Fred, the owner/sales rep was amazing and even came out a second time for us to review and discuss all options once again. Although Will, our installation guy, had gotten delayed everything turned out well. From the time Will arrived, he was very professional, neat as he kept cleaning up any mess made and took time to answer any/all questions which we both had. We had another competitor, started with a C, while in East TN and loved the system with not too many issues. However, upon doing research here and having a water bill, the fact that Kinetico uses the force of the water for regeneration and to clean only made sense; plus the fact that it uses very little water, purified water as well in order to clean - this was important to us. We've not seen our water bill increase but a few cents and three months later, still not had to add salt. GREAT JOB!

The work was done faster than expected, he cleaned up very nicely-was as efficient as could be. It was a great job done! I'm very happy with the quality system I now use for all the water in my home.

It seemed to go ok at first, but later found out that the system is softening the OUTSIDE water. We have had three systems installed in different houses and none of them conditioned the outside water. When I called to ask why they did that they said that it is not uncommon based on pipe structure to condition outside water. They then offered to fix it for a fee. However, they never mentioned before the install that they would be conditioning outside water, nor did they offer an alternative. Second, the instructions were clear to run the drinking system line to the refrigerator. It does not appear that we are getting pure water to the refrigerator. I have called twice to ask about this. Both times I was told I would get a call back. The first time they said I would get a call to discuss this situation. No call received. The second time I was told I would get a call to schedule someone to come out. No call received. The system itself works fine and is appropriately frugal with salt usage. However, this company's service is lacking.

Clarification - quality of the product is very good.  Quality of the install is amateur. <br /> Good products, have used before.  Seems the service tech took water from before my water pressure regulator and caused problems because of the high pressure through their system.  Techs came later and install regulator on input to softener and resolved that problem. <br /> The installation is rather pedestrian, not very professional.  The routing of the backwash line and the water filter lines are very cable-tv installer like.  They just run them out in the open instead of routing them so that they aren't a visual problem. <br /> I am still waiting on the installer to come and fix holes in the wall where he missed his intended location. <br />

I've been using this company for years, they have sold, installed, and maintained 3 systems for me. Always top-notch equipment and service, and friendly people! A+! <br />

This particular system gives cues that it's time for a service call to change filters.  I called them to let them know and we made an appointment.  They arrived on time & called 1/2 hour in advance to let me know they were on the way.  They checked & cleaned the system, & changed filters.  Such delicious water!  Aside from the taste, it just gives me a good feeling knowing how clean the water I'm using & drinking daily is.  I've always known how important clean water is & have used other filters in the past, but this one tops them all. Fabulous water!  Fabulous people. <br />

Aqua Pure did an excellent job. They seemed to know exactly what they were doing. Aqua Pure did a wonderful job of installation.
