Apollo was a pleasure to work with from start to finish! They helped us to rebuild our family home that was lost to fire and we could not be more thankful for their professionalism and going above and beyond to restore our home to us! The entire crew, including Scott the owner, and Nelson their site crew manager, were very easy to work with. Communication was excellent and they are very open to listening to the client's needs and giving great care to understand how the final building works best to that end. They provided great advice on how to make spaces work better, could be done in a more cost effective way or make the final outcome look best-in line with the the client's vision and wishes. Their work was done efficiently and completed as expected, at times before the expected time. With so many scams these days, it is hard to trust people. You can 100 percent trust Scott and his team. From the beginning of the process, Scott and his team surpassed my very high expectations. Scottâ s communication is clear and prompt. His prices are reasonable and payment method is easy. His experience working in the county facilitated getting permits approved. His team of contractors are professional, clean and timely. I appreciated that Scott himself managed my construction. When I wanted to change something, Scott would tell me the implications and then, if I still wanted to go forward, worked with me to make that change happen. When we discovered some unfortunate surprise inside the walls of my house or something went wrong (eg. New window delivered broken), Scott and his team made it right every time. Scott was the first contractor I met when planning to do an addition. It took 6 months from first contact for me to hire him, But even through the planning phase, he answered every question I had. Once signing the contract, He got right to work and finished my addition in 3 months. Heâ s also just a nice person that youâ ll enjoy talking to. Renovations can really upend your life, but Scott did everything he could to make sure we werenâ t disrupted for too long. He really brought my vision to life and now I canâ t imagine ever moving. He kept my project on budget and really helps you find ways to save money. Youâ re not just getting a contractor when you hire Scott. He cares about his customers and just wants to make sure youâ re happy.

We found Scott and Apollo after a great deal of frustration in finding a builder who was able to take our vision and budget and make it a reality. After several false starts and stops with others in the area, we were fortunate to find Apollo. We sat and talked about the project, and after checking Scottâ s references, we signed a contract and never regretted our decision. Scott was there with us day by day from the start to the finish. We added a significant extension to our home that is a first floor suite that includes a dinette, a full bath, a half bath, a kitchenette, sitting room, Washer and Dryer, and large master bedroom. The total project totaled 1,200 square feet. Scott was aware of our objectives, and stayed on schedule, and within budget. We love the space and its an integral part of our home. Scott and his team of subcontractors clearly have long term relationships and mutual respect for one another. These are not strangers, but professionals that have a genuine and real relationship with Apollo. From the guy who graded our property, to the roofer, electrician, and outdoor masons, every single person operated on my property under Scottâ s watchful eye and were top notch. If there was a problem, it was fixed immediately. If there was a change order, Scott addressed it immediately. Apollo paid attention to our wishes for the project and ensured that finishes and products used in the construction were to our satisfaction. Scott came to understand our unique circumstances and presented multiple options before committing to one and allowed us time to make decisions without impacting the timeline. Scott paid attention to all the details - no matter how small or large - and we could not be happier with the final product. Workmanship is critical, and communication is key! Scott and I communicated daily, either in person before I left for work, via text or email. I was never surprised. Every detail was taken care ofâ ¦.Scott and the crew were clean, on time every day, and made sure that the property was usable as we went through the project - a total of about 10-11 months. For the record, most of that time was dealing with permit issues at Fairfax County. Once the permit was approved, we started and ended on schedule. Apollo is a highly competent, organized, friendly and professional operation. Scott is great to deal with and stuck with me through several design changes (was smart enough not to agree to start anything until I figured out what I wanted) Scott figured out problems that arose along the way and found solutions; honestly, he became part of the family. I would highly recommend Scott and Apollo for any construction work you may have.

Apollo built our sunroom starting from an architect's concept drawings. We collected five quotes for this job, and Scott's price came in among the lower ones, after working with me to incorporate our most important archictectural features, insulation leve, and HVAC (I'm an engineer), while keeping the overall cost in my price window. Scott was very responsive in all of our communications , was flexible both in planning, and about finish details - he kept us thinking in advance about choosing those finish details as those parts of the job came along. Most significantly, my wife had only a general idea of the exterior look she wanted, and Scott was very patient and willing to work with us both to understand the material choices, and to do a custom design we love, while keeping it practical. All of Scott's work crew and subcontractors were timely, neat and pleasant to have in our home. Finally, Apollo was very organized in staging the project and they completed within Scott's original time estimate. This was our second major home addition and it was by far the better experience, thanks to Scott and the Apollo team.

