A Plus Moving

This the largest scam I have ever experienced in my life. These people scammed me out of $12K with their bait and switch tactics. They also post fake positive reviews to bait their next victims. They will ask you for other personal information through their "complaints resolution department" called Complaints Board (google this fraudulent site) which is based out of Latvia. They will ask for such information as WhatsApp and ask you do download an app to get reimbursed and have no answer than we tried by simply given our address stating this method is impossible and we refused to abide by their "compensation process". They have compensated me nothing for the pain they have caused with astronomical overcharging, damaged and lost goods, and time spent trying to obtain compensation. This is no joke. These people are scam artists! Do not waste your time or money!

Good experience with minor delay. My overall experience with A Plus Moving Group was positive. The movers arrived on time, were respectful of my home, and packed my belongings neatly. Delivery was delayed by a few hours due to rain, but they called ahead to inform me, which I appreciated. Everything arrived safely, and the final cost matched the original quote. I?d use them again ? very professional and courteous service.

The office staff kept me updated with pickup and delivery times, and the crew worked carefully and efficiently. They wrapped my furniture securely and handled even the heavier items without any damage. What I appreciated most was how transparent they were about pricing ? no hidden fees or last-minute surprises. Definitely a reliable team that takes their work seriously.

If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with A Plus Moving Group was an absolute nightmare from start to finish ? unprofessional, dishonest, and damaging in every possible way. From the beginning, the sales rep Will Reid promised the world ? guaranteed pickup on August 1st, charges based on box count, careful wrapping and handling, and prompt delivery. NONE of this happened. They changed my pickup date without my consent, arrived hours late with no communication, and completely misrepresented the pricing. The movers crammed my belongings into boxes without labeling or protection, and many items arrived broken, wet, or destroyed. My wife?s PS5 was damaged, my file storage unit was bent and my hard drives destroyed (losing over 8 years of photos/videos), my bookshelf was soaked with mold, and my robot vacuum was cracked and no longer works. Kitchenware arrived shattered, and I even injured myself unpacking. It gets worse ? 65 boxes were packed, but only 59 were delivered,

Amazing job

Truly the absolute worst company I have ever worked with to this date. Told me up front in email that packing supplies were free only to be charged $1,000 at the end of the job and refused to refund even though they gave me incorrect information. Job was initially $8,000 and after packing the truck it jumped to $15,000. Overcharged me on over 300 cubic feet of space and they ACKNOWLEDGED it and said they would refund me then decided not to. Had to go through claims and escalate to arbitration to be awarded over $2,000 in overcharges only for them to still ignore all communication. Company completely ghosted after the job was complete ignoring phone calls, texts, and emails. Find a company that does quotes by weight and not by cubic feet, its a complete scam.

If I could do any negative numbers, I would choose them unfortunately one star is the lowest number I could choose. Horrible horrible company very unprofessional and not organized stay away from them. Find a better mover. I booked them three weeks out. Two days before my move, they asked if I could move from a Tuesday to a Wednesday against my better judgement I said yes and then on Wednesday I received a phone call that their truck wouldn’t start and they needed to cancel the move for that day promised they would come Friday. Again a truck did not arrive so they said they needed to cancel my move. Told me they would refund me my deposit which I have yet to receive so I had to scramble and find a different moving company to move that day and the next day. so they pretty much abandoned me at my pick up location. Run from this company don’t walk and do not hire them.

Hiring A Plus Moving has been a nightmare. They are dishonest, deceptive, and at this point crooks. They canceled my move last minute with no explanation & have yet to return my deposit of over $600. Management will not call me back & is screening my calls. Absolutely horrible experience that I now have to dispute with my bank. Do not recommend!!!
