I am giving them a and quot;Band quot; because they were professional, but there were some bumps so I could not give them an and quot;Aand quot;.First, they changed the time they were going to arrive the day before the appointment. They were originally supposed to be here between 10am - 12pm (there was and quot;one joband quot; ahead of mine), but they called the day before to confirm, and in the process simply changed the time from 10am - 12pm to 12pm - 2pm. I had conference calls scheduled from 12pm - 2pm, so this was very inconvenient. More notice would have been appreciated, and asking me if the new time was acceptable (rather than telling me what it would be) would have been appreciated.Secondly, when the work was actually done, the team did not clean up after themselves. They left a number of small branches that they had cut off the base of the tree (we haven't done our spring trimming and cleanup yet) around our ground cover, where my husband and I will have to clean it up this weekend. They cut the branches off with a chain saw then simply left them there. Overall, they were acceptable and I would likely use them again. They were not, however, one of my best and quot;Angie's Listand quot; experiences.

I used a company called Arborscape a long time ago, that service was fine. It was one of those promotions for 40 bucks for fertilization and weed treatment. They did great. I would give them 'A's across the board. It was a 39.95 coupon that I bought and they did it.

Everything went very well. No problems. They worked with about 4 inches of snow on the ground, and it didn't slow them down at all. There were 4 or 5 very personable guys on site. Pricing was extremely competitive compared to other estimates that I received, and these fellas worked very hard. <br />Arborscape is a small company, and I wouldn't hesitate to have them back for more work. <br /> <br />

Working with ArborScape was a great experience from start to finish. I requested an estimate online on the weekend and I had a written estimate on my door on Monday. I had asked for 3 specific things and they wrote up the estimate exactly as I asked. When I called to schedule the work, I talked with Kaye who was very pleasant and friendly. The crew came out on schedule, removed two overgrown bushes in my back yard and cleaned up the debris better than I ever did when I trimmed those bushes myself! My boyfriend even commented that he couldn't believe how good they made it look. They didn't just leave a gaping hole where the bushes had been; they nicely smoothed over the surface and redistributed the rock so you couldn't even tell someone had been working in that spot.

It went perfect, however, the removal process broke one of my sprinkler zones. An hour after they left I started my sprinkler system, and at the zone where the tree was removed, water was gushing out. When I called the Arborscape Company, they said there was a disclaimer (very smallprint 1 font size) on the back that stated they are not responsible for this type of issue. I think they should disclose this during the bid process with a human voice. Perhaps the most silly thing said to me on the phone was that this removal of the tree likely was not the cause of the sprinkler damage. This is common sense, the sprinkler has been operating for 10 years on that zone with no issues, a tree is removed, and water now gushes from where the tree was removed. I'm ok with being given/pointed out on the bid instruction that they aren't responsible, but I was less impressed with the representative on the phone that told me this wasn't likely due to the tree being removed and stump being grinded just 1 hour prior to my call regarding the sprinkler compliant.Made a great, smooth overall process go South quickly.

It was not that great. They were very polite and what not. The problem was that they were supposed to come and grind out a couple of stumps for me. One they couldn't do because of the gas line. So I get that. It was right in the way. So that's fine. The one in the backyard was close to a fence. So I unhooked the fence, took it apart so that they could gain access a little easier. They didn't bother to move the fence out of the way. So they only ground about half of the stumps. I asked them to come back and finish it up and they wouldn't do it. So I had to finish it up myself. They did charge me just half the amount which is good, but they were over-priced as it was. So I wasn't happy. When I asked them to come back they wouldn't answer my emails. They had quoted me $100 to do the backyard stump which was very small. So I thought that was pretty good price. I looked online to see what the going rate was and they were over-priced. But I thought, "They're on Angie's List. They had good rating. Let me give them a go." So that's why I did that. They ended up charging me $50 for doing half of the work. The work that they did was okay, they just couldn't finish it. I think they were punctual. They should have followed-up with me.

We resolved this by cutting the bill in half. sorry this wasn't the perfect job but we constantly review our stump removal processes and appreciate your input into how this process could be better, David"

3 workers showed up right around 8 AM and got right to work, there was still frost on the roof so it was cold but didn't seem to slow them down at all. 2 workers seemed like they had been doing this for years, one seemed a little green around the edges but even he did a reasonable job. They worked with precision and efficiency. Cleaned up very well left my yard better than before. The only thing that I would change is the (what I assumed)new worker didn't do as nice of a pruning job as the other two. He didn't get too far into the crown of the tree where the others did a great job thinning the crowns.The price was so fair that my neighbor came out asked if they could talk a couple of his trees and with no hesitation the leader stopped went over, bid the job, and completed it while they were doing mine (trees were very close together) All in all I would use them again. <br />

Arborscape worked back and forth with me - most of the back and forth was on my part due to working out with a neighbor what needed to be done with a couple of trees. They were very helpful and responsive in getting revised estimates to me. Once settled upon, they were prompt with the work and it was done well. I had used them previously as well for tree removal and trimming, and the experience was also positive. <br />

Most of the work went fine but they trimmed a tree that wasn't supposed to be trimmed and it ruined the tree. It took a long time to get it resolved, but they finally removed the tree they ruined and replaced it. The tree they ruined was 30 years old, they replaced it with a new tree. Not sure what else could be done to resolve it, but the mistake they made was about the worst thing you can do when you are trimming trees. <br />

Arborscape arrived on time to trim a large silver maple tree. The two employees asked for our suggestions on what to trim, but gave their opinion about just how much needed done. They cleaned up the entire area and took the limbs, etc. with them. We were pleased with the service. <br />

Appointment was made and they showed up on time and performed the work quickly and efficiently. I don't know what they put down or how much. They didn't leave any information or followup instructions so I didn't know what to do or what my expectation should be. The lawn didn't seem to respond any differenly. The weeds still came up in force like they do every year. <br />
