Arbor View Landscape Services was founded in May of 2000. Our company offers Landscape design and installation. We use subcontractors on an as needed basis. We give free estimates for work. We charge a minimum of $200.00 for landscape designs which are credited back to the customer if we do the installation. We offer a 5% discount to all Angie's list customers.

We were thrilled with the work Mike did. He was within our budget and the project he finished for us exceeded our expectations. Some things Mike offers, that sets him apart from other professionals is his communication, reliability, attention to detail and designing. We couldn’t have been more pleased with his services and end product. I felt as if he was treating the project the same way he would have completed a project for his own home. He did stone edging, helped with the design and plant choices, excavated our previous beds, drainage, added soil, added plants, mulch and a DG flagstone path to the front house for us. It’s been a total transformation to the house and we were so pleased with his services. Highly recommend.

Excellent Experience! Mike was prompt to respond and visit us for an estimate and recommendations. He listened to our ideas and offered suggestions to collaborate on a perfect solution. Mike was very responsive and kept me informed during the whole process. He did a great job with the sod installation. He also removed a bush and did some stone work for the garden. I highly recommend him, and I would hire him again. He also checked in after the job and even did some watering of the new sod while I was away due to the extreme heat.

My experience with Mike at Arbor View was positive from the beginning. I solicited bids from three highly rated landscapers on Angie's list. Although my call to Arbor View went to voicemail (Mike was working on a job at the time), Mike returned the call the same day and scheduled a visit to provide the estimate within a couple of days - by far the fastest of any of the firms. He arrived promptly as scheduled and listened and gave me valuable suggestions/feedback as we reviewed what I wanted. He followed up with a detailed quote the following day. Unfortunately the other folks I called were less responsive, and it took me about two weeks to gather the remaining quotes. When all was said and done Arbor View quoted the best price, and Mike was the the one I felt most comfortable working with. When I called to schedule the job, Mike told me he could do it in a couple of weeks, depending on the weathers' impact on his schedule and said he would contact me before coming out that week. Sure enough, on Wednesday of the promised week, Mike called and told me he'd be there mid-morning the following day. When he came by we adjusted the scope of work slightly and changed the quantity of plants to be installed. Once again, Mike was flexible and accommodating and began work removing the old landscaping immediately. Throughout the process Mike was professional, accommodating and communicated effectively and thoroughly. Although the work was just completed yesterday, I can say that I am pleased with the outcome and experience, and have no doubt I will be treated fairly in the event any issues arise. I highly recommend Arbor View for any landscape installation needs

I had to replace a part of the lawn because the Bermuda grass had died due to lack of sunlight. I contacted Arbor View primarily based on the reviews on Angies list. They clearly explained the options to fix the issues and recommended replacing the sod with St. Augustine as it was a better fit for the yard conditions. Once the sod was ordered, they kept me informed on the progress (it had to be delivered from the Houston area) and were punctual with the appointment. Installation was done professionally and the yard looks great now. No issues whatsoever.

Excellent. The bushes were completely taken out as well as the other plants and weeds. Mike re-positioned all of the bricks to widen the front planting area in front of the house. Looks so much better. He then showed me a design of that area with the kinds of plants that would work best in my front yard. All Texas friendly perennial plants, which I love. He had the brush stumps taken out and them he tilled the whole area. Planted the plants and place new dirt and mulch all around. It looked fantastic! Looking forward to spring when everything will really start grow! He also took out a circle of nothing bricks and put down sod. Mike worked with me to get the most value out of my dollar which i really appreciated. He re-used all of the brick I already had on the front design which helped keep the cost down. My plan is to have him work on my backyard sometime next year. I highly recommend Arbor Landscape Company.

Project went very well and I am so impressed with Mike! I had received about 5 bids over the course of the past year, and his was one of the most reasonable. But I didn’t just hire himself for that reason. I just had a good feeling about him, and he was very communicative and easy to get a hold of. I was so surprised that on Day 1 of the project it was him that showed up to do the work! I fully expected that a “crew” would come and do the work, and he would periodically check in, but that was not the case. And Mike is one hard worker! I can’t believe his stamina! Project took about 4 days. We are so happy with the results, and I will definitely hire him again for other projects in the future, and I will feel confident in referring any of my friends and family to him, too. Again, he is very communicative, and that scores a big points with me. Attached are a few “before” pictures and several “after” pictures. Thanks, Mike, for making sure any questions/concerns we had were all addressed. You are top notch!

After another service didn't respond, I reached out to Michael to remove our diseased Indian Hawthorne and to refresh our front planting area. He was very responsive with continual email updates of what was happening. He did most of the work himself and was onsite supervising when the sub-contractor was here to grind the stumps. We really like the selection of plants he chose, especially the Japanese maple. His prices were very reasonable. Would hire again.

Our home needed landscaping. We did not have any flower beds. I obtained 3 bids for landscaping from the list on Angies List. Mike was the lowest of the 3. He was very professional , honest, a hard worker, and paid attention to detail. The new beds with the plants has completely changed the look of the front of the house. We are very happy with his work. I normally do not write reviews but this time I had to do it. His work deserves praise. Do not hesitate to call him for an estimate. You will also be pleased.

"I met with client and we discussed putting in planting beds. The whole front of the house was lawn area. I shared a few ideas and presented a Landscape drawing for the aforementioned areas. We used different colors and textures of shrubs and utilized flowering trees to tie everything together. The new landscape totally transformed the front of the house. Mike was great. We had a general idea of what we wanted, but Mike helped put it all together. Removed tired hodge-podge of nandina, holly, boxwood, roses, yaupon, etc. from all around the house. Sculptured new beds in front, sides, and back with stone edging and planted drought tolerant, lower maintenance, "southwest" type plantings, complete with mulch and decorative river rock. Also built a large flagstone patio edged with Oklahoma chop stone under a large oak tree behind house for outdoor entertainment. Added soil and new sod to raise low area in backyard. Installed underground drains from gutter downspouts to go under new beds. Could not be happier with result.

Our yard was in rough shape, with dead shrubs and lots of bare spots in the yard. Mike answered his phone promptly when I called about an estimate for the work. He was able to take our project on a timely basis and he was in constant communication with us about the timetable for each phase of work. We felt the price was very fair and our landscaping now looks good again. I had a neighbor compliment us on our yard!

Mike and his company did a fantastic job on our project. We had a few photos of ideas we liked, but knew nothing about landscaping and needed someone to understand the style we were after and implement it using trees and plants that would be easy to maintain.