Very happy with our sunroom, deck extension, and swim spa project. We were looking for a design and build contractor for our sunroom, which was leaking and required a new roof, and featured a decades-old custom tile hot tub that wasn’t working. The sunroom also had non-functioning sliding glass and screen doors. We were interested in removing the custom hot tub and converting the sunroom into a four-season space, as well as extending our deck and adding a recessed swim spa. Apollo was one of the contractors we contacted for an estimate in the spring of 2020. We were immediately impressed with Scott’s responsiveness and professionalism. He advised us of the process, the timelines, possible challenges and potential decision points and how COVID might impact the project. Apollo was not the least expensive estimate we received, but they were the most realistic and experienced contractors we considered. The workmanship was excellent and Scott’s responsiveness was top-notch. His subcontractors - tile, roof, electric, and drywall - were superb. All of his crews are very clean - they clean up every day, are very good about keeping to a schedule, and communication was excellent. Overall very transparent, very skilled, and we feel that we made the right decision. We were very satisfied with the finished product and would absolutely use Apollo again.

I loved working with Scott - he is very responsive, listens to the customer needs. He and his people added a mudroom to my house, the work was done on time, on budget and I am very happy with overall results. Will hire him again for future projects.

You need to know what you want, but they will deliver on time and on budget. My job was not super huge but they were ON TIME, every member of the team was GREAT and Scott re-did some tile work during the job, and fixed a little nit after the final bill was paid that other companies would have ignored. GREAT COMPANY.

I hired Apollo Builder for a major addition. Extend the family room and build a second floor addition. Scott designed and built the whole addition, stayed within the price range and completed the project two weeks ahead of schedule. He was very organized and was there every day checking on the progress. My neighbors were amazed how his crew was there working nonstop this winter in below freezing temperatures. Very impressive! In fact this is my second remodeling. Scott surpassed my expectations and outperformed a previous reputable remodeling company that did my remodeling 10 years ago both in quality and value for the money spent. Three of my neighbors are considering hiring him to do additions for them. I would recommend him any day for a job well done.

Scott stayed within price parameters. He told us 4 weeks for a kitchen remodel and he finished in 3 weeks and 2 days. He and his crew were always on time. I was able to reach him on the phone or email in a timely manner. No delays for "huntin' " season. One other contractor estimated a price thousands more and an 8 week project timeline. The plan was good, execution of the plan had some shortcomings, lot of the work was done in haste and had to get the contractor back to fix things after everything was supposedly complete. Payment schedule was a pain, too many payments in quick succession. Would not recommend contractor.

We were concerned because of the scope of work and the time it would take. Scott and his team delivered on time - from the initial designs to the final touch of paint. They also ensured minimum disruption in spite of the changes that were being done to the house. Scott was very responsive, and provided good advice along the way. We are very pleased with the outcome and would highly recommend Scott and Apollo Builders!

Apollo Builders and their subcontractors they've used did an excellent job that matched exact design that we put together. Scott and Chuck were always ahead of the schedule, while performing their part of the job. All of the extract expenses or savings were reported and discussed with me, which made the entire experience surprise free. Scott maintained the open line of communication with me and addressed most of the issues that were coming up during the project. We had entire main floor redone, walls knocked down, hw floor refinished, and remodeling of entire kitchen from top to bottom.

Scott and his team are best. Not only did they deliver excellent work but Scott and his team are trustworthy, honest and hard working. They care about the work they perform as if it was their own house. Their pricing was very reasonable. They delivered the project on time and price. The work was a complete kitchen redesign from ground up as well as a patio door expansion and a family room redesign to go with the modern Italian kitchen. I will use Apollo again when we remodel our master bathroom.

Apollo Builders did an excellent job with the pass-through from our kitchen to dining room. The work was completed in an expeditious and professional manner. Scott and Chuck were both ahoy to have in our home. We will have them back to work on more projects in the future!

I have worked with Apollo and I have to say that they did a great job for me. Scott and Chuck are great people to work with and they are really professional in thier work and very friendly people. I had a large project which included addition of staircase, mudroom, moldings, columns. I was not sure if I should give the whole project to one contractor. Initailly I gave Scott a small project but two days later I gave him two more and finally he did the wohle work for me. Overall, very nice experience.

"Two Story Addition with new Kitchen/Great Room/Master Suite/Two Bathrooms/ Upstairs Laundry" Apollo has completed the work quickly, professionally and on budget. They have always responded quickly to the few problems that have come up. Excellent customer service. The design services were great. We wanted to preserve the character of a 70 year old house but still add some space and modern comforts. We have received lots of complements from strangers walking in the neighborhood. It's been a pleasure to have such a competent team representing our interests with the subcontractors.
