom on 06/09/23 and was told he would come out that evening. He did not come out and he has not answered his phone to date (06/14/23). I have called a more professional appliance tech to do the job and it was done to my satisfaction.

It’s been 4 wks & I paid half of the payment for parts, which I was told would take 3 wks to get in. Been trying to get in touch with Chris, sent several text messages and he won’t respond back. Only one response was given and that was “waiting for supplier now”, then nothing more. So needless to say, out of money and washer not fixed.

The ice maker is making ice, again. However, in removing screws to panel covering old wiring harness, Chris stripped a couple of the screws and was unable to remove the panel. As a result, he had to remove the wiring harness from the new ice maker and attach the new ice maker to the old wiring harness.

Our repairman made two fairly long trips to obtain needed parts! He was on the road a lot. Though there was an misunderstanding about payment procedures, repair work was effectively done. Our repairman went the second mile in getting parts and repairing our problem. Appreciate his diligence and quality work!

This is my review to replace the previous review I made. I wish I could delete it, but this is the best I can do. Friday, I was really ticked at not having a business card, not taking a credit card, be back if I can. He called around 6 PM and not coming but would be there 4/27 first thing in the morning. He was going to pick up the part and repair my fridge. He changed the part and then found out something else was wrong. He went to Doraville again to pick up this latest part. I live in Newnan so that is about an hour drive. He got back to my house abt 3;30 Put on the new part and had finished repairing it. It was not leaking anymore. My parts are guaranteed for a year. I would recommend him for repairing an appliance, a little costly but we were glad it was repaired. I would call him again to do another repair when needed. I think communication is most important. I had a repair done 8 yrs ago I was told to pay him up front so he could buy the part. I did and he never returned to fix it. Yet they cashed my check. A liquor store called me to see if I wrote it to them. I was taken for $350. Could not get in touch with them. I called another repairman and he said this fridge was rigged and he would take it apart and get the part to repair it. $465 for that bill. I felt this was happening all over again. But, it was not. Chris did repair things, he did show up and stuck with it until finished repairing it and I greatly appreciate that! I think communication regarding this repair would have elimiinated some of this aggravation on both our parts. Definitely would use him again and he repaired my appliance satisfactorily. I was quite suspicious he did not have a business card. I asked who he worked for and he said A Plus. He told me he was required to get half of the payment first for the work he was doing. I asked check or credit card. He said his four square wasn't working properly so it would have to be a check and to just make it out to him Chris Harden. When using a legit repair service, I have never paid until the job is done. It would only make logical sense, most people place this on their card. With Chase if not satisfied they dispute the claim. With this guy only taking a check it doesn't sound legit and he did not give me a receipt. Four square is reliable and if the sale was approved it would show that. Then he calls me at 6:00 PM and says he did not get to Doraville in time to get the part. He left my house at 2:30. When he called at 6:00 PM he said he would pick up the part first thing Monday morning and then come here to replace the part. If I would have know that he was going to wait 3 days to fix it I would have called Takle. This seems unprofessional to say the least--Not to mention all of this sounds questionable. I really feel like stopping payment on the check I gave him and choosing someone else to start over with! He did not even have a truck with tool on it. He was in a car. I am calling Fox Appliance to see how much part costs He said $169.00. This whole situation is just very shady. Why would the check be made out to him instead of A Plus Repair Service? I attached 2 pictures of him turning the water off on our refrigerator left in the middle of the aisle, left it wrapped in my towel to catch excessive water. He said he would be back to finish the job. I am very Leary of how this transaction occurred and am worried about if this person is even an employee of A Plus Repair. Chris Harden and he gave us his personal cell. He did answer his cell when we asked for a time. I personally feel like I should go with someone I trust and will get in touch with him tomorrow. We are supposed to wait until Monday to have this repair completed or if it is cancelled. Unhappy customer-- Susan .

They were good. He gave me details about everything that was needed to be done. He gave me his time for his appointments and schedules. He let me knew if he would be delayed but he didn't. He was on time. I really enjoyed him. He was very professional.
