For the most part the installation was well. Some grass and pavers issues but I took care of them myself. My biggest problem came when I, try to start and open the system back after Aqua Duck winterrized it them selfs. I found one of the ball valves cracked in the middle and water was non stopped. I reached out to the owner, and expressed my problem. He send two men a week later to see what was the issue with my back flow preventive valve. " They Claim" that the valve was cracked due to someone opening it during the winter season, whitch was not the case. Also if anything would freez it would be the top of the valve seat that is plastic. Funny but, how is it that if the winter conditions caused the ball valve to split,and why dint any other parts of the system including the copper pipe`s that are exposed to the weather conditions froze and slpited also. I explained to the guys that this valve was defected from the start, and never noticed till I had to re open the system this year. I try reaching them again and again, to finf that the answer machine outgoing message is full every day!!!!! I am stremely disappointed for the unresponsive and lack resolvement on Aqua Duck`s Behalf. <br /> What happen to my 1 year warranty as my contract stipulates!!!!!! <br />

<p>I'm extremely disappointed in Aqua Duck and would not recommend them nor ever use them again. After installing the lights last year, almost all of the lights are not working less than one year later. My largest frustration with this company is the fact that I called them various times and left a message or the mailbox was full. Further, I traded a few messages with them over Angie's List but they have gone dark. Very disappointed!</p> <p>I just had two exterior lighting providers look at the work performed to make sure that there was no issue with our wiring. They determined that the LED bulbs that they provided were cheap, which is why approx. 75% of them are not working. I have pictures of the bulbs as I feel I was ripped off here. If I am paying good money for LED bulbs, they should be good LED bulbs.</p> <p>I plan to dispute this and ask for my money back.<br /> <br /></p>

Installation went very well however since then they have been unresponsive. Called three weeks ago to have my system turned on. An appt was made for later in the week. No show, no call. Called them back the next week and was told they had a problem with a motor vehicle breakdown. Well, they could have called me. So they tell me they will call when they are in the neighborhood. Another week goes by. Nothing. I call again and leave a message asking them to please call and set up another appt or I would get someone else to do it. No call back. It's done. Not by them. <br />

Terrible. They were here for 10 minutes. About 2 hours after they left, I noticed a 6-7 foot pool of water against the foundation of my house. Luckily I spotted it before I called it a night and was able to turn off the water. If not, I would have probably woken up to water in my basement. That evening, I immediately called and left a voice-mail. I demanded to have somebody to come out. I never received a return call so i called back a day later. I spoke to the owner, Noel, and was assured somebody would come out that evening, if not, then the following day. Nobody called or showed up. I called again and Noel informed that a company vehicle had broken down. He again assured me that somebody would be there that evening or the following morning. Nobody showed so i called again and spoke to Noel. He was surprised nobody showed up. This is the 3rd time that he told me somebody would come out. I requested a refund and the owner directed me to Angie's List.

They were great. Easy to communicate with; came as promised; needed no supervision. Did everything right. I just started up the sprinkler system again for spring 2015, and it's working perfectly, so they must have done everything right. In the past, when I've used other companies for winter shutoff, there have been problems at spring startups. I'm sure these are sometimes a result of nature's work over the winter, but this was nice with Aqua Duck this time. <br />

It was very strange because I saw on Angie?s List that they have a deal and I called them and told me that the area is too far out to do. So I went back on the computer and they have something that you can sign up for $59 so I put the $59 and then they came. But they did a very nice job on my sprinkler system. I called them up last November and they came and winterized my system. They told me that when I open it up on Spring there are two things that I have to have them come back and fix on one of the valve because they could not do it that time but they can do it on the Spring. <br /> <br /> So I was very pleased with Aqua Duck. The price was great. The work was really good. They did a fabulous job and I will use them again. They were very good.

Aqua was great from the start. Noel came out the first day I called, and reviewed all the specifics. He gave me a very good price, better than any other competitor by far. They were very professional in the installation and neat in repairing my lawn. The washed down my sidewalk and walkway to ensure I was happy. I have and would recommend Aqua to my friends and family. This is a great company. <br /> <br /> <br />

Excellent. The installation crew did a great job. The Foreman made sure none of our utilities were damaged by having many of the lines hand dug. <br /> <br />After the installation he made sure I understood how the system worked. <br />

Overall, went well, despite my own failure to shut off water from inside the house in advance. It would have helped to know in advance when they were coming! Otherwise, no complaints about service or price. <br />

Main issue here is the cost. For my system, the cost was $135.00. Colonial Sprinklers charges $95. Will be going back to Colonial. <br />

We do not try to be the cheapest as our high quality service is valuable. Sending two men and a truck to winterize 12 or more zones is a reasonable fee. We us you get what you paid for and more. Aqua ducks did a fantastic job. This was not a small undertaking and they really exceeded my expectations. First off, Aqua Ducks has an extremely responsive, knowledgable and professional crew. In less than 24 hours of me speaking to the owner I had a comprehensive quote along with a detailed plan for the work. Juan who was leading the job did a great job of explaining exactly what needed to be done and providing thoughtful recoomendations. I had obtained quotes from other sprinkler companies but Aqua Ducks's price was very competitive and they were available immediately to do the work which was important to me. Within hours of accepting the estimate a large crew showed up to my property and began working into the early evening to complete the work. All the work was done exactly as it was outlined. The guys even detected other minor problems in some of the sprinkler heads which they fixed for me at no additional cost. When the job was complete, the crew did a fantastic job of cleaning up and making it seem as if they were never there. The new zones and sprinkler configuration so far work great. Definitely will use Aqua Ducks for all of my Sprinkler needs going forward. <br />

We are extremely happy to have found Aqua Duck on Angie's List. Noel was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. He knows his business, and has a great team working with him. Our property was ridden with tree roots, and the job took several hours longer than expected because of the unseen root system under the ground; but the guys were professional, hard working, and knowlegable. The lawn was put back after the installation, and it looks beautiful. We are BEYOND happy to have hired Aqua Duck to do our lawn irrigation installation job. <br />

No problems with the installation, it took a half day as promised. They installed different types of sprinkler heads: one type for the lawn and misters for the shrubs and flower beds. No other contractors that I spoke to made this distiction. The utility companies were to come out and mark their lines that ran under the property, but for some reason this never happened. Overall, everything went fine. <br /> <br /> Update to my original review. <br /> I called Aqua Duck on September 24th requesting them to turn off the system for the winter. I left a detailed message asking for a call back to confirm the appt. As I received no call back, I called again today September 30th asking them to please respond. <br /> Will update in a few days.

Sprinkler overhaul. Awesome awesome job. Super. Finally addressed my problems that had been neglected for years. Fixed it all in one day. Super deal. Didn't charge me for a bunch of stuff.
