AQUA HAVEN POOLS

The company we were using for our pool maintenance was not able to service everything we needed. Aqua Haven has been able to resolve all of our issues within two calls. They do an excellent job! I will definitely recommend them and absolutely use them, again.

They are great and much more knowledgeable than the others. Very responsible employees as opposed to the other bigger company. They don't charge a trip fee like the other one that is located in W Raleigh.

Aqua Haven Pools has just completed a refurbishment of our 20 year old vinyl lined pool. Their work included replacement of the liner, drain and inlet covers, removal of the aged concrete pool deck and replacement with a paver deck. All of this work was done on-time and as promised. The owner, Scott, is clearly committed to customer satisfaction. I highly recommend Aqua Haven.

I was very pleased with installation workmanship. Existing lumps in the pool floor (that had been there since the original installation of the pool) were eliminated, and the new liner looks great!  It's now 2 months out and we've had no problems. <br /> - I received quotes from Rising Sun and from Aqua Haven. The 3rd provider I contacted was completely booked and unavailable. <br /> - Aqua Haven's quote was slightly lower than Rising Sun's quote, and I appreciated that Scott came out to look things over before providing the quote (Rising Sun did not).   <br /> - Communication was not Aqua Haven's strong point. A key factor in making my decision was how quickly the work could be scheduled and completed. Rising Sun had indicated a 6 week wait, and I thought Aqua Haven had indicated  a 2 week wait - however, I later learned that the 2 week  reference represented only to a portion of the job (the amount of time to receive the liner once it was ordered). The work was completed within 6 weeks. <br /> - Aqua Haven's selection of liner patterns was limited, however we are very happy with the pattern we chose. <br /> - While the initial timeline changed, in the end the work was completed a few days earlier than the final plan called for - a pleasant surprise that readied the pool just in time for us to enjoy it for the weekend. <br />

I've used Aqua Haven to repair my pool equipment in the past.  Excellent service as before.  Technician arrived on time scheduled and was able to quickly and accurately diagnose the problem with my salt generator and provide a price for the necessary repair.  Technician ordered the required parts, scheduled a time and date for return.  Service was performed and the pool is working perfectly. <br /> <br />  I appreciate the fact that Aqua Haven has quality personnel on staff, uses quality parts and can be relied upon to do the job right the first time every time.  I'll be using them again the next time I have a problem with my pool.  A+

They come once a week to clean and service my pool and patio.  They are very efficient and thorough. <br />

I went on Angie's List to see which pool service provider had the best ratings.  Though I traditionally have used the same contractor that installed my pool, I decided to go with the provider that had the highest ratings on Angie's List.  Happily, I was very happy with the service provided.  Last fall, Scott the owner sent out some employees to measure the precisely measure the pool.  In the early Spring, AquaHaven (AH) came back to make sure the measurements were correct.  AH sent me information via e-mail as to the different styles and types of liners that they carried.  I scheduled AH to come back in the Spring do install the liner.  AH set up a sump pump the day before installation to drain the pool.  It took approximately 10 hours to drain 18,000 gallons.  The pump was submerged and had a cut off switch so I really did not have to do anything.  Two highly skilled and professional workers showed up promptly at 8:00 a.m. the next day and finished draining the pool.  They then worked quickly to remove the old liner, prepare the metal sides and redo the flooring and walls of the pool.  Some of the pool floor and walls had deteriorated over the past 12 years so the workers quickly redid the entire damaged services leaving the pool floor and walls smooth.  The new vinyl liner was then put in place.  The workers were careful not to damage the pool floor which they had just repaired.  Once the liner was put in place, they put in vacuum blowers to remove any excess air and began filling the pool with water.  They then cleaned up completely hauling away the old liner, debris and any equipment they had brought.  After filling the pool floor with sufficient water to cover the first steps, AH came back the next day to remove the vacuum blowers.  The pool is now completely filled with water and is beautiful. <br /> The pool liner cost approximately $1,500 and the labor, other material and tax ran around $2,700.  This was similar in cost to other contractors.  Scott, the owner, checked with me by phone the next day to see if everything was okay.   <br /> I believe AH provided excellent service and an excellent product.  I would highly recommend them for this type of work in the future. <br /> <br /> <br />

The senior pool technician who came out to diagnose and repair my swimming pool was was exceptionally technically proficient.  He was able to quickly determine precisely what was wrong with my pool equipment.  Aqua Haven then provided me with a very accurate estimate for the cost of the pool repair and after I agreed to have the work done, they ordered the necessary parts.  A few business days later after the parts arrived, Aquahaven sent their technician back out to complete the repair.  Once again the senior technician was fast and proficient as he made the repair.  The parts they brought out were brand new and of the highest quality. <br /> I've had to deal with various contractors maintaining this swimming pool, often companies will cut corners by using unskilled laborers as repairmen and or by using  cheap refurbished parts.  As I've already mentioned, this was not the case with Aqua Haven.  <br /> I'm very happy with the price and quality of the repair service I received.  My pool is now running better than it has in the 10 years I've had it. <br />

I called three different pool services. One said they would come out and never showed up, the other two just said they did not have time to do the job as they had bigger projects going on. I came to Angie's list and found Aquahaven pools. I emailed Scott and he very promptly emailed me back and continued to converse with me about servicing the pool. Once I decided to do business with him, Scott had his assistant Brandy call and set up the time of service which was going to be just a couple of days. She called back later and said they had time to do it that very day. They came out as promised and winterized and covered the pool. I could not be more impressed with Aquahaven pools. <br />

This is truly an outstanding and professional company!  After ten years of dealing with substandard pool companies, we finally found a company that is timely and extremely efficient. <br />  During a wind storm, our pool furniture blew into the pool.  Shortly after, the pool began to leak.  I contacted Scott, who immediately called back and said he would have someone come out and check it.  The very next day, Scott came out and looked at the pool and evaluated the situation.   He set up a test to monitor the pool for 24 hours.  The pool had a small leak.  We made a decision to change the liner.  We picked a new liner and within a few weeks it was installed.  The installation was done in less than 24 hours.  Outstanding work and couldn't even tell that they were here.  I would highly recommend this company for all your pool needs! <br />

My experience with them was excellent. They are very good and prompt. They are competitive with their price.

I thought the prices were kind of expensive considering they were there for maybe 20 minutes, but he did a good job. He inspected the pool and we needed it inspected. They were wonderful about answering all of my questions. I also emailed them like 500 times and they were really great about that. He was there on time and I thought the quality of the service was very good.

He is amazing.  He has great communication.  He was readily available and does what he says he will do.
