Not well! The young man came to do the diagnostics right away. He found out that there was a leak in the copper supply line. He did not have the tools to fix it so he borrowed my soldering iron, flux and wire to fix it. He also used my shop-vac to vac off the water. He was responsive. It would have been a better experience had he brought his own tools.

I want to thank you again for offering your tools to repair the water line, but please remember that my recommended repair was to replace the entire water line, which is only $20 at lowes and could be done with no special tools... Also, the reason I gave you the $25 assistance credit is because you let me borrow the specialized tools that saved me from making a trip to the shop. I know that your tools are important to you, as mine are to me but perhaps, you should not offer your tools since that is your preference. Thank you for your business."

<p>Mike arrived promptly within the scheduled time frame. He was very courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. He repaired the leak that was causing the problem and explained the work he was doing as he went along. He seemed very honest and also offers a senior citizens discount.</p> <p>I thought the price was very fair and I definitely will call Mike again for my appliance issues. And, now I can get a few more miles out of my old refrigerator. It is very refreshing to have someone that will try to fix it rather than immediately trying to sell you something new if you really don't need it.</p> <br />

he fI called Appliance Savers Repair after getting an email about an Angie's List deal. I had not heard of the company before, but when I saw a review saying that he fixed a 4 year old LG refrigerator, I gave him a call. He answered the phone right away, and I told him at length about the problem we were having and that I had had another repairman look at it. I also told him that there have been serious problems with this model and that the other repairman and a local appliance salesman said to trash it and get a new one. <br /> Mike felt it was worth trying to fix it. <br /> He was able to come the very next day and spent over three hours checking everything and trying to diagnose the problem. He was willing to remove the doors to be able to get to the back of the unit, something the other repairman did not do.He admitted to being baffled, but wanted to try replacing the freezer thermistor in case that was the problem. He returned the next day when the part arrived, but that did not fix the issue either. <br /> I have never had an appliance repairman work so hard. He was so good about explaining what could be going on and how he was trying to fix it. The amazing thing was that refused to take any payment for his work, saying that he came to do a diagnostic on the appliance and that since he was unable to repair it, we should not be charged. This is my first experience with anyone doing business this way. I would recommend him to anyone. <br /> <br /> <br />

Clever young man, knew his stuff! I have a $3000 LG fridge and was able to keep it going for $200 bucks... Not bad. <br />
